  1. It’s not a mandate for one. And two, where in the annals of time have personal choices come without consequences
  2. We don’t ever need to play scared again. Mcd finally learned last year not to, and now it backfires once, and people want Jauron ball, stop
  3. I think Harris is absolutely the draft pick if he falls there, which he very well might. There are some obvious cuts to be made along with areas of need. The DL intrigues me because I think the return of Star, and the responsibility from opposing OLs he commands can help guys like Oliver and Espensa. We might not be as far off there as we think. I’d still welcome some fresh bodies though. I do believe you can let Milano walk too, I love the player, I only say that because the way to save younger, cheaper, Edmunds may be putting him outside
  4. Allen wasn't great tonight... but this is clearly a team that will always have to overcome Mcdermott's gutless tendencies when it matters. Always. Great season, potential long term problem in coaching
  5. Couple of tight ones in there though lol
  6. I saw that and am considering just burning the Jets picks then figuring it out
  7. I need some advice on a large pool I’m in. The Rules are you can only pick against a team twice... I’ve yet to pick against the Jets... do I burn a pick now, take the chargers, burning my 2nd Jags pick... or take the Saints? So far I’ve picked... PIT, CLE, NE, TB, HOU and Baltimore.. against NYG, CIN, LV, LAC, JAX and PHI
  8. I know they are missing players but even in there best years, at full health they get consistently out adjusted.. I also don’t buy into looking at today’s score as a plus. KC mauled us, just did so methodically
  9. He is constantly out of position, and it isn’t a new issue, continuing to allow it is self defeating... and I don’t think you can make a reasonable argument the D could be worse without Fraiser, changing a dreadful unit can’t deep six anything
  10. This defense, even in its better years under McD was always a little overrated. The scheme is very simple, very plain. It can work with great players, but injuries haven’t helped this year. Truthfully though, they could never adjust against good offenses, even at their best... so 2 things that could be done right now in the hopes of subtle improvement. 1. Fire Fraiser 2. Move Edmunds outside... or bench him
  11. My condolences PTR... I worked in banking for many years and dealt with account closures and things of the sort many times, every state has slightly different rules, but generally, an elder advocate would have little to no say regarding finances, not related to final expenses, and certainly no authority to close accounts, unless your father specifically granted that permission in writing. Any other questions feel free to reach out
  12. Cleveland. Some players have intimated that the Yanks and Dodgers did this too. Cleveland may be the true victim. Fitting for that cities history
  13. Cleveland would be the team with a complaint to lodge, they lost to the Yankees that year, but the Astros still had a domino effect on seeding, and the Yankees were a wildcard with Boston as division winners
  14. The contention is simple, I don’t condone it. I’m mearly stating they allowed it, all teams have stolen signs, since forever, and MLB has basically said, hey Houston, you were really good at this thing we allowed, pay for it. Did the same with steroids
  15. Everyone steals signs, everyone always has, MLB basically just suspended people for being too good at something they’ve allowed for ages. And equally importantly something they can not and will not stop going forward
  16. I enjoy the old school vibe they are bringing, tough to see them beating KC though. Baltimore loves to shorten games, Titans were an awful matchup for them
  17. The opposite is true, fans always put too much on a QB. I can find you plenty of play callers that elevate less talented QBs but you won’t find QBs who do the opposite, almost ever
  18. I tend to think that falls on Mcd, not Daboll, it’s likely a directive from the top. Good play designs by Daboll, baffling timing which likely only partially falls on him
  19. Everybody knows how tough this was, how it will stick with us fans. I for one hope this sticks with the coaches and players. I see people giving Allen an F grade for the 2nd half and such, while I don’t want to absolve his performance, to me, what I take from this, is I hope this is McDermotts lightbulb moment, the game he looks back on every time he needs to decide to try and win or try not to lose. I said it at the end of the first half, when he inexplicably settled for 3, it wouldn’t be good enough, it almost never is. Like quite a few other times this season, Allen was tasked with managing a lead, instead of trying to increase it. And it’s incredibly hard to judge a player in those instances. Worse yet, not even that feels uniform, settle for 3 to end the half, then turn down a long FG to go for it on 4th and 26?, Even considering Hauschs lack of success from 50+, he had to have better odds. Call 3 passes after the first down in OT, when all you needed was 6-7 yds for a chance? It all just feels so random. And it’s why Allen tried dumb things like the lateral, that coaching style puts more pressure on the players. All we can hope is they learn from it. Go Bills!
