  1. All those college games and in depth scout filming and what not. 2018 Metcalf on TV happened. Ted Ginn Jr 2.0
  2. I like the Ford pick. Mostly cause we traded up for an OT we wanted and I wanted an OT. I don't know much about Ford though. Do we like him? Is he good value? A reach? What do you think about Ford.
  3. Skill position players are a big question mark right now and it ain't getting fixed so far in the draft. There's certainly an argument to be made we should make a swing at a playmaker.
  4. Man you have no idea. My main gripe was pounding the walls losing Woods, Goodwin, Swatkins with horrible replacements. That has always been my biggest criticism with this team. But my ultimate draft philosophy for any successful team building is strong trenches. Always think heavy investment can be made to make them better. I want a playmaking receiver i've been begging for it. I want to go back to the depth of having glass Goodwin as our 3rd best who has turned our to be great. I don't quite want Metcalf, but did like Hollywood Brown and the Patriots WR pick (forgot his name) and thought they may have merited some trade up if possible. But I primarily wanted a splash top WR FA or trade. An elite guy to immediately come in and get to work. We don't have that yet and we've really squandered the existing talent to Oblivion. That's always been my concern and is obviously still a large concern for me going forward with what we currently have. I just don't mind how this particular draft is going per my general philosophy one bit. Just these last 2 picks.. in a vacuum.. I'm perfectly fine with. Outside these last 2 days? Skill players need to be addressed that's the big question mark on this regime.
  5. It's an emotional rollercoaster ride today. We're experiencing our full spectrum of Bills emotion.
  6. And I'm the negative one and I am psyched with this draft! Haha
  7. Plus we have the 2019 MVP Quarterback next year, and the next Kelly/Reich combo. The next Thurman in Frank Gore. The similarities are eeriely... Awesome!!
  8. Those guys are difficult to get. If Metcalf isn't blowing Beane away I don't want to whiff on a Darius Heyward Bey or Ted Ginn. I did like the guy the friggin Patriots ended up with. Forgot his name. We certainly need to make a concerted effort at the position. But trenches make everything easier. I hope Beane swings for the fences soon.
  9. He's a major homer generally with the Bills FO decisions too so i'm pretty surprised by the reaction.
  10. Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches Trenches. Yeah babee.
  11. I've been pounding the walls for skill position talent since day one. But from my very limited knowledge I've gotten the sense this draft is weak in skill position players. Add in the fact that Beane did make a play for Brown and ODB to some extent. Possibly a sign he didn't see a chance for a marquee WR in the draft and was exploring other avenues. I'll criticise picking positions that aren't a pressing need, or are not as impactful to the game. But I will never criticize the trenches. If you don't love Metcalf keep beefing us up on the lines. The trenches collectively make EVERYONE better. And we can search for weapons when the opportunity arrives. Lots of holes. Be opportunistic. Don't force it.
  12. Conventional in that the good teams flying under the radar get boring big lugs? Sign me up for conventional. Conventionally good.
  13. We got enough buffalo wings in Buffalo to feed our big lugs? Morse, Phillips, Ford, Hughes, Oliver need to eat. And eat some more. Quarterbacks that is. Slather them up in Buffalo sauce and go to town big Ed.
  14. Me as well. Let's get some more big lugs in there. All about getting JA the Dak & Russell Wilson experience as a young QB. Let's do more babee.
  15. Man.. let's get even more OL.
  16. Hell yeah. I LOVE the trenches babee. Let's see if we can push our way down field to TD's and push the other team back to safeties. Da TRENCHES. I'm psyched always wanted a big investment in the big lugs. It's a safe (ish) great overall investment. The boys make an impact in all facets. Beef them up. All about da trenches. Is he good? Do we like him? BPA? Good value? Reach? Someone enlighten me on Ford. I just like the fact we traded up for a guy we wanted.. in the trenches. LEEEEEETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
  17. CALLED IT. I was clearly talking about Ford. Gotta beef up the trenches. All about the trenches. Can't go wrong in the trenches. Safest investment you can make. Let's friggin dominate the trenches. Let's go all OL here on out starting with Jonah Williams 3rd round. Juwan Howard in the 4th. Sweat in the 5th. Josh Allen 6th. Christian Wilkins 7th. That's my suggestion for Beane.
  18. sorta how basketball is now positionless and nobody has a Power Forward, they have Wings and Stretch 3-5s and combo guards etc. Most sports pidgeonhole a player's role to a set position for each player on the field to make things easier for the casual viewer. Was Mike Tolbert a running back or a full back? Who cares he's a guy who used to block a lot on rushing plays that rushed for more yards than the other dudes who primarily just block out of the backfield. Give him a pro-bowl for being a heckuva full back!
  19. yeah apparently not. Thought I had seen all the first round picks already. Draft is boring. And 1st especially is too long to just televise a list. Sweat and Jonah Williams are out. I guess I thought the round was over after the 15th pick. There are 15 teams in the NFL correct?
  20. I like me some beef. I keep trying to watch the reaction videos from any of the shows and for some reason that topic keeps getting taken down from YouTube. Brown ain't gonna do anything. Just being a knucklehead.
  21. Gettleman is bad. That said I'd have gone that Duke QB over Haskins as well. Higher ceiling, Haskins feels like he'll be average at best. It's still a reach But get your QB next year ole Gettleman. This isn't complicated.
