The other highly mocked OT next to Juwan didn't get picked either right? Good chance one of those 2 or Greedy falls I say pull it. Moreso iffy on DK, but landing a premier OT in the second round would be amazing. I just want a stud OT so bad I may be overrating the OTs available. Oh yeah and Sweat too. Take a gamble with this pick. The stars are lining up.

I don't care about how they're rated. Just glad Bills didn't force getting a TE. I mean maybe it's subjective given the QB and the OC but that's always been my point. The QB needs to be TE friendly the OC needs to get the TE involved. It rarely happens to be incredibly effective. Edge rushers are easier. Subjective? Maybe, but 2 10 sack (good DE #s) seasons from your 2 edge rushers is huge whereas 2 600 yard, 5TD seasons from your TE's (good TE #s) is.. pedestrian. Maybe there's no great example of a college team with top 2 impactful players in other positions.. I just witnessed a case study where top 2 TE's didn't work. TE production is too easy to replace. JMO. Citing Iowa. And thinking of so many other highly rated TEs. My original post was supposed to be read as a "super sick burn" on teams going Hockenson and Fant. Call it a hot take. But I predict the Bills and the teams drafting BPA after Fant are going to get much more impactful players than the Hockenson and Fant teams. Just like OJ Howard, Kellen Winslow II, Jeremy Shockey, Jermaine Gresham, Eric Ebron, or Vernon Davis. Heck I value RBs over TE. Most any position. I'll bet my Flutie Flakes Cole Beasley is a more productive safety valve than Fant.

My point is they didn't quite have a huge impact in the win loss column. Didn't want them. Give a college team the top 2 NFL drafted edge rushers and they do better in the win loss column. I didn't want a TE. Hockenson and Fant's impact on Iowa confirmed my view on TEs. So yeah maybe my point is they should be winning more games. Or maybe they shouldn't and didn't cause.. idk.. they're TEs.

Noah Fant! Apparently Iowa had 2 superstar TEs last year. You could tell cause they were so good and the position is so valuable that Iowa must have been one of the best teams in the country.

I was partial to Josh Allen too. Incredibly high ceiling. I figured Jax would make the smart pick. OTOH I was glad Hock was off the board. Didn't want the temptation to stray away from Ed who I think is just as safe and high caliber as Josh Allen.

They're 1a and 1b for me. By the time the Jax were picking I was psyched we'd get either or provided we didn't fall for Hockenson's fools gold. Sure Hock may make me eat these words in a few years. But ole Ed was way more a sure thing.

Josh Allen and Ed Oliver were 1a and 1b for me. Josh Allen fits with any team on the edge. Don't care what scheme it is. Clearly can't complain about the Bills pick. Jax and Buffalo winning so far.
