I'm a Bills fan. That has made me a skeptic naturally. When the Bills went to the playoffs I was ready to embrace a loss because my team couldn't score points. I think what I have seen in preseason with my team has given me some hope. I know I shouldn't get over hyped about it. It was nice actually seeing Peterman and Allen get TD drives. If I can only get it in preseason it will be sad but I enjoyed the moments. To me Peterman looked decent. Not a guy without flaws but some one who at the very least led an efficient drive. Josh Allen is looking to be improving rapidly. It's enough to dedicate a preseason start to him. I won't try to convince you Josh Allen will be good. I can only tell you he is leaving a good impression when he plays. Enough to deserve some buzz.

When I look at McDermott I see a coach I believe will give this team the best chance to win. I see Superbowl victory. The guy is the process because he lives it.

You know it's bad timing. Josh Allen is about to start his first preseason game. The bills fans are hyped. I Don't blame people for being skeptics. It's not a good time to make that argument.

If Josh Allen wants to step up and take the job so be it. I think the long time Bills fans deserve a QB. I think Peterman set the bar. 9/10 1TD and 1 Int.

Touche fellow poster. I guess that would depend on Peterman. If we are winning games I don't think you make the switch.

Injury and the NFL are two things that just go together. You would have to completely change the game to remove the possibility of injury. If you want to remove the problems with preseason you might as well remove all the same problems caused by the game in general. Why go halfway? Football is a sport that can hurt you. That is the big picture. It will come with moments of greatness and tragedy. That is part of the allure of the sport. At least I view these guys as true gladiators sacrificing themselves for entertainment. I think it should be a known thing long before you get to a NFL level. This sport can mess you up badly. I'm not advocating for injury. Just saying injury going to happen unless you take contact out of the sport.

I don't think you start Peterman with the intention of just a few games. If they think Allen is that close, he is close enough. I have liked Petermans work in preseason. I have also thought that Josh Allen has given reasons to be looked at more seriously right now as a starter. I'm glad our draft pick is earning his stripes and seems to be learning quickly.

I seen Peterman avoid pressure and make a nice throw to Kelvin Benjamin on the sideline. I seen the line getting pushed back on his drives but his quick pass negated it. Then I seen AJ get destroyed and I didn't think he played great in his first game. I'll tell you something, Josh Allen is looking good buddy. Just Peterman isn't so bad or lucky. He gets the job done and it's adequate.

I like Peterman. He has a special talent I believe. His style of play will lead to interceptions. Only it won't matter if he connects more than not and it leads to points. I think he has shown in preseason to be adequate. If Josh Allen wants to rise up and take the job so be it. I don't think you sleep on Perfect Peterman.

Your post is an example of going almost hysterical. I won't deny he has flaws in his game but you would deny he has had a good showing in preseason. I disagree with you. I don't think Peterman is as bad as you think. He hasn't looked lost in preseason. I did see that trademark tipped pass for the interception. Those would happen in live games. I can agree with some criticism of Peterman. Just to the level he sucks so bad then why is he almost perfect in preseason... If Josh Allen is the man he will take the job. No need to sweat Perfect Peterman in Preseason. Hey Peterman go run the starting team to a TD. Done. Hey go lead the worst part of the team to a TD. Ok done.

I wanted to ask McDermott what he planned to do about that 3 point offense. Preseason has really made me feel a lot better.

I would like to see Josh Allen start the next preseason game. I think he has proven himself enough to keep raising his level of involvement. I just would like to see it with the starting squad before I am fully on board starting him this season. Can I get one more solid performance with the starters before I think it's sealed?
-
I think Peterman has made a case for himself. All of his detractors are just blowing smoke. He played well with the starters. People excused it away because of awesome O-Line that got AJ destroyed the next week. Then the 3's are terrible and Peterman takes it to the house. The same guys people were crying got Allen destroyed. Josh Allen is on the rise and if he is the hot arm you roll with him but in no way is Peterman slouching handing the job away. It's a real competition. At least come back to reality when talking about Peterman some of you are way to far gone to take serious.
-
Josh Allen is on the rise. Peterman has gotten his job done. So i think the only thing you see is the chargers game. When you talk about Peterman is sounds like your talking about him without actually seeing what happened so far in preseason. Not in denial about your points. Its just your point hasn't been an issue so far in preseason.
