  1. Preseason is all we have. Unless you want to live in the past. If you want to stay in the past then please consider that he wasn't a tire fire during the Colts game blizzard. It's preseason but if you have been keeping tabs he is the only one operating at the level he has been. It might be preseason but he is the only one looking good at all. It's Petermania or nothing. Embrace it. I've yet to see another of our QBs go 9/10 for a TD in a start. If preseason is so easy and Peterman is a fluke the other guys should be absolutely smoking him. It's not happening.
  2. I had a chance just now to watch Josh Allen's highlights. I was at work during the game. It didn't look as bad to me as the impression I got just reading opinions. I actually think he handled the pressure well. Yes a few times he was going to eat a sack regardless. A few times he earned the sack holding the ball to long. A few times he moves around in the pocket and makes a pass attempt. Two of them should of been a completion. One pass was under thrown crazy right? The other would of been an interception. He actually connected on some of the dink and dunk game. I'm not discouraged as others after a short view. That being said my vote goes to Peterman. I don't care the reason Peterman looked better. I don't think it's a conspiracy to game plan better for Peterman. Peterman has a better showing in preseason and that is fact.
  3. It's not if, it's when. Yes he will throw interceptions. I don't think he will get benched but I am pretty sure he will get banged up and miss games.
  4. I could of seen Allen go out and throw 9/10 and a TD, you know like Nate Peterman did in his first game. Also did it with the 3's that everyone cried got Josh Killed. Pass the Dutch man that's fire.
  5. Oh please stop saying AJMcarrons name like he has any possibility of starting lol. That's funny people. He looked worse in his start than Josh Allen did.
  6. I wanted Josh Allen to pass the test with flying colors. I'm dissapointed that didn't happen today. There will be over reaction because he had a bad game just like the over reaction to the potential he showed earning a preseason start. I still think the potential exist and will flourish in time. To me this game was a measure of Josh Allen's ability to start the first game this season. Im not looking at this game to define his entire career. Peterman threw 5 picks in his first start and I could still see potential and believe in a possibility of progress. People jumping on sides should learn to sit on the fence sometimes.
  7. Then why didn't Josh go 9/10 for a TD? If he's better then Peterman it should have shown in preseason. Josh has a better arm. Not the better preseason. Josh isn't better than Nate Peterman in preseason change my mind. I kept my mouth shut while everyone over hyped themselves.
  8. Let's all praise Peterman for making you guys think the O-Line was good for a day.
  9. I'm not going to hate on Josh Allen. I'm not going to make excuses for him either. People over hyped themselves and this game was a reality check. Giving a bunch of excuses isn't the answer. One QB has started in preseason and looked good. Just one.
  10. The stop sign might trick a few people as well.
  11. 9/10 and a touchdown without using a single running play.
  12. It's great when the defenses have to take shady into consideration. Not so good when he is the only one being taken into consideration.
  13. I found this video sometime after that game happened. I liked this guys breakdown of the situation. Peterman gets some credit for some good plays and attempting to do things. Peterman also gets some criticism on some plays. I wouldn't say Peterman was sabotaged. I would say he was thrown into a tough situation. I think he tried to do to much and got embarrassed. His second game was fine and he still did a rookie thing diving head first. The one thing his haters won't see is that he risked himself looking bad trying to be an overachiever. He isn't that bad at passing to enter every game and throw 5 interceptions in a half. People jump all over the chargers game but it is the only game they have. They don't talk much about his next game. It wasn't 5 interception bad and he contributed to the win and played in a blizzard. Its kind of sad that Nate Peterman won't get credit for the good he has done. People become to hyper focused on the bad. It was one game. It was his starting debut. It was a fluke. I also believe McDermott doesn't hang onto players he doesn't have a use for. Peterman has a value to the team.
  14. I've been an advocate for Peterman. As many pointed out he has shown well in preseason before. I don't disagree about his flaws. I like his potential a little more than other people. I think Peterman at least recognized that throwing to Kelvin Benjamin is money before Tyrod. Josh Allen is making some noise. I've preached caution with him. I wasn't in favor of him starting right away. He really himself has changed my mind with some of his work. I can't deny the potential. I'm ok with Josh Allen not being perfect tomorrow. I just would like to see established rythm. If it is absolutely clear Josh Allen isn't able to maintain tomorrow I will have to be in favor of giving Peterman the nod. I think any QB is starting for the Bills is going to have to react very quickly a lot of times. I hope daboll is a wizard. I like Peterman but Josh Allen is the favorite for a reason. Seeing him progressing has been a treat. I would be surprised if he doesn't make some plays tomorrow. I'm in favor of Peterman getting the start this season but the story would end better if Josh Allen is the winner.
  15. Well at least an attempt was made. The Bills are going to be good anyway.
  16. I agree with OP. The two of them have kept the news streamlined efficiently and it does make my board visit a better experience. So even if it has been said before I don't think it's a problem to give a shout out of appreciation.
  17. The reason Nate Peterman started in the first place.
  18. Tyrod in the playoffs was a complete non factor just saying. Peterman may not have been the answer but Tyrod wasn't either.
  19. I've been impressed with Josh Allen. I definitely agree that giving him the next start is merited. I wouldn't call the competition over yet. Josh Allen is the hot topic and Peterman is old news to most people. Without much notice or fanfare Peterman also has had a nice preseason. First they ignore you then they attack you type situation for that guy. If Peterman wasn't doing something right people that don't like him wouldn't feel the need to speak so much. They feel he is a threat to start and he is.
  20. I want Josh Allen to win the job. I'm glad he is pushing for the starting position. Obviously him starting is a sign that the team feels he might be ready. I hope he is. I just don't think it's fair to discredit Peterman.
