Nobody should be doubting Beane or McDermott
Lfod replied to SoCoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I support McDermott. I support Bean. I am fully on board with a meltdown and rebuild. I am definitely still very unhappy with the product I seen against the Ravens. I hope McDermott and Bean are as well. Im ok with a bad team. I'm not ok with a team that goes on to the field and beats itself. You can't go backwards on that many offensive drives. It's an embarrassment when they experiment with Lamar Jackson against you and then get to fully feature him. It's an embarrassment for the other team to be that far ahead relaxing on the other side. Your not in the stadium to give the other team a good time. It was in my eyes almost a complete meltdown of epic scale. I really wasn't impressed with the defense until it started coming alive some. I seen a lot of close plays that could of been made. It might not be as bad as it looked that day on the defensive side. I do however believe the Offense was exposed completely. Even if you take out a lot of drives went backwards, nobody was making plays. No run game and no air game. No trickery or confusion in the game plan. At least Josh Allen is cut throat. I applaud that he tackled that guy who tried to body check him on the sideline. I liked that he just made the play himself because no one got open. Great slide at the end for Josh. -
Well not backing Nate as a starter is telling enough I think.

Nike is taking a grass roots movement and using it as a marketing campaign to make money. It isn't about shining a light on the topic. It's using the topic to shine a light on this brand. I don't agree with it but you have to be cut throat in business to win.

I understand the sentiment. I kept saying before the Ravens game that all I want is the team to be competitive. The Ravens game was not competitive. It was comically bad. I didn't see a team playing disciplined deserving the benefit of the doubt. I seen a sloppy team committing penalties, missing tackles and blowing assignments by a mile. I really don't want to be the negative glass is half empty guy but that glass was completely empty. It's hard to believe after that game.

I wish some one would bring him in and dispell the myth surrounding this guy. Nike cares about your feelings when it makes them money. The cause just turned into Nike shoes sales. It's actually smart move. Your new 100$ Nike shoes are a symbol of your fight for more freedom. *Tears*

Who are we competing with for the #1 overall pick?

That is a scolding hot take. -
I was a strong supporter of Peterman starting and not rushing Allen. After the Ravens game I just can't support Peterman as starting QB anymore. It has to be Josh Allen now by default. This is entertainment so give the people what they want. I have to agree with people now in seeing what we have now and not have any doubts when the team has capital. My mind was changed by the Ravens game. Now I just want to see the world burn.

Peterman has a career 4:1 completion to int ratio!

It was a lot more entertaining. Start the kid. -

Well I'd rather at least see my team lose in competitive fashion and not a total unquestionable beat down. If a QB change can make that difference I support it. As for Peterman I do agree, you can't march him out as a starter if your going to end up pulling him before the game is over and be taken seriously. Each time it happens the HC reputation takes a nose dive. My only point is that while you guys are yucking it up about Peterman your forgetting that was a team loss yesterday. It's far from Peterman being the only problem. -

I just think people are dog piling on one guy like the entire team didn't suck. Yes bench Peterman and start Allen. Just don't don't expect miracles because Peterman is the bad guy in your mind. -

Will it stop the O-Line jumping offsides and holding? Peterman is toast and I won't argue that. I just think the problem is "more" than just Peterman right now. Getting rid of Peterman solves the Peterman problem only. -

So the next guy will have amazing stats? -

If we bench Peterman will the Bills suddenly be good? -
You should of told that guy that he deserves to be fired.

I'm under the impression the entire offense is trash. Allen will most likely start now so maybe the Wrs will get open and the O-Line won't jump offsides all game. Hopefully Shady can break a run without holding penalties attached. Hopefully the punter doesn't fumble a punt and maybe the defense won't leave guys wide open by a mile and a half. Who knows maybe Daboll doesn't look like a Rick Dennison clone with his game plan to straight suck. Hopefully Allen is the keys to make everyone do thier jobs because we all know Peterman couldn't. I think everyone on the O-LINE took a turn jumping offsides. I hope Allen is the guy that makes the entire picture not blow chunks. On to the Chargers yucksters.

The Bills didn't lose a close game. The players should feel bad.
-
The Bills were comedy gold for the Ravens. All the drive killing penalties. The Ravens didn't have to beat the Bills because they beat themselves real good.

Either McD can't evaluate QB talent or....
Lfod replied to CoachT's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Soon as Allen struggles people will jump all over it. Peterman wasn't good but the entire team was bad and most people use Peterman as a scapegoat. Allen isn't going to like starting 1st and 15 or 20 either because stupid penalties. Shady breaks a run finally oh wait some one holding made it happen so it doesn't count. -
When are the Bills going to cut Peterman?
Lfod replied to icewood44's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will cutting Peterman make this team better? I doubt it because the whole team sucked including the wannabe stars. The guy should shoulder the blame but he isn't the only person that should get the blame. -
I believe yesterday was a bit of a fluke
Lfod replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The team was dominated in every way. It was definitely a hard game to watch. The team didn't look competitive. They looked like a bad joke. I'm a Buffalo Bills fan. I'll follow the team this season but that game was beyond the worst case scenario I expected. I thought my team would be bad not an embarrassment. -
The grass is always greener on the other side.
