Jamal Adams doubles down on his challenge to Josh Allen
Lfod replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think I want this guy on the Bills. Just quit the trash talk and walk the trash walk brother. Josh Allen and the Bills are going to be running the division soon. -

Interesting Astro Tweet re: Beane

I'll be honest. I wasn't expecting many moves. I'd still be shocked if something really big dropped. -
It's close to the season. Kelvin Benjamin is an important peace to the team. McDermott probably told him to man up and get himself together in private and waved it off as dealt with publicly. It's probably the best that whatever happened between McDermott and Benjamin over what happened stays between them and he does put it behind the team. I'm not trying to justify what happened. Just that it doesn't need a judge or jury. Just a guy mouthing off in a brutal sport.

Well in my view McDermott took last seasons roster after stripping it for a little profit and broke the Bills drought. Sure it wasn't dominant playoff birth but the team was club Rex before McDermott took the wheels. I understand people and having concerns. I have many myself concerning what the offense will look like. It's almost here guys. Throw it all away, this is a McDermott and Beane roster and it will be productive and possibly give us something special again. At least the defense will hold games in check and give our offense so many extra opportunities to develop an identity. Just like last season. I'm not going to disrespect this roster. I think this is the very best we can get at the moment and the coaching wizard may inspire these dudes.

I'll say this much. I really enjoyed Astros stuff last season. It was special to me because this was McDermotts first season and I didn't buy into Rex Ryan at all. I viewed him as a big name but a name only. So when Astro reported seeing drills he never seen before at camp I was intrigued. The season kinda showed that the different drills did have an effect during the season. At that time last season I was hoping McDermott was the real deal. Astros reports gave me confidence and the season did turn out special. Different then prior years and a bit boosted. The guy seems to be working his way up as far as connections go so I wouldn't doubt him if he did start tweeting some goodies. -

I don't know enough to know if this is a tweet from a guy excited about his team saying Beanes not done yet. Like something I would say. That this team is going to be special and we have a real brain trust now. It could also be that dude he caught information that Beane is actually going to be making moves and is dropping a hint. It does look like Atro has been making friends when out and about. So I wouldn't doubt he might know something. Anyway I really did enjoy his training camp reports. Especially last year. I think him reporting seeing the team doing drills he never seen before and the team actually making the playoffs was all great. -

I love hearing about how great Watkins is as a decoy. Tell me more. -

A lock only because of circumstances. Hasn't a accomplished enough to be considered a real "lock". -
Before the Bills drafted Josh Allen I seen a lot of dislike for Allen. I even seen a joke video on this site about the Bills picking Allen like a nightmare sequence. I was actually surprised when it happened. I had no dog in the race but with the level of trash being talked about Allen and the tweet thing I thought it was Rosen. I agree with the thought process. Pick the big physical specimen. So I grew to really love the pick after awhile.

I'm sure in his head he's thinking I wanna be the starting Bills QB and have a good season that gets me a contract to make my hot wife stay with me. I have a two rookie chumps to beat out and one had a 5 interception game. He might just be thinking that the Bills is just another gig extending his time in the NFL. He might be thinking I just walked on to a team that was doing squat on offence twords the end of last season. He could really know deep down that starting for the Bills will probably not go well. -
I hope Daboll can have some success this season. It would be nice to see the offense start to formulate an identity to build on for the future. I really hope he's ruthless when it comes to scoring points. Anyway Daboll is the man now and I think it would be nice to at least be trending upwards from whatever the start of the season looks like. That's my measuring tool. Polish that turd!

"Ruining" a QB by starting him too soon
Lfod replied to Buffalo86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have made the argument for waiting to start Allen until Daboll has his offense established. It wasn't about ruining Allen. It was more about if Allen could be successful in the current situation or not. After some training camp and getting a peak at Daboll at work I at least feel better. It's not the same offense as last season so I'm feeling more open minded. We all have opinions and the story is going to play out anyway. -
If you were an opposing DC how would you play Bills personnel?
Lfod replied to KingRex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would take the day off and let some assistant handle my light work. Not wasting my energy on a team that fired an OC last year. In all seriousness I assume a lot will change so I would actually have to game plan against it. That is my hope. -
Allen already a factor in QB race ?
Lfod replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People getting the fever. -
I'm confident in the defense. I think it should be solid if what I seen last year was an indicator. I'm not very confident about the Offense. I still wouldn't call it a bad practice like that rodak guy said in his tweet. I understand it but it's not my style. Under different circumstances I'd understand heavy criticism. I think the situation merits a little patience. I definitely don't think this team will be terrible. I just don't know if it will be together enough to score the points more frequently. I hope Daboll is cut throat.

Harrison Phillips already standing out
Lfod replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the defense offered a lot of extra opportunity for the offense to dominate. It was sad to see many wasted opportunities. Last season could of been more special if the offense did the job more frequently. Definitely would have pushed deeper in the playoffs. -
Practice is to iron out the mistakes. There will be mistakes. This wasn't a team established on offense last season. This is a team in training. I'm getting pumped up from the tweets.
