you guys are hilarious it wasn't the right call. the 3 points is already in your back pocket by holding the jags who hadn't moved the ball the whole first half. What are they going to do on the 1 or 2 yard line? I guess you also liked when Mcdermott punted the ball on 4th and 1 in the Indy game too. Dude plays the game like a loser. The odds were so much more in their favor to go for it and get the 3 later if that failed.
bull ****. The jags weren’t moving the ball at the very least you get he ball back get 15 to 20 yards and get a fg before half and end it 3-0 instead it played out the way it did and you end up 3-3
And the bills decide to kick the fg. It ended up working out when Jacksonville jumped offsides but this is the story of McDermott for the year. Play not to lose. If you trust your d which you should have this game you go for it and if you do t get it hold the jags to a 3 and out backed up in their own end then the 3 would still be there before the end of the half. This guy has 0 balls and has a loser mentality in my opinion. Meanwhile the jags go for it on fourth and short and get a td. Thanks McDermott.
Wait we get defensive rookie of the year and another mid to late round 1st round pick and it’s not good or great? It’s not a franchise changer yet but it’s certainly better than ok
Funny that everyone forgets all the stars were out partying before all the Super Bowl games. Who gives a **** what he does two nights before a game and there’s no proof he’s even drunk or getting wasted.
The funny thing no one seems to mention is when they do go for it on fourth down the calls have been horrendous. How many 3rd and short then fourth and shorts have they had this season where they don’t even give their best player shady the ball? When they did that rollout with their 3rd string qb on fourth and short on their first possession against Indy I would have fired Dennison on the spot lol. It’s like Dennison try’s to sabotage their fourth down attempts on purpose.
Glad they finally figured out what the rest of us knew by week 2. That guy almost single handily fumbled away two games while offering zero positive production.
Are you serious Clark? So giving the ball to your MVP on a 4th and 1 is a bad call but asking for a bunch of things to go perfect after that is the right one?
yes it has to do with the Bills winning. Kind of hard to do that if the time runs out. The fact that Mcd got bailed out by a hail mary in the snow by a 3rd string QB makes you think he's some kind of genius. When looking at the odds in that situation it was an awful decision.
No it wasn't. Just because it worked doesn't mean it was the best call at the time. We needed a miracle to happen in that Webb pass instead of just giving the dam ball to the best player on the field. Stupid, Stupid, decision.
the problem is you are acting like it's a guarantee that the Bills don't get the first. Grow some balls dude. You have better odds giving the ball to McCoy and telling him to make a play than having to go 65 yards relying on a 3rd string QB who just almost threw the game deciding INT in your own end.
How bout the common sense odds that you no longer have the ball there's 4 min left in the game and the colts just had a 10+ minute possession. Coaching on both sides was atrocius today. I remember at one point the Colts punted on a 4th and 3 I think from the Bills 32. There should have been no punting by either team once you crossed the other side the field as kicking a fg wasn't really a good option.
