  1. Oliver, Poyer, Edmunds and Singletary all played well last night. I think we can lay a reasonable bet this will continue. Have to start to add Phillips and dare I say Crowder into the "how many of these guys can be signed" list. What a great problem for Beane to have! The guys that don't make the cut will be signing some big contracts somewhere else. 2024 draft will have 3rd round comp picks for the Bills and none for the Pats. It's just one more F U to BB.
  2. The whole DL played great. Phillips had a great game. I'm dumbfounded as to why fans want to "rate" every player against another player.
  3. I commented after the game about the Hill INT. I found a reply of the play. When Crowder came off the line it looks to me that he wanted to be a little shallower in his route but S Nick Scott (#33) was directly in his way. Crowder chose to go deeper to get around him. If he went shallower, he would have not been past the chains. It seems to me it threw off the route and timing. Should Allen not have thrown the pass? In hindsight yes. Should Crowder tried to come back some? In hindsight, yes. Crowder also slowed down because Josh didn't throw quicker. He could have kept moving to keep Hill behind him. My opinion is that it was not really all Crowder's or Allen's fault but just one of those plays that happens. I say all this not to lay blame or try to cover up blame for either player. Just find it interesting and would love to hear the team discuss this play when they watch it. https://www.therams.com/video/highlights-rams-cornerback-troy-hill-intercepts-bills-josh-allen
  4. I'm going to say it once more. Chris gushes over any player or team who are playing great. He's a cheerleader for the elite. Josh will have him praising everything he does.
  5. Yep. Kelly Skipper will not be happy. I wouldn't want to be in the RB room next week.
  6. Trollin', Trollin', Trollin' on the river.
  7. OK I wasn't posting during the game but now that it's over I hope someone can post the complete play of the Josh/Crowder INT. As Crowder came across a LB was in his route path and he had to turn up to avoid him. It slowed his pattern and made his route deeper. Josh threw the ball late (because Crowder was a split second late getting to the spot and a little deep), this gave the DB the chance to break on the ball. I believe what I saw was accurate and if so, it really was no one fault. Just a bad set of circumstances. With all the time I got in retirement I just might get that All 22 (if that's the right term) subscription. If someone knows how to get that play it would be great.
  8. I mean it's the first game. I'm positive Dorsey is designed plays for each style of the 3 RBs. He's got to see how it works.
  9. Josh played his first game back in California. Had all his friends and family around. He was making a statement and loving it.
  10. LOL. Josh doesn't need to wash his junk. Chris was doing it all night. When will all you people understand that Chris Collinsworth over praises all great playing teams and players. It's what he always has done.
  11. I'm assuming everyone in the GDT will behave with the utmost maturity! Right.
  12. After looking at the depth charts it looks like Boogie is backing Groot, so I think he dresses. Von's backup is either Epenesa or Lawson. So that's why I went that way. Who dresses may be determined on how much run plays the Bills expect the Rams to have.
  13. TB was just shown on NFLN. WTF. He looks like a skeleton.
  14. I'm sticking with what I have been saying. TE (Looks like Morris who is still dinged) OL (Doyle still dinged) DL (between Shaq and Epenesa) LB (Spector) DB (Lewis) I might not have all the players right, but they come from those positions.
  15. Just found a bakery in Colorado Springs that sells Kummelweck rolls that I'm going to try. Won't have to try to make them myself anymore. A friend of mine found the place and they make some pretty good German Potato Salad too. Wish I could get some Red Osier roast beef out here, LOL. My god I wish there was a Wegman's out here! Like I said earlier, making gravy instead of Au Jus is the bomb and of course plenty of horseradish.
  16. Having him sign his contract and get on that plane with all his vet friends congratulating his efforts is an inspiration to the young guys.
  17. Beef on Weck (with gravy not Au Jus, like Bailo's on Bailey Ave use to make), mashed potatoes and Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage for pre-game. It's what Mom made for Sunday Bills games when I was a kid. She turns 90 this year and I'm pulling out all the stops! Win it all for her this year!!
