  1. He's in his 3rd season. He was an UDFA, but he has like 6 starts in 2 years. Your point is still valid.
  2. I'm not going to get into this with you. Just when I listened to his whole comment, he wasn't bashing JA. Plus "potty" has nothing to do with a racial slur. I have an Asian girlfriend so easy with your language.
  3. He praises Josh and predicts his play Thursday can bring a Championship. His opening comment was more a stupid joke. Thanks for posting this.
  4. Thanks @BuffaloBillfor posting this and please keep them coming. These threads are why this board is so great!
  5. Your right. I was thinking of Robey-Coleman in the slot. Got them confused.
  6. Agree. When I rewatched the game Moss had a lot of check downs thrown to him that gave him no chance of advancing the ball. If they went to Devin, the same results would have happened. I do believe Devin has a better vision running than Zack does.
  7. You would know about Ohio players better than I, LOL. Just did the Draft Profile thing.
  8. Didn't think about Seymour. I was replying to @Motorin'post about Ronald Darby. Is he still in the league? I'm thinking he was a Doug pick. I thought CBs because the Bills were drafting them every year back then. LOL.
  9. Slot corner that left when McDermott took over. I was scratching my head when that happened. Well done, if he is still in the league. I think he was last year.
  10. I can't think of anyone else, but it seems to me there has to be another CB out there somewhere.
  11. I agreed that Poyer is most likely gone. As to my comments on cap I just meant that a larger increase would enable Beane to keep a couple more of the UFAs he has coming up. I also agree with the way the safeties probably role over. I don't totally agree about Beane bringing in some high dollar FAs next year. I think he uses his money to re-sign his own FAs.
  12. Thanks for the info about their rookies. I hadn't looked up their depth chart yet, so your post inspired me. RT Petit-Frere. From what I read he is a complete unknown as to how his NFL career will go. Here is his draft profile from NFL.com as example. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/nicholas-petit-frere/32005045-5451-7308-20b9-a04a397749a8 McCreary sounds like a solid prospect more suited to NCB than CB. It's weird that depth charts have him in both. I guess we'll know this weekend where he lines up. RG Aaron Brewer is an UDFA with only 6 NFL starts in the last 2 years. The got Robert Woods this year and the 1st round rookie Traylon Burks but after that their pass catching threats at WR and TE are a pretty weak. I can't see how they keep up if this game turns into any kind of shootout. Wow, I forgot about Woods and his ACL last season. Thank you.
  13. I tend to agree with you. The only thing that is the complete wildcard as to what ultimately happens with players starting next year will be the new cap structure. The more I read, the more I am believing it will indeed explode between 2023 and 2026. There are many articles saying that by 2026 the cap should be at a minimum of $300M. Beane and the other GMs must know way more than we do about this. It's going to be an interesting off season this year!
  14. If you truly believe that, wouldn't the fumble humble him. I would bet he was one of the quietest guys on the plane ride back. Let's give him 100 touches before we even start to see his worth.
  15. Basham is looking fast. I also noticed he has a high motor and never gives up on plays. I saw him way down field often after pass completions. I really like his energy. It does look like Beane and McDermott finally got the DL they wanted.
  16. My Dad worked with a guy with season tickets. He'd give programs to him for my brothers and me. I would read them over and over. Great memories but I sure wish I would have kept them.
  17. Just rewatched the game. A lot of the check downs to Moss was when he was surrounded by D. On one play he caught the ball 4 yards behind the LOS surrounded and managed to get a 3-yard gain all on his own. I'm not saying Moss is better than Devin but this talk that he is a detriment to the team is just crazy.
  18. No that is not factual. Without the 4 turnovers the Bills may have scored 4 more times. They were in FG range on 2 of those turnovers. Do I exaggerate?
  19. Great response on how they handle a thing like the Cook fumble.
  20. Context Einstein, context. Elam played late in the game when the game was over and the D as a whole was letting Stafford play pitch and catch for short yardage gains. Let's just give it some time to see how things play out.
  21. All this Moss over Singletary stuff like it was a schemed gameplan is nothing but speculation. I'll speculate. I would imagine with all 3 RBs dressing and Dorsey being a new OC that all were going to get touches. Singletary was going to start and probably was going to get the most snaps. Lo and behold he did. He got just under 60% of them. I'm fairly certain a number of Moss's snaps (37%) would have gone to Cook (5%) but the young man had a rough start. Gilliam had 32% of snaps as the FB. When he went down, I do think that changed some of the personnel decisions. That is a lot more than his average of 14% last year. Hope he's OK going forward. Running plays can be RPOs a lot of times and how many catches a RB receives due to check downs are not "game planned". The final statistics can lead to conclusions by some but can also not be factual. I don't see some radical change in what I plan to see this year. Devin will get the lion's share of snaps and Josh won't run as much as he did yesterday. Only question I have is which RB gets the 2nd amount. I believe it will ultimately be Cook. Speculation over.
  22. Yes. Dane is also a RFA next year. I get the feeling Beane will have some great options as to how he handles the whole CB situation. If Dane isn't on the team next year Beane will get a pick for him.
  23. Of course it was. Also, I bet half of Firebaugh and all his alumni teammates from Reedley JC was in attendance. The prodigal son returned to show who he became! Knowing how he thinks I don't blame him. He won't be doing this in normal game situations the rest of the season.
