  1. He is older than Crosby and wants to play for a contender so it does mean he will play for a little less IMO. Still is costing over $30M AAV.
  2. He's going to be 33 when the season starts. Not sure that is worth the effort to get him and Josh in sync.
  3. Exactly. It set up to move money out perfectly if Khalil is playing well. It's really a good contract for all.
  4. The draft pick was Minnesota, but the trade was with Houston. They have the 3rd rounder.
  5. I agree on how valuable he is. I just don't know if Beane (who hasn't signed RBs) will do it for $14M AAV. It will be interesting to see this play out.
  6. He can't hold out the whole year, that's for sure.
  7. It is a volatile subject. I still think for the Bills POV it's $12.5M max. The whole thing ends up how Cook reacts IF Beane doesn't sign him before camp. I don't see a trade in the making right now.
  8. I know this a touchy subject with Bills fans, but I'm OK giving Cook $12.5M AAV which makes him the 4th highest in the league. I wouldn't do anything more than that. Cook along with players like Spencer Brown and Shakir need to have their cap pushed out to make room for a 3-4 year run with Josh.
  9. A player designated to a Post June 1st cut can sign with any team immediately after being cut. Tre White was designated a Post June cut on March 13th last year and signed with the Rams on April 9th. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/21768/tredavious-white
  10. He kept his old contract. Jets restructured $10M last year. They would eat only $8M leaving $30M (no guaranteed money) to the traded to team. No way anyone is doing that IMO. Jets will have to cut him.
  11. I see him getting a 2-year contract worth around $4M. If I'm Beane I match that and keep him in Buffalo.
  12. Yes. He can sign with a team and be with them before June 1.
  13. Agree but I think it's going to be 5th or 6th.
  14. https://www.spotrac.com/news/_/id/2674/49ers-agree-to-trade-samuel-to-washington Good article on Spotrac about Deebo's contract options for Washington. If the Commanders choose to decline the $15.4M option bonus, that entire amount will be added to his $1.17M base salary, raising his 2025 cap hit to $17,550,525. All of this of course assumes that Washington and Samuel don’t agree to a new or restructured contract once the move becomes official. Cap Hits (Option Exercised) 2025: $5,206,105 2026: $12,344,420 (void dead cap) Cap Hit (Option Declined) 2025: $17,550,525
  15. Something that caught my ears when I heard that yesterday.
  16. Any GM trading for him should be immediately fired.
  17. It was interesting to hear how little experience he has. No one really knows what his ceiling is.
  18. Lots of things changed with the team. Not just Diggs. I usually don't play the what if stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing what they field this year. Once again, it's a new year and I'm hopeful. LOL.
  19. Diggs became more and more of a headache AND he disappeared during the playoffs. That's why he isn't on the team anymore.
  20. I want him back too, but Ty is going to test the market. We will see what happens soon.
  21. Last year of his contract and his cap hit is small. Seems like a good risk/reward to me for Washington.
