I listened to the whole first 90 minutes of the show. The OP premise is just untrue. Why does any talk of the fumbles/missed throws have to be negative? I was talking with my cousin and we both agreed Allen could have easily had 5TDs if not for the Brown and Beasley misfires. That's a good sign IMO. I'm listening on the app and am behind, but Howard Simon just came back from commercial saying Allen had career highs in many categories. Do you want him to just keep repeating that all morning?

what argument? Because it’s seems like you still don’t understand the “300 yard crowd” premise. Everyone has always agreed that 300 is an arbitrary number and doesn’t guarantee team success, however it’s a benchmark routinely reached even by some of the leagues worst quarterbacks and anemic offenses. So for the Buffalo Bills to go 3 plus years without a single 300 yard game there has to be something wrong either with the talent of the QBs or the conservative offensive philosophy or both.

hate this argument. Teams pass more when they’re down big. So even a bad offense can get 300 once in a while.

Yeah, the Bills came back and won by a point in last year’s opener, but I didn’t know that good teams know how to make the opposing kicker miss. it’s very possible the Jets are being undersold, just because some are picking them to win as few as 3 games. I could see them going 8-8 with the division games being such question marks.

and the Bills started the season down 0-16 to those historically bad NYJ. Also, those dolphins you’re referencing dominated a Buffalo team coming off a bye for a half, were about to close the game out before tre’s int. I can’t see Buffalo losing tomorrow, but there’s a higher than zero chance the Jets pull off the upset. The first half of both those games are still in the back of my mind.

It’s a deflection from the fact that our coach/GM/OC drafted him (in the same draft as Watson Mahomes), after he threw 5picks in one half they didn’t cut him, started him week 1 2018, didn’t cut him again so he was around to throw another pick6 in the Texans game, didn’t cut him again, started him again week 9 agains bears 41-9 loss He should’ve been out of the league after the chargers game. It’s not his fault he can’t play the toughest position in sports.
