  1. Yeah, we are rebuilding. They are getting ready to completely repave the roster over the next few years. Buckle in That's why we have to let a regime play it out one of these days. Can't keep firing everyone every few years.
  2. And accomplish what? You'll have to reset again with a new coaching staff because if the players don't fit into what the coaching staff is trying to do...it's just not gonna work.
  3. Guys like Tolbert are bridge players that they are familiar with until they address the position in the offseason. Sammy and Marcel were guys that you'd have to pay a ton of money to and are guys their teammates looked up to, if those two don't buy into the system then that spreads over the whole team. Ragland doesn't fit the scheme. Darby is a press corner and didn't buy into the process. It's all about the future and having "their guys" in the building. Instead of trying to build around the talent we have like we've done for 17 years maybe they decided to change things up and now they are actually gonna give a front office some time to get their guys in the building and see if they can build something?
  4. I honestly can't watch another 100 yard game for Tyrod so, let's do it. Have him practice with the 1s this week.
  5. Dynasty's aren't built overnight. I know it's been 17 years but with this regime, let's not run them out of town and see what they can do.
  6. The front office is setting up for the offseason. They don't care what we do this year. They want to repave the roster completely and that starts by clearing cap space and acquiring draft picks. This offseason is a huge step in this process. McDermott isn't playing with his type of players yet. Firing a regime within 4 years is idiotic, everyone wants to repave the roster and get guys that fit their system. Let it play out. They found a couple solid players this first draft, see what they can do with a full season and if theres no progress, then you can start clamoring.
  7. I'd rather wait and start him against a team like Indy so he can catch up to game speed against a bad team
  8. Of course he was talented and makes our defense worse. That's not the point from the coaching staff. The point is TRUST THE F$$KING PROCESS or get the f$$k out. Getting out of his contract was big too but a guy that people look up to on the defense who doesn't TRUST THE PROCESS is a threat to the coaching staff. He could lose some of the other players too. I think that was the goal. Maybe it backfired? We'll see but I think they are looking past this season even though they aren't saying that. They are setting up for the offseason to clear a lot more of this roster out and keep bringing in their guys. I think they are trying to completely repave this roster. But if it works, they'll look like heros, if it fails...we'll be flushing another few years down the drain. We might not see a lot of our own free agents back this offseason
  9. That game is such a big cliffhanger for the next week. This outta be good. Hoping Start Peterman is on the next page
  10. Or they could be given credit for waiting until he was ready to start? You can spin it either way
  11. Any chance we are watching the start of the Peterman era in Buffalo?
  12. I can't wait to see what this regime does with a full offseason and another draft in free agency.
  13. I agree, I see a them addressing it multiple times in the draft and in free agency It's not gonna be an easy day against some of the Saints pass rushers, they've formed a decent front line with Cameron Jordan leading the way. He's having a nice season
  14. Buffalo definitely needs to step up in this type of game for once in the drought. But Osweiler is hurling the rock for Denver...if they score over 10 i'd be shocked. They have been horrid lately but who knows. Either way, Buffalo needs to step up and defend their dirt. They do but they were early in the season, the games get bigger as we get closer to the playoffs.
  15. If we play our game and not the saints game then we have a chance. If we get into a shootout, that's where Brees is comfortable and we are not. If we hold the saints to 24 or less today we win, otherwise 5-4 IMO
  16. Completely agree. Mayfield is a difficult prospect to scout. He truly is a love hate prospect for me too.
  17. I honestly don't think we can judge a draft before the players have seen action on the field. Who thought Tre White would be even half as good as he is as a rookie number one corner. There are too many variables that make up a good player it's too hard to say who's going to be better than who. We've seen the biggest talents lay eggs. Take Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell...the list could go on and on. But but but he was better than him coming out...it honestly doesn't matter. If a player isn't going into a comfortable environment that doesn't make him do too much too quickly, he can develop but how many Cleveland or Buffalo QBs have been drafted with talentless offenses around them only to watch their careers plummet. Brady Quinn and JP Losman say hi. These crappy teams need to get a little talent before they get their QB or they could shorten the QBs career and limit his success in this league. We've seen it time and again. Keep adding talent to the offense and find a guy if Tyrod doesn't stay.
  18. I wish he was on a team that had a little more talent around him so he could actually show off his abilities. He's trying to drag the rest of his team and right now in his development, the rest of his team is hurting him. With players like these top programs have, I think he'd look like the top guy in the class tossing the ball around the field like he's the next big thing. But...his team blows and he's been less than successful in covering that up through his abilities.
  19. He needs more developing in my opinion before heading to the NFL. It'd be a mistake if he left.
  20. I'd say if they pull Poyer or Hyde out of the secondary, it'll be a long day. Those two guys thrive in those spots.
  21. I like the idea of putting Milano on him, I think he could keep up with him for the most part and at the very least slow him down a little while keeping Hyde at safety.
