Does he not fit McDs scheme? Just wondering your opinion Could Derwin James be looked at as a linebacker in McDs scheme?
-
He honestly reminds me a lot of Dareus coming out in terms of ability. Massive man, rare quickness for a man his size, can toss players off, and can handle double teams.
-
I would like to have some size at the LB spot. Smith is great but he is another undersized linebacker and we already have one of those. Edmunds could help cover tight ends.

You could say that about any of the QBs in this class. That's my point. None of them are good enough right now to be considered elite prospects that can start right away and easily succeed. This class is all about potential. As for Allen, he could be great or he could be nothing. We shall see. I'm not waiting for those types but I'm also not falsely listing the QBs in this class as elite prospects... -
What does everyone think of Tremaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech. He has seemed to jump up boards and some have him being taken before Smith. He's 6'5" and athletic. Looks like he could nail the combine. Is he really as good or better than Smith? Could he be the answer to covering tight ends like gronk?

Mason Rudolph has tiny hands

Ah thank you. Not surprised I mixed up the two. -

It may have something to do with him transferring. He played for Texas Tech in 2013 then sat out 2014 because of his transfer. -

Same here. This class is all about potential. They all need massive improvements. That's why Allen could end up being one of the top ones taken. He has the highest potential. -

Thank you. I didn't see where they announced that. -

It says Manziel's arrival is delayed. He will be at practice tomorrow. Is he trying to avoid measurement day because he won't measure out well? Rudolph is hurt and he still showed up to weigh-in and get his measurements taken...could be nothing but I just find the timing very interesting. -

These are certainly elite QB prospects. Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning were elite QB prospects. These guys aren't even close to that. They all come with a big risk, every last one of them -
Why Marrone and Hackett Still Suck
The Now Moment replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, I don't think this is the case. They were still throwing the ball down the field. They were throwing twenty plus yards down field. They had no creativity in their playcalling, especially on first down. It's not that they played not to lose. -
Would the Browns be a trade partner at #4?
The Now Moment replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think other teams wanting to trade up will drive up the price above what the actual value is -
Kiper Mock Draft: Josh Allen #1
The Now Moment replied to Jamie Muellers Ghost's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fair enough, I've watched a lot of his games this year and last year. He has the most potential in this class in my opinion. He would benefit to go into the right situation behind a veteran QB to learn. He's a very competitive guy who was the clear leader of his team. Had a great bowl game. Took Wyoming to their first bowl games in years. I hope he goes to a good situation, he could be the next big arm in the NFL -

How many fans here have actually watched more than one or two games or a handful of highlights from Allen? You look at the stats and go, wow he sucks. Jumping to conclusions based on stats is not a great way to scout a player or form an opinion of him. The kid has talent -
Never said he wasn't a better runner. He's just a lot smaller and can't take the hits that Cam does when he runs. He will need to add that weight
-
Actually he's more like 35-40 pounds lighter which is an enormous difference. Cam is a truck and Jackson is a thin mint. Not saying he can't be good
-
Too many people play Madden...this is the result

Give me a RG and a young developmental interior lineman to sit and learn from Wood and Incognito so he could potentially replace one of them. Do not make the mistake of pushing the offensive line to the back burner, it should be a high priority not the other way around. Great offensive lines make other players better

What's the price to move up and get our guy?
The Now Moment replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Allen may not make it past 3 if the Colts trade out. That'd be a risky move by the Browns -

You left out a lot of information here. It's not just the round but where the pick is. That is huge, especially considering where we are trying to trade up from. Those teams started a lot higher than we are starting. It will take even more in my opinion. Maybe 2018 1,1,2,3 and 2019 1,2,4. You must consider all of the other QB needy teams that will want to try to move up too. We will see. -
The only part of that picture that is similar is the lack of hair and that they are white. Daboll and Burr look nothing alike otherwise haha
-
Or they just look at the talent he was given to work with. Brady Quinn, Derek Anderson, Colt Mccoy, Matt Cassel and Matt Moore. Give him a decent QB and I bet he looks a lot better

Looks like he got too scared to come back. Holding a big time L on this one. 3 of the 4 playoff QBs left: Bortles, Keenum and Foles...picked the wrong year to make this point haha
