  1. It was after a kickoff. The only clock running was the play clock. They had their plan.
  2. McKenzie is the difference. I do not want to see him on the field. Having said that, I would have gone for a FG on that drive we turned it over on downs.
  3. McD uses the timeouts after he sees the offensive alignment. Then he changes the D. The offense will change the play, but he gets an idea about how aggressive the O is going to be.
  4. I do believe the Jets are better this year, but the Packers are just a bad team this year. They are bad in all 3 phases. Trading Adams was a big mistake.
  5. There was a reason Wallace was not resigned. He was horrid in that 4th qtr vs KC and was clearly out of position in those 13 seconds.
  6. I think we currently have 15 on the practice squad with these two...unless I missed something. Nope we are at 17. My spreadsheet formula didn't update.
  7. That was your first mistake.
  8. Accept Aikman keeps calling Jones, Frank Clark.
  9. They usually have 5 WRs active on game day. Hodgins is the 5th, replacing Crowder. Gentry up from PS could be just in case McKenzie can't go.
  10. Click on the down arrow to the right. That's what I did and it closed the box.
  11. And just like Maris...he did it the right way! This is the real record.
  12. Didn't the Bills get flagged for RTP today? Never mind. I just looked through the drives and they did not. The guy is still wrong though as it's not often Josh benefits from a late hit call.
  13. That's the difference in the game. Ravens got 10 points off of Bills turnovers.
  14. Bart Scott said this morning on First Take, that the players all do a baseline concussion test prior to the season. He said he made sure he did poorly on the baseline test so that he could easily pass it if he had to take it to rule out concussion. So the protocols can be manipulated. The players who watched the game all knew Tua was likely concussed last week. As Bart said, you don't shake your head getting up from a back injury.
  15. Thank you. I missed the entire context which makes a huge difference.
  16. I think he said it after the half. I'll have to watch the replay to see if I heard him right.
  17. Didn't Michaels relate that when McDaniel was talking to Tua as he was being carted off, Tua asked him what happened? Did anyone else catch that?
  18. Yes it was. Now that he's no longer playing, the Stanford guy is coming out.
  19. That was Richard Sherman...and yes he said it outloud.
  20. You go Richard Sherman!
  21. I lived in Erie for 28 years before moving back to WNY. The Colony used to have about 20 folks that would come for Bills games. I went a couple of times, but at that time smoking was allowed in bars and restaurants and I would feel physically ill from attending so I stopped going. It wouldn't surprise me that it became inactive over time.
  22. Alright...in previous years, McD has had them hydrating with water, pickle juice etc so they've been able to withstand the heat. Are you suggesting he didn't have them do that this year? It's also more than the temperature. Humidity and dew point make a huge difference.
  23. I don't know how you can prepare for 112 degree heat index. On a short week it likely wasn't feasible to go down early to get acclimated. When NE went down early it was the first game of the season...much more time to prepare. From what I heard from the players and coaches, none of them was using the weather as an excuse. They know they didn't make the plays when they needed to. Having said all this, with the higher temperatures this planet is experiencing, playing conditions this extreme...that can adversely affect player health...should be avoided. People die of heat exhaustion and heat stroke under lesser conditions.
