Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
jkeerie replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think there is anything going on other than Josh being "off." He is an emotional player. Whether it's sugar-high Josh, or angry Josh, when he lets his emotions get the better of him, he makes horrid mistakes. He was very angry at himself yesterday after that fumble on the goal-line...Tasker even mentioned it on One Bills Live. Jordan Palmer, Josh's QB guru, said last year, that Josh was playing better because he was in more control of his emotions. He didn't let himself get too high, or too low. This year, he's lost that...for whatever reason...the early season hype, off-field distractions, putting too much on this shoulders. He needs to get out of his own head and regain his composure. As Josh goes, the team goes. -
A Few Thoughts about the Vikings game, in no particular order
jkeerie replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks, Virgil. This was a measured objective critique of what occurred in the game. I also don't fault Josh on that first INT, although this is the second game where those 3 points would have proved valuable down the stretch had we kicked the FG. (We won the GB game anyway.) Your post was refreshing versus the flame-throwing we've been getting. I appreciate your taking the time to write it. -
And they have a stud RB in Barkley.
-
Shanahan will never learn. SF is ripping off big runs and moving the chains...then he switches to the pass on 3 straight plays and they have to punt.
-
And playing half the competition.
-
That's fair. Lewis did not knock the ball down. He's a backup for a reason. Josh's decisions and turnovers are concerning. He seems to be pressing.

We had these same complaints last year about Daboll when we went through that bad streak mid season and sat at 7-6 before winning our last 4. We are playing a much tougher schedule this year as well and we've had many more injuries to key players. It sucks when we lose...especially when that loss could have just as easily been a win. Still...as someone said earlier. We've lost 3 games to 3 teams with winning records by a total of 8 pts. One week at a time. Correct. And if the players don't do the correct thing is the coach or the player at fault?
-
The sporting world was correct when they said the only team that could beat the Bills is the Bills. Unfortunately, we're doing just that. The injuries on this team are maddening. But the dumb mistakes and self-inflicted wounds are even more maddening. We need to fix it and fast!

NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread
jkeerie replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was upset we didn't take the 3 for sure. That INT was on 4th down, though. There were no running lanes, so either way it would be a turnover on downs. I don't understand why we didn't take the 3 points. -
NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread

Bills made a ton of mistakes, but this team sustains injuries at the worst possible time this season. The whole complexion of this game changed when Edmunds went out with the groin injury. -
NFL Week @10 - Vikings at Bills - 2nd half game thread
jkeerie replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This D hasn't been the same since Edmunds left the game. -
Which may well be the case. None of those posting on the internet saw Josh's MRI, Xrays, or examined Josh's arm. They were posting opinions based on general knowledge regarding UCLs. I don't believe for a second, that the Bills would jeopardize their franchise QB for one game, if he were not able to play.

On to Minnesota (get this game in the rear view mirror!)
jkeerie replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
When Josh sat out in 2018, he came back much improved...not only physically but mentally. Watching from the sideline, was a positive. He's been off the last couple of games...like he wasn't completely seeing the field and then making stupid mistakes. Maybe watching from the sideline for a game or two will have another positive effect. -
On to Minnesota (get this game in the rear view mirror!)

I just saw this online. The weatherp pattern reminded me of the Bills logo. It's heading for Minnesota. A good omen? https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/winter-is-coming-first-blizzard-of-the-season-set-to-drop-snow-across-north-central-us/ar-AA13VAvT -
Exactly...that's what he did when they "sucked for Luck." Bit him in the arse, though, when Luck abruptly retired. So...already casting his current staff and players overboard in this move, itt would be fitting, if whoever they draft...Stroud, Young, etc...plays a season or two then decides to become a trappist monk.
-
Why are you being such an arse? You said I was "making ******up." My point was that I wasn't. Josh made that comment in an interview that was broadcast before the Green Bay game on Prime as he was discussing his admiration for Rodgers. Then I went onto to say that I did hear Josh's presser last night and heard what he said about the reason for the pick. So...I accepted your correction. Are we done here...or do you wish to continue with your criticism of my post which you have red-penciled enough?
-
No...you missed my point. I stand corrected after hearing Josh's presser that he didn't see the defender and that was the primary reason for the INT, but if you listen to that presser, Josh also said he "floated" the ball towards Knox. (If it had reached Knox, it would have been a low catch even looking at this video.) On the second INT, he said it was a brain fart.
-
First off...I'm not making what Josh said up. He did mention learning how to flip some throws like Aaron Rodgers does...adding to his repertoire. I listened to the presser on Bills tonight late last night and heard his explanation. He did sort of flip that throw, though, such that even if the defender wasn't there it would have been nowhere near Knox. He didn't get anything on that throw.

WEEK #9 - AROUND THE NFL GAMEDAY THREAD - NON BILLS
jkeerie replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't understand why Henry isn't being used more. They give him a carry on first down, then he's off the field.
