  1. I would agree and I would split McCoy out wide. Make him into a receiver.
  2. I agree. I saw that and wondered.
  3. He's concussed. Out for the game.
  4. Looks like the refs made their halftime adjustments. Not enough flags against the Bills.
  5. I love Thurman, but his interview? "It's the fans that make the fanbase." How profound.
  6. I was waiting for the flag just cuz it's Brady.
  7. That is a solid point. Without the "real" GM in place...and being McD's first year on the job and with Tyrod, I would wager that he simply wasn't ready to make that evaluation at the time. I can't really fault him...although I would have liked Watson. The selection of Peterman I don't think was a matter of drafting the QB of the future as much as bringing in a capable backup...albeit we really didn't accomplish even that. Then again that was not known at that time.
  8. How can you not absolutely LOVE Kyle Williams?!
  9. PI against Fins.
  10. Watching this game, I'm amazed at how well our defense played against the Texans.
  11. I was just commenting the other day that the Big Ten is very competitive this year. That's why teams like Illinois can beat Ohio State and Indiana can hang with Penn State. I'm a Penn State alum (in addition to UB and CMU), and I'm impressed with Michigan this year in the Big Ten. It's also terrific to see UB playing so well!
  12. But each of those teams...in addition to having effective passing games...also have quite effective running games. There was a reason why the Patriots drafted Sony MIchel. They knew that running the football is still important in this league. You certainly can't be one-dimensional and only think that running and stopping the run will win you football games. However, running and stopping the run is still an important element to winning. The Colts ran for 220 yards against the Bills. Luck threw for 150. Both those numbers were important to their victory. The Bills problem now is we're not executing anywhere. That's players and scheme.
  13. Not passing, but I believe they were in the top 5 running the football. Sort of like the Bills. OH....Never mind.?
  14. He was decent as OC in Denver with Kyle Orton and later Tim Tebow as his QB's. That's why he got the HC gig at San Diego.
  15. His offenses in Denver were really good when he was the OC there in 2008 and following. That was with Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow as his QB's. What the heck happened?
  16. Nice article BTW in the Bn Blitz. I didn't read the entire article but I enjoyed your metaphor.
  17. Why is anyone surprised? As much as we know McD isn't an offensive genius, he's not stupid either. Starting Peterman last year was a calculated risk. It failed. Objectively, Peterman did outplay every QB in the preseason and deserved to start. That failed. Yes, it can be argued that the QB situation was not handled the best during the preseason and thereafter. Anderson did say that the Bills had pursued him early in the off season, but he wasn't ready to commit. So...now he's here and we move forward.
  18. Oh of course it was a great throw...but the receiver made a solid catch. Benjamin would have bobbled it.
