  1. That article is dated. Pedersen is already gone from the Eagles. Siriani is there now.
  2. I love the NFL in general. After the Bills, I don't really root for any team, but I do root against some. Obviously teams in our division, teams with Tom Brady (although I did root for Tampa in the SB to knock off the Chiefs)...speaking of which, the Chiefs, the Titans (can't stand Vrabel), Cowboys. As to players...I am hoping that Darnold does well for the Panthers and that Zach Wilson falls flat. The Jets just did not do right by Darnold. I'm hoping it becomes evident this season.
  3. It all depends on Wentz. He's got the supporting cast with the Colts, though. We couldn't get to Rivers because his release was so quick. Wentz isn't the savvy vet Rivers is, but he certainly has all the tools.
  4. I'm just passing on what has been discussed twice now on OBL by folks that know a lot more about football than I do. I'm sure the Bills coaches would not put Williams in a position where he could not be successful.
  5. They talked about Brown today on OBL with Greg Cosell, who was quite high on him. Once again they talked about him winning the training camp battle and kicking Williams inside. I guess at the end of the day, the o line coaches will put the best 5 linemen out there this season. If they don't feel Williams can measure up at guard, we obviously won't see him there.
  6. Then what was Tasker thinking??? Thanks for the info.
  7. Williams played a lot at guard. They were talking about that today at OBL. Tasker mentioned he could easily kick inside.
  8. I agree with the OP. I think the starting 5 competition is going to be fun to watch. Charles Davis said today on OBL that prior to the draft, he expected Brown to start 10 games or more this year for his team. He tempered that in light of being drafted by the Bills who are returning their starters. Still, I expect this year's o line to be more athletic and physical.
  9. I saw that as well. The fact that 5 Oline coaches separately were polled by him and mentioned Brown as the one guy they'd love to coach spoke volumes. If Brown pushes for a starting job in camp, Williams could move inside to guard, then Feliciano could either move to the left or to center. I think we are going to have a strong o line this year. That could mean a more productive running game, as well as perhaps some tackle eligibles with Brown since he played TE.
  10. I do not want to trade any draft capital. We will need to build through the draft moving forward to manage the cap. Would prefer player for player since we have depth in a few areas now.
  11. Most of these guys lowered the Bills grade because we didn't draft a running back. In fact, if you didn't go in the direction they would have gone for your team, your draft grade was lowered. I think you could turn around and grade the egos of the respective draft graders via this chart.
  12. I've been watching the FCS championship playoffs on ESPN today and they discussed the 5 players drafted from the conference this year. The analyst thinks the Bills got a steal in Spencer Brown.
  13. So...only 4 undrafted from your board, Gunner? Bills nabbed one of them as a UDFA.
  14. Every team improves on paper at the draft. It's how it translates onto the field. Do the parts make a complete whole. Coaching and culture matter. There is also a bit of luck...staying healthy especially. The Bills need to be better than they were last year. Hopefully, that translates into more wins, and a deeper run in the playoffs. Let the games begin!
  15. I don't think the Bills liked him at OT. I do think they project him inside.
  16. They were. Outweighed and out physicaled.
  17. Looks like we traded it. Likely for a pick next year.
  18. Okay...you got me there. As I was typing my comment, I did think of that putting a damper on my point.
  19. I am aware that great players can be drafted very late or go undrafted. It's rare, though. So...who is your diamond in the rough?
  20. I felt so badly for him in the Super bowl when he came down to the sidelines late in the 4th expecting a win. Then Shanahan screwed the pooch and forgot he had a capable running back to run clock.
  21. I think we're set at TE. I expect them to keep 3 on the active roster. We have Knox, Sweeney and Hollister. We also have Gilliam and Becker. I know none of these guys are world beaters, but this late in the draft, do you really expect to find one?
  22. I actually think the AFCW and the AFCE will beat up on each other this year. The AFCN...it will be the Ravens and Browns competing. Steelers have more rebuilding to do than they are willing to acknowledge and Bengals are still a bit away. As to the AFCS...it will be Titans v Colts. Texans are a dumpster fire and Jags will be making it up as they go along.
  23. I'm aware. I am just hoping that the Bills have a vaster draft board from which to make solid selections.
  24. With all due respect, GunnerBill, I'm more concerned about the Bills draft board. It does bug you seeing all these solid players being drafted though, and I know you've done a great job in your draft preparation and educating many of us on this forum.
