Tasker said they're supposed to be 15 yds back so you are correct.

Tasker said today on One Bills Live that Hauck was not back far enough when he took the snap. He said punters are supposed to be farther back. When Hauck got the ball he also took two tiny steps and then two more. He was much too close to the line when he punted. It was schemed well by the Steelers, but if Hauck was back where he should have been, the Steelers would have had to lay out to block it. They didn't have to do that.

The last few years, the Bills have looked shaky early in the season offensively. I did not expect us to come out firing on all cylinders. The problem is this year we faced a good team in the opener with one of the best defenses in the league. The offense will come around. The good news is, the defense looked good. The officiating didn't help particularly on the PI calls. Ultimately, it was a special teams gaff that beat us. Also, none of the teams in the AFC east looked like world beaters. I expect McDermott will do some coaching this week and they'll look better next week.

Maybe this will quell the over-confidence and even arrogance of the fans. Too many penalties. Too many dropped balls. Pittsburgh D-line overwhelmed our O line. Bills have work to do.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom in 2018 and we so much enjoyed not only watching the Bills together, but also college football. This will be a tough day for you, I'm sure. Hopefully a Bills win will cushion the pain a bit. God Bless you!

I actually thought that our coordinators were distracted by their head coaching interviews. I thought our game plans both offensively and defensively were lacking in the playoffs, particularly that last game.
