  1. They can take their time activating him. Once they do, they have 21 days to put him on the active roster.
  2. Isn't he still on IR?
  3. Have to root for the Ravens next week. I looked at the Chargers schedule and it's pretty easy with all the chaos in the AFCW. Chargers are currently the number one seed followed by Ravens at 2 and Bills at 3. Chargers are 3-0 in the conference.
  4. I know when they showed the replay right after, it clearly looked like the knee was down before the ball was punched out. All the commentators agreed. Yes...that shot doesn't show his knee being down, but you also don't see Lamar's right hand still in control of the ball.
  5. Chargers play the Ravens on Sunday.
  6. Okay. The first one in the previous game, you are correct. But in this game Lamar's knee was clearly down before the fumble. It was the right call.
  7. How do you figure?
  8. He's playing not to lose.
  9. Lamar's no Josh Allen.
  10. Thank you for this. It's especially hard with my Mom as we lived together the last 3 and a half years of her life. I retired early so that I could become her caregiver. We enjoyed not only the Bills but also college ball. She loved Notre Dame but we would often switch to any close high scoring game to enjoy the drama. Overtime games were considered bonus football. My Dad when we would watch would rate the Bills QBs. We hadn't had a good one since Kelly. I was always more optimistic, but Dad would say "He doesn't have it, Sweetie." The first time I watched Josh play I looked to heaven and said "Pop...I think this guy's got it!"
  11. Fine. We'll catch up on our sleep from last night.
  12. This is so true. You get through most days okay...and then something triggers a memory and the sadness and emptiness resumes. I lost my Mom 3 years ago. My Dad has been gone 15 years. We enjoyed watching the games together. I talk outloud during the games as if they're in the room with me. I believe they're still watching. They have much better seats.
  13. Kyle Brandt predicted a Bills win 38 - 26.
  14. I was wondering the same thing.
  15. Many of us on this board have a few years on you. I've been a Bills fan since the days of Lou Saban. Each year I hope for the best but realize the worst is always a distinct possibility. Still I cheer. I take a realistic approach and try to maintain perspective. If the Bills win, I'm happy. If they lose, Mondays are a bit bluer. But life will go on and so will the Bills. In the meantime, I try not to rain on anyone's parade. If the Bills aren't invincible, neither is any other team. Enjoy your team. Enjoy the sport. And take the sage advice of SageAgainsttheMachine.
  16. The lady in the old Tide commercial would be calling them the "dingies."
  17. God I love Woods. What a clutch receiver!
  18. I just deleted my thread but I had pointed out the Hawks were wearing their dayglow unis.
  19. Okay I guess will post in this thread unless the Mods decide to merge them. Woods just made a nice catch. I agree. Wood needs to get his share of targets.
  20. Just started one.
  21. I agree, GunnerBill. Folks get triggered on this site and it gets not only childish but snippy. There are some folks that post and I question why they are on this forum except to criticize? We need to learn to "agree to disagree." I love the Bills, but I am also a fan of the NFL and appreciate good players and good plays. Mahomes, Herbert, Allen, Murray, Burrow are all good young quarterbacks. Each team got their guy...but it's the team that wins, not just one player. So... Go Bills!
  22. I think that was in response to ToF listing all the things that Herbert has done that Josh hasn't. So it's a bit of tit for tat. Prior to that, no one was dissing Herbert.
  23. Actually...no one was running Herbert down. Everyone agrees that Herbert is an outstanding young QB and is playing really well. This whole narrative started because of Schefter's comment putting Herbert in the Hall of Fame and the dismissal of Josh Allen as not being in the same conversation as Herbert or Mahomes. So folks were defending Josh. I think everyone of us can agree that the AFC especially has its share of outstanding young QBs that are collectively raising the bar for QB play. And then there is Kyler Murray in the NFC who is playing lights out right now.
  24. The play calls on 4th down have been solid.
  25. He spiked the first one on the Charger sideline so they called it taunting even though he wasn't even looking at the bench.
