  1. I think McKenzie makes a big impact on Special Teams.
  2. Loved Davis dancing after he caught the ball.
  3. I was shocked that Green Bay didn't re-sign him. I had just watched him in the GB v Dallas playoff game and he played lights out. I said at the time, I would love it if the Bills could get him. And we did!
  4. Chandler Jones is a good player I admit. Relatively speaking, compared to the mix we have now, I don't think he would make that huge a difference.
  5. Disagree. Chandler Jones would add little. We are at the point now that we are building through the draft. This D line has chemistry. Players are developing. I trust Beane and McDermott.
  6. I believe the game does start at 1 am.
  7. Ravens/Colts were on this afternoon. Chargers/Browns is on tomorrow at 8 pm.
  8. My Spectrum app is showing a rebroadcast at 9 pm on Friday...but the NFL can't be trusted to not change the schedule.
  9. If KC won that game would be in prime time. Bills always get early am slots when they win.
  10. They can take their time activating him. Once they do, they have 21 days to put him on the active roster.
  11. Isn't he still on IR?
  12. Have to root for the Ravens next week. I looked at the Chargers schedule and it's pretty easy with all the chaos in the AFCW. Chargers are currently the number one seed followed by Ravens at 2 and Bills at 3. Chargers are 3-0 in the conference.
  13. I know when they showed the replay right after, it clearly looked like the knee was down before the ball was punched out. All the commentators agreed. Yes...that shot doesn't show his knee being down, but you also don't see Lamar's right hand still in control of the ball.
  14. Chargers play the Ravens on Sunday.
  15. Okay. The first one in the previous game, you are correct. But in this game Lamar's knee was clearly down before the fumble. It was the right call.
  16. How do you figure?
  17. He's playing not to lose.
  18. Lamar's no Josh Allen.
  19. Thank you for this. It's especially hard with my Mom as we lived together the last 3 and a half years of her life. I retired early so that I could become her caregiver. We enjoyed not only the Bills but also college ball. She loved Notre Dame but we would often switch to any close high scoring game to enjoy the drama. Overtime games were considered bonus football. My Dad when we would watch would rate the Bills QBs. We hadn't had a good one since Kelly. I was always more optimistic, but Dad would say "He doesn't have it, Sweetie." The first time I watched Josh play I looked to heaven and said "Pop...I think this guy's got it!"
  20. Fine. We'll catch up on our sleep from last night.
  21. This is so true. You get through most days okay...and then something triggers a memory and the sadness and emptiness resumes. I lost my Mom 3 years ago. My Dad has been gone 15 years. We enjoyed watching the games together. I talk outloud during the games as if they're in the room with me. I believe they're still watching. They have much better seats.
  22. Kyle Brandt predicted a Bills win 38 - 26.
  23. I was wondering the same thing.
  24. Many of us on this board have a few years on you. I've been a Bills fan since the days of Lou Saban. Each year I hope for the best but realize the worst is always a distinct possibility. Still I cheer. I take a realistic approach and try to maintain perspective. If the Bills win, I'm happy. If they lose, Mondays are a bit bluer. But life will go on and so will the Bills. In the meantime, I try not to rain on anyone's parade. If the Bills aren't invincible, neither is any other team. Enjoy your team. Enjoy the sport. And take the sage advice of SageAgainsttheMachine.
  25. The lady in the old Tide commercial would be calling them the "dingies."
