Frazier a “Serious Candidate” for Texans HC gig.
jkeerie replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd be happy for Frazier, albeit I don't see Houston as a particularly stable organization. My other concern is that he'll raid the Bills staff for his assistants. -

I know they just interviewed Jim Caldwell. I don't understand how he doesn't get another chance. He's got an overall winning record in Indy and Detroit. -
How are you passing the time today?

NFL Network is rebroadcasting all the Divisional playoff games throughout the day. Naturally, the Bills v Ravens game is the last one...on at 2 am. They are even rebroadcasting highlights of the the GB v Steeler Superbowl in an earlier slot! smh -
Oh...I totally agree. I guess I'm just astonished that after the season the Bills had...going 13-3 against one of the toughest schedules in the league...how little respect the team gets on the whole. I also agree that it fuels the team even more...especially the defense. I guess they all have a preconceived notion of how the NFL is supposed to be, and the Bills success this year doesn't fit in with that narrative.

Just be prepared if the Bills win this game the talking heads will discuss not how the Bills won the game, but how KC lost. After the Ravens game I heard little complimentary about the Bills. All I heard was Lamar Jackson's shortcomings. In fact they even mentioned how the Ravens D held the Bills to only 10 points. Nothing was mentioned of how the Bills D held the Ravens to only 3. They mentioned how Tucker missed two FGs..."likely impacted by the wind." I guess when Bass missed his two kicks the winds were suddenly calmed.

Interesting Products on Dick’s Sporting Goods Website
jkeerie replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had a very bad experience with them years ago. I ordered a multi-game table online. They sent me a foosball table by mistake. The box it came in was torn up and falling apart such that the shipping company would not accept it when I tried to ship it back. When I called their customer service they would not help me in the least. When I asked to speak to a Supervisor, she was even worse and threatened to hang up on me. Basically I would need to repackage the item to ship it back to secure my refund even though it was their error. I ended the call with her: "Thank you for putting the d--k in Dick's Sporting Goods." -
Trying to be objective vs emotional...the way I see this game is straightforward. If the Bills play their best, we win. The one area that I give KC is at TE. Kelce is lightyears beyond Knox. That could be the difference. A QB is benefited greatly by his weapons. If we lose, I have no doubt that Beane will focus on our deficiencies, and seek to eliminate those next year. When we lost in Houston, Beane saw two great needs...the need to score more points which translated into Diggs. Also the need for a better kicker which does impact not only points, but the HC's decision making. He addressed both of those this past year's off-season. So...one way or the other...let's go Bills! (And BTW I'll likely be an emotional wreck come Sunday, so I may need to revisit this to regain my rationale.)

Eagles hiring Nick Sirianni as HC
jkeerie replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just posted this in the Coaching Carousel thread. -
Looks like Nick Siriani, OC of Colts, will be named HC of Philly. Leaves only the Texans job.

He's back. WR Jake Kumerow signing to practice squad.
jkeerie replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't assume. The Bills wanted to keep Kumerow on their PS but the Saints signed him. The Bills added Stills and Gentry for depth in the absence of Kumerow. Now that he is available again, it makes perfect sense for them to resign him. Remember, he also played on special teams. I suspect, Gentry will be the one let go when Kumerow is signed. -
I think Bienemy is their number one choice. That should make Watson feel valued. They can't officially announce anything until after KC is out of the playoffs. So the Bills need to do their part to facilitate that.

The running game has to be there vs KC this week.
jkeerie replied to Toyo321's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We moved the ball on Saturday with a balanced attack. You have to at least offer the threat of the run. That also opens up play action. I'd like to see Williams active in this game. A bigger back that hits the hole with quickness.
