  1. No one is saying Josh played well. He was off from the start. Your attributing his long attempts to his ego is where I disagree.
  2. Totally agree. I think we all expected a top 5 defense and were hoping for an incremental improvement on offense. Instead the defense fell apart and now our offense is in question.
  3. I don't think it had anything to do with Josh's ego. Our defense wasn't stopping them and he was trying to make a big play. KCs defenders made a good play on two of those long throws.
  4. That's an average. We got them to a number of third and longs. Then we gave up the first down.😔 We did not play well.
  5. Bills coaches: "Not if you stop them on third down or hold them to field goals."
  6. But they didn't do that. They didn't have to because at no point was our defense able to stop the gashing. No one is claiming our defense played well. The OP pointed out that the strategy of forcing KC to run the ball limited them to less than their usual 30 pts. A good defense would have been able to get off the field on third down and limit them even further.
  7. Totally agree. That's what I mean when I say our defense played horrid. They made KC run the football. Unfortunately it didn't stop until they were in the end zone. We had the right blueprint...just the wrong builders.
  8. He did...but they were short receptions. We kept our safeties deep to protect against the big play. That made KC have to sustain long drives. That strategy works if you can do likewise. We didn't. So instead of matching them TD for TD, we came up 9 pts short.
  9. No...when our offense is on the field we need to sustain drives and score touchdowns. We didn't do that part.
  10. Okay...we played horrid defensively...giving up a ton of yards. But it is true. We held KC to 26 points. Defensively we held Mahomes in check. He even said post game it doesn't matter how they win as long as they win. Unfortunately, our offense was off again and had it not been, we could have won the game.
  11. I think getting Feliciano back will help the offense. I don't think we have anyone on this team...that hasn't opted out that can help this d line.
  12. A few of us in this forum think he's hurt as well. You could see him wince as he tried to brace with his left arm as he was going down.
  13. Yes! I saw that, too! This team is more banged up than we think. Players are practicing. Some are playing...but they are playing hurt.
  14. Agree. I enjoy reading specific critiques. It's the "off with their heads posters" that are the most frustrating. Typically, you rarely hear from them except on game day after a loss. Quite honestly, I knew this defense was going to hurt us at some point this season. I also believed we'd be hard pressed to finish 10 - 6 with this schedule. I wasn't crazy about the decision not to re-sign Jordan Phillips even more so when Star opted out. We are not playing physically on defense at all except with committing stupid penalties out of bounds. We are definitely missing Feliciano on the o line. Hopefully his return will help the run game.
  15. He has not been right since he got dinged in the Raiders game. A couple times tonight when he went down and braced his fall with his left arm I thought I saw him wince.
  16. Another rational post. Thank you. We just lost to the SB champs by only 9 points playing absolutely horrendous football. We are not an elite team yet but I'm not ready to can anybody. The way some folks are talking, I'd be hard pressed to convince anyone this is a Bills fan forum.
  17. We had better personnel on defense last year. The changes made in the off season were not for the better.
  18. I agree but I'd change the order based on what I've watched this year: PITT TEN KC BAL
  19. The amazing thing is as terrible as our D has played they held KC to 26 points. Too bad our offense was off.
