  1. So...relatively speaking...Zimmer was good. 😟
  2. As I understand it, when players are elevated from the practice squad, they don't automatically get put on the 53. Because of covid, you are allowed two "free" PS calls ups each week to suit up for that game. The same player, though, can only be elevated twice...so you either keep them on the PS after the second call up or you can elevate them. I believe this was Zimmer's second call up, so they either had to elevate him to the permanent 53, or not be allowed to use him the rest of the season. If I am in error in my understanding of the rules, please someone correct me so I don't mislead others.
  3. I'll be surprised if we see him on Sunday. He was limping all game versus the Chiefs.
  4. Hate the all reds. My least favorite uniform. Look like long johns.
  5. Jets are getting healthier at wide receiver. We better find a pass rush.
  6. That's obviously a chance they're taking, but maybe they didn't want to expose the other guys to waivers and risk losing them, when clearly Spain didn't want to be here.
  7. Tasker brought up a good comparison on One Bills Live today. He mentioned how, in 2018, the Bills let Richie Incognito go, but after the move Wood announced his retirement due to injury. He said at that late date, there was nothing Buffalo could do about it as they thought they were going to be set on the o line. This year, Buffalo makes the decisions it makes regarding Philips and Lawson. They bring in Jefferson and Butler figuring they'd be ample replacements...and then Star, a big piece of their D line, decides to opt out. In hindsight, would the team have made the decisions they made knowing there would be a huge loss in continuity?
  8. This makes sense. If he wasn't going to start and if Feliciano comes off IR the Bills needed the roster spot.
  9. That's not as dramatic as the suppositions of most. Likely it's closer to the truth.
  10. That's the point. He didn't have to. He let CEH shred us instead. He said himself post game he was happy to let the O line and RBs do the work.
  11. First three plays: 1. Josh Allen incomplete short left to Cole Beasley. 2. JA incomplete short left to John Brown. 3. JA incomplete short left to John Brown. I don't get the "immediately try to throw a hail mary."
  12. No one is saying Josh played well. He was off from the start. Your attributing his long attempts to his ego is where I disagree.
  13. Totally agree. I think we all expected a top 5 defense and were hoping for an incremental improvement on offense. Instead the defense fell apart and now our offense is in question.
  14. I don't think it had anything to do with Josh's ego. Our defense wasn't stopping them and he was trying to make a big play. KCs defenders made a good play on two of those long throws.
  15. That's an average. We got them to a number of third and longs. Then we gave up the first down.😔 We did not play well.
  16. Bills coaches: "Not if you stop them on third down or hold them to field goals."
  17. But they didn't do that. They didn't have to because at no point was our defense able to stop the gashing. No one is claiming our defense played well. The OP pointed out that the strategy of forcing KC to run the ball limited them to less than their usual 30 pts. A good defense would have been able to get off the field on third down and limit them even further.
  18. Totally agree. That's what I mean when I say our defense played horrid. They made KC run the football. Unfortunately it didn't stop until they were in the end zone. We had the right blueprint...just the wrong builders.
  19. He did...but they were short receptions. We kept our safeties deep to protect against the big play. That made KC have to sustain long drives. That strategy works if you can do likewise. We didn't. So instead of matching them TD for TD, we came up 9 pts short.
  20. No...when our offense is on the field we need to sustain drives and score touchdowns. We didn't do that part.
  21. Okay...we played horrid defensively...giving up a ton of yards. But it is true. We held KC to 26 points. Defensively we held Mahomes in check. He even said post game it doesn't matter how they win as long as they win. Unfortunately, our offense was off again and had it not been, we could have won the game.
