  1. I get the potential thing and I won't be disappointed if we take Allen but I'm worried about the price to be paid for just "potential" a completely unproven raw athlete. And as far as arms go, jamarcus Russell had a huge arm.
  2. Rudolph is 6'5 230, Allen 6'5 230. Rudolph had 37 touchdowns against some of the top college talent there is. Allen's best was 28 playing against may be a handful of guys that might get drafted. Rudolph has played on the big stage. Rudolph gets dinged by alot of critics cuz he's not fast but he had 10 rushing tds, he's capable of pushing the pile on the goal line. Im not saying Allen isn't a better athlete cuz overall I think he is more gifted and yes maybe more potential but what I'm saying is I don't think the difference of Allen and Rudolph is worth all our 1st round picks and probably next year's. I think if Carson Wentz didn't light up the NFL and completely prove worth the price paid coming from a small school like Allen, I don't think Allen would be considered in a different "stratosphere" than Rudolph.
  3. I really don't see a huge gap between Allen and Rudolph. Other than Allen is the prototype build. But Rudolph has a heavy set frame that can handle hits and Rudolph is no stranger to prime time and has played against top college talent. I think if we have to trade up just to get Allen we should stay put and take him if he's there at 12 or take Rudolph at 12
  4. I wonder the same, makes me want to be in beanes head. He obviously wants to build but not selling out everything like the Rams to try for a super bowl. But he's building a franchise, and he has a GM's dream number of picks to do it with this draft not to mention the amount of talent that will slide cuz of all the QBs going early. Makes you wonder if he wants to sell this year and next year and still not get the top QB.
  5. Ya I don't really buy into the height thing, I think it's because you have darnold and Allen who have the frames that scouts idolize. I honestly don't see how everyone has Mayfield below Allen. Obviously Allen is a freak athlete, but I think if Wentz didn't turn out to be a great gamble coming from a small school then Allen is far below Mayfield in the draft.
  6. They have a rising star in change of pace back in Duke and they sign Hyde to 15 million. You think they would rather draft another back instead of getting at least another two 1st round picks from the bills, in a draft where some serious talent will drop in the late round? I mean it's possible it's the browns, but I'd trade the bills.
  7. Early this year I'd agree, but now that beane is obviously building the defense in FA. I think they are trading up to take a QB
  8. "if I was the browns I'd have the bills on the phone for that 4th pick" -Reggie Wayne. Browns signing Hyde could mean nothing but that they want roster depth or a rotation. Or one of two other possibilities, they know Barkley won't make it to #4 with the Giants in waiting or they have decided to take thier desired QB at #1 and looking to sell their #4 for a Kings ransom. A ransom the bills are the most capable of paying with all thier picks in the first 2 days of the draft. I think it's pretty obvious the bills are gonna go all in on a QB in the draft, and I think this is the trade at #4 that will happen.
  9. I highly doubt Allen is left at 12, the hype train is full speed on Allen. And I think cardinals trade up to take either one and niether gets past jets, depending on cousins of course.
  10. The eagles have all the power, they don't have to let him go for anything less than what they demand. It will all depend on where cousins goes and what teams do in the draft. I'd like to see foles come but I don't want to trade the kitchen sink for him
  11. No I don't think Eli looks hungry, honestly he looks a little off. But where he's at and his attitude works for him and the Giants (not this year) I'm thinking more of what the bills need, the team needs a leader that wants to be the best in the game. I think that mantality like Wentz, Brady, rottenburger, Brees ect. Lead teammates cuz they know thier qb is in it to win and work to be the best. As a Californian I've watched Rosen over the years, I've never really seen that from him. Not taking away from him as a QB I think he will be successful in the right place, I just think the bills need fire and leadership.
  12. I'm on the fence, he's proved in his history he can carry the rock all 4 quarters. He will be a solid compliment to shady, power with a dash of speed. Unlike Tolbert, who is slower than my grandmother. But I agree there's alot of younger faster fa rbs out there but god forbid shady goes down, ivory has proven to carry the rock. I have a feeling bills still trade up to draft a QB and draft rb late, ivory is just insurance if the bills swing and miss on a late round rb.
  13. Maybe it's just me but from seeing rosens interviews and the way he talks reminds me of Jay Cutler. Not comparing him as an athlete but just kinda the "I don't really give a sh#t, win or lose it's whatever" hopefully he's not like that but he definitely seems like the least hungry top qb I've seen interviewed.
  14. Id be prepared for it. I can easily see a trade for him. After Wentz proved taking a gamble on a small school QB can be a great idea. He's got a huge arm and is at home in the snow. Im sure beane has him in his sights.
  15. Not a Jackson hater, but I don't think he's the direction the bills go in. We have been using the dual threat QB and I think it's obvious the management wants to steer away from tyrod and his style. I'd be very surprised if they go with another dual threat, especially when I honestly think tyrod is arguably the most athletic qb in the NFL and I don't think you get much better scrambling/rushing out of a qb. I don't think management is willing to take the risk on a new and improved dual threat and have him bust when tyrod was already in the building. If the bills go for a QB it will be a big arm pocket passer, or Mayfield who has some quick feet.
  16. Totally agree, I see both sides. Me personally I think it's the worst ending to games. The defense plays tough D, then an offense with nothing to lose Chuck's it up and the D gets the call that hasn't been called all game and loses because a WR is a great actor. I hate seeing the receiver sell the PI more than he actually tried for the ball ( cough gronk cough). But at the same time you can't blame the receiver, do what you gotta do to win. I agree, they could change it. But it's pick your poison, dbs would rather tackle and take the 15 then get torched on national TV.
  17. I would love to see some speed at LB, and a run stuffer up front.
  18. Agreed, lack of speed at LB hurt us today
  19. Agreed, but I think it will be glaringly obvious how much better our offense will be if we get a qb that can hit actual routes and go through route progression. I'm excited.
  20. I don't think Dennison is terrible, I hated alot of the calls all season but he's trying to make lemonade with an apple. Tyrods skill set and Dennison haven't clicked all year
  21. Already excited about this off season, just made playoffs with a team that's just ahead of browns and colts talent wise. There's gonna be decent fa pocket passers available and promising draft class.
  22. Proud to be a bills fan, played the best defense I've seen since the broncos super bowl. Definitely could have won that but we proved we deserved to be in the wild card game and not a fluke. And on the bright side, hands down one of the most untalented teams in the NFL and we made it to the playoffs on heart and tough play.
  23. Ok tyrod please make me eat crow. Or at least do it for an over priced contract from the Jets or someone next year
