  1. Seriously one of my pod casts I listen too said 2 months ago "only Bill's fans would get excited about a qb that's not good at throwing the football" now the pod cast this morning "why are the Bill's pretending they won't start allen? Hes been balling out."
  2. Not "supposed" to smack you. In the process before he dives with his head down hes a runner and can get rocked. I'd rather him play it safe and have a long career
  3. I think we learned our lesson from last year having zero speed and agility behind shady on the roster.
  4. I like this, a lot of arguments about tyrod opening things up for shady cuz you had to respect both legs, but allen can scramble for 5 yards at any time but more importantly he can roll out on a play action and fire it 50 yards on the run. Defenses last year : contain shady contain tyrod, and challenge tyrod to pass. This year should be different. But someone please tell josh to SLIDE! Stop putting your head down!
  5. Our LBs are getting picked up by blockers like its their job
  6. More than anything I was happy with the confidence. Being doubted by most analysts and coming from a small school he could have easily went out and played super conservative on the big stage. But he went out with no fear throwing bombs.
  7. Agreed, I was expecting a rough night, and I'm an allen supporter. But my 2 favorite things I saw was confidence, and making things happen with his legs. I'm not a tyrod hater, but I never saw that look of confidence in his eyes that's hes gonna go out gun slingin , just my opinion. And as for Allen's legs, I dont want him running and getting hurt, but showed enough athleticism that defenses will have to respect him.
  8. Is it just me or is it only Bill's fans that want Allen to succeed. I mean obviously we want a franchise QB, but I feel like the entire NFL wants him to fail, even some analysts refer to him and start laughing like hes a joke. One podcast actually said " only Bill's fans would be excited about a qb that isn't good at throwing a football" and he got the lowest grade on pre season performance out of rookie QBs. Lamar looked lost and no confidence when it came to passing, but of course he looked awesome scrambling and everyone thinks hes the future of the ravens. I dont get it.
  9. So as an NFL coach and if you liked or disliked a QB prospect and you at least needed to see what he can do you would say "too bad this is the NFL, any given sunday" now go make your first start on the road against a good defense in the middle of a play off push for both teams? I'm not saying there was a perfect time to let him play but it was a terrible time to start a rookie and at least see what he has. And "THE CHARGERS DIDNT EVEN MAKE THE DAMN PLAYOFFS" they started Peterman against the 4th best pass defense in the NFL, also 43 sacks on the season. They were 9-7, they were a good team. I agree on not wanting him to see the feild last year, but McD didn't want tyrod for his system. He needed to find out if Peterman was the future, or go get Josh Allen in the draft.
  10. I like your point, I didn't think of it from a Dennison angle. But I feel like McD didn't want tyrod in there at all, from the offense he's building now McD wanted a pocket passer. I think he wanted to give Peterman a shot, he just gave him a shot at a terrible time.
  11. The bills didn't even step on the feild in LA that day
  12. I agree with alot of your points, I think if the defense doesn't get worse and have an actual passing attack this season could be fun to watch. But that O line.... I have my worries
  13. Ya probably my biggest worry this year, I'm optimistic about the upside of any of our QBs but none of that matters if the pocket collapses instantly.
  14. I don't think it's far fetched, obviously mcD saw something he really liked in Peterman and knows putting him in against one of the best D lines in the NFL on the road was a massive mistake and made Peterman the laughing stock of the NFL for a week and maybe damaged his future. McD might feel like he did him wrong and a hard working kid with a great attitude deserves a better shot.
  15. Lol my co worker is a huge raiders fan and was talking about all the jamarcus Russell hype from OTAs and how he couldn't wait for him to light up the NFL.
  16. The only reason I say we did get a little lucky was because after the travesty that took place on prime time against the jets. That team had no business even talking about playoffs. After that game I said we will miss the playoffs because of that loss. I kinda look at it as Dalton came in and wiped away that terrible game with a hail Mary.
  17. I don't think Hue was feeling the heat for his job as much last year, this year he's fighting for his life, he's gonna put in whoever and whatever it takes to win, and show a ray of hope on his process.
  18. I understand the worry with Allen but that's called drafting a QB in the NFL, pretty much a complete gamble. Wasn't the last sure thing in the draft at QB Andrew luck? And if he continues his career hampered by injuries and never comes close to a championship it could be argued he's a bust. We can't afford to not take chances and try to get by with decent journeyman. Allen lit up the combine, let's home he can keep it going. I have high hopes, but also expect the worst, cuz I'm a bills fan.
  19. Agreed, speed and height at LB is everything nowadays in the NFL.
  20. Love the fact that the saints gave away a #1 and we are getting arguably the best QB and lb and didn't give up next year's #1.
  21. Obviously it depends on where they go, but I feel if Lamar gets on the wrong team, gets asked to make magic with his feet too much he will get injured quickly and fizzle out. I get a feeling from Rosen kinda like tannehill or Cutler, not busts but not the answer either.
  22. Reading that list almost makes you wanna never draft a QB. Especially when we own one of the biggest busts on that list. And let's see what Watson and trubisky do this year, I'm not completely sold that they are the answer to thier teams problems.
  23. I'm not high on Rosen. No question of talent but I'm a California local, I don't think he's a fit for Buffalo. Even local news reporters here have talked to teammates that do not care for him and even past coaches that criticize him, he doesn't have that natural passion to be a leader . People think it's just cuz he speaks out about his opinions but from what I've seen and talked to people that have seen him on campus he will have a tough time leading an NFL lockeroom, let alone have the franchise hopes put in his hands.
  24. I think it's Wentz /Goff/Prescott/ Watson. It's been awhile since drafting QBs and it immediately changes your franchise. Since probably Wilson and luck. Alot of GM's watched the eagles sell out and gamble on Wentz and it might go down as thier greatest move in thier franchise. No team is gonna take the slightest chance at missing out on a Wentz or Watson this year. Especially the browns
