    Doing nothing to help allen get going. I'm all for airing it out but at least make the defense respect shady and take some heat off allen.

    Media last week - "Allen was a gamble being drafted that high, hes always had trouble with accuracy and decision making, his numbers were bad at Wyoming" Media today- "Always loved this kid, knew he was gonna be something special."

    Anyone not impressed with play calling on offense? I know it's not easy with a leaking o line but I'm not impressed.

    We making a call to dez? I'm not a huge dez fan, but the WR core was worse than I could have imagined, we need help.

    Allen is trying to do too much cuz no one is helping him. Honestly I thought it was going to be our O line that killed us but I think our WR core is killing us just as bad or worse.

    Game has been over for awhile, let allen release the cannon, take some chances, give him a little confidence before next week. Although It looks like the WR Corp gave up in the first quarter.

    What does McDermott do now? You cant keep peterman in if this continues, not saying it's all his fault but hes forcing McDermotts hand right now.

    This game is so bad the Baltimore fans would rather leave and get out of the rain then stay and watch this travesty. The stadium is empty.

    Agree, so far I like the direction we are headed. We can start addressing trenches in drafts. Start building, not chasing a franchise qb. (If allen works out obviously)

    I dont think we will be the worst team in the nfl like many are predicting, but the start of the season is gonna be tough.

    I wonder if attitude had anything to do with it, it's not like he was an all pro. If he had a bad attitude or work ethic just being decent at your job won't keep you on the team. Just speculation, punters dont get a lot of media head lines.

    I think making Elway the gm in the first place was a mistake, hes a God in Denver as a qb now you put him in a position that if he doesn't do good you might have to fire him. That's tough to fire a guy that's the hero of the franchise. With his enormous bust at Paxton, and being one of the worst teams last year, and the bizarre Joseph hire, any other gm would be gone.

    I agree, pretty obvious we needed to address the o line as well. But losing 2 keystone lineman all of sudden doesn't get fixed overnight in the nfl. But there were veteran options at QB. And its showing we needed more competition at QB.

    The way McCarron played tonight forced mcDs hand, even if he wanted to start the vet and save allen and peterman from becoming mashed potatoes behind the o line he cant. McCarron played as a decent nfl back up at best.

    I had mild hopes for Coleman, a guy that couldn't stand out at the browns... but at the same time who was throwing him the ball? I think he makes the roster unless his attitude and work ethic are terrible and McD sees it.
