  1. What does Vic Carucci know or any other Sports reporter. If you want the real deal, you go to Chadwick Bay Chad aka Dunkirk Don. He's been 100% right on everything he's ever posted. Whether it's on this site or any other place online. The man is a frickin walking world of knowledge. They don't make pedestals tall enough for him. Last night I prayed to God about a few things and God said..Don't ask me. Go ask Chad. So I'm asking Chad. Can you please and I mean pretty please go turn on your oven, open the door and stick your head in there for about 30 minutes.
  2. I would say what's going on provides similar feelings to just before the Bills got really good. I'm not saying we'll get that good again but somehow this does feel a whole lot different than the past 18 years. Did the Bills back into the playoffs with help from other teams? Sure they did but they made it just the same. If it wasn't the Bills, it would have been some other team and their fan base would have embraced it, so I do too. I also think that there's room for McDermott and Beane to grow in their jobs. They are both young and make some mistakes but they get most things right or at least they have so far. As fans, we sometimes want things faster than they can be provided. Patience is what's needed now with continued improvement. But we live in a world where everyone wants things done to their satisfaction yesterday, so we'll see if the fans and owner can be patient enough to let this thing simmer until it's really great. In the meantime, I for one am just going to enjoy the ride.
  3. Chudzinski would fit better because the Bills use that dumb ass train whistle. At least there could be a new chant...Chud a luck a chud a lucka chud a lucka Choo Choo! (Train whistle blasts instead of choo choo). To be chanted when Bills have a 3rd down and the fans want some ingenious play called by Chudzinski to get a 1st down. Yeah, I know it's stupid but it's the offseason. It's all I got on short notice.
  4. I always enjoy these but I wish they wouldn't put so much of John Murphy's broadcasting in the clips.
  5. I haven't read this entire thread but it seems to me that it might be difficult to provide the right kind of support for Dareus when you're a first year, first time HC and GM. So much on their plates. It takes so much time and effort being truly supportive and helpful to be successful with someone like Dareus. Remember, he's not only smoking a lot of weed which isn't that big a deal unless you play in the NFL, he's still very much trying to process all of the personal tragedy in his life, and he has to trust and respect the people trying to help him too. We don't know what was going through his mind and even if he would accept the support from McDermott or Beane..
  6. Now that's some top notch trolling entertainment right there. Bravo! The crowd roars and gives Simool a standing ovation.
  7. Bevell has said repeatedly it was his call and he wouldn't change it. Carroll has said he approved it: he liked the call just not the result. Interestingly, SI did a piece where they mentioned interviewing different coaches and QB and none of them would have called a run against the package NE put in. I wonder, though, how much of that is "professional courtesy", not wanting to dis off one of their own in the national media. I still think that call was a case of smart coaches overthinking and outsmarting themselves. Dance with the guy who brung ya. I don't know who did what. Who called what. Whose covering for who. All I know is Dennison, who I don't want to keep, calls an RPO that involves the pass play to Benjamin and a lot of people were P.O.'d because they thought a run should have been called. I know it was a RPO and ultimately it's Taylor who makes that decision but Dennison could have called for strictly a run play instead. Then you have Bevell who supposedly called a pass play when just about everyone thought a run should have been called. To my knowledge, that was not a RPO play. I'm just not sure if hiring Bevell is the right move if he's susceptible to making the same types of calls. I don't know all that much about his play calling abilities. Likely better than Dennison. It would be interesting to know if a better QB would have made the same decision. Taylor chose to go pass rather than run on the Benjamin end zone play but Shady was playing pretty damn good. Maybe he should have a try or two to punch it in.
  8. Did Bevell call the pass play against the Patriots in the Superbowl or did he call for Lynch to run the ball and was overridden by Carroll or did Wilson audible and change his call?
  9. You're missing the point. Roman wasn't a good fit for Tyrod and Dennison isn't either. Taylor has no good receivers to throw to and the O-line needs a big upgrade. Not to mention that Tyrod plays hurt a lot. I bet everyone would feel differently about him if he wasn't black. <Sarcasm> Yes my whole post was full of Sarcasm and your post was spot on! A replacement can't be in place soon enough!
  10. And to think there's actually a yard game with the same name and a whole generation of people that play it and have no idea that the word cornhole refers to something else.
  11. Taylor isn't the problem. It's the receivers. None of them have 10 foot long arms.
  12. I'm retired so I'll look forward to the draft, then get geared up for baseball season. I'll go camping 6-8 times this summer, make some stuff in my woodshop, go see some baseball games, and take each day as it comes.
  13. The best one was when Romo was doing the Patriot game and he gets overly excited and inadvertantly yells out "Throw it Throw it Throw it!" Taylor instead, scrambles around and is sacked.
  14. A 56 yard passing game, a 65 yard passing game, three 3 point total point performances and there's still people that support Taylor? Unbelievable!
  15. He would have had one but the robbery didn't go according to plan so he had to steal a 25. Number 1027820 wouldn't fit on a jersey
  16. Must be Chris Brown has a real soft spot just for TBD members. It's the only Bills forum he checked in on that I've seen. Everyone should feel so amazingly honored! Maybe he doesn't want to congratulate all Bills fans, just the members here.
  17. I was 0-2. I thought for sure both home teams would win.
  18. I don't know what his value will be but I'd bet the house it's nowhere near two first round picks! His value isn't now and never was!
  19. In order for that to happen, they would have had to been taping pregame practices for ten years after they were caught and imediately getting the defensive calls into Brady's helmet 10-15 seconds before the defense set up. I was just using that as an example that they could be cheating on multiple levels which help them be successful.
  20. Well - I'm saying it is a misconception. I believe fully they were good BECAUSE they cheated, and have benefited from it ever since (aside from likely (IMO) still cheating - Brady learning how to play the position of QB for years by knowing what the defense was before snapping the ball is an advantage unprecedented in sports history) To me, the biggest misconception regarding the Patriots is that they only cheat one way at a time. For instance, the Colts game and deflated balls. Once taken away, they still played great and won big. If Brady knew what the defense was going to do before snapping the ball as well then that's two ways of cheating within the same game and explains the blowout.
  21. I don't see how this case can be a federal case. The suit was probably handled in Colorado instead of Ohio because that was where the home office was for the company. I'm confident that your original response was spot on and well posted. You're probably right that it isn't a Federal case but it is very odd if the action causing a lawsuit occurred in Ohio and is then heard in Colorado. In any event, if a Judgement was granted in a Colorado Supreme Court, it would still have to be transcribed in Ohio where the action took place. Neither location is in New York State and the chance that it was also transcribed in a New York court is minuscule, so if it were me, I wouldn't hesitate to cross the border.
  22. If it was a Federal case then everything I posted could be incorrect. The Feds do things very differently than States do. I would have your Dad call an attorney that deals with U.S. Federal Civil law and see what he/she says about it.
  23. For what it's worth 1ManRaid, if you and/or Dad still has concerns, have him call whatever county the campground is in and ask for the Civil Office. They can tell him whether there is or isn't any case involving him. It's not going to put you at ease for tomorrow but it will for any future border crossings.
