  1. Would you prefer I start a new thread for each question I have like most people or put them all into one thread?
  2. In Allen's press Conference yesterday, I was a little shocked when he said words to the effect of Coach McDermott preaches ball security all the time and there were a couple of plays where it wasn't the most important thing to me. How can ball security not be the most important thing every time you touch the ball? Yes, interceptions and fumbles are going to happen because he's playing against other professionals that are really good football players but scrambling and running toward the sideline and then throwing the ball across your body toward a receiver that's surrounded by several defenders because ball security isn't high on the priority list is a problem. Running with the football not tucked away like Shady McCoy is a problem. Most will say he's young, he's a rookie, he'll learn not to do those things. But will he? Is this kid even coachable? Am I supposed to believe that no coach anywhere in all the years he's been playing QB, has even tried to teach him about ball security? He's hearing all this for the first time now in the NFL? Or is he just not learning the lessons being taught to him? Every week we hear about how his footwork needs to improve to make him more accurate and once again yesterday, I saw numerous plays where his front foot is pointing one direction and he's throwing the ball another direction. His footwork hasn't really improved so if he doesn't listen to the preaching about ball security, are we to believe he's listening to the coaches about his footwork or anything else for that matter? I'm not a Josh Allen hater by any means. I hope the kid becomes the franchise QB for the Bills everyone hopes for, but I do question how much his physical talents and being told how great he is for several years has impeded his ability to be coached up so he learns and becomes the best QB he can be.
  3. So you're saying the Bills (Millionaires and Billionaires) Value the task of shoveling snow for hours to be worth less than working at a fast food joint? You're making my point for me.
  4. You know that you’re not obligated to go there and shovel, right? I have no intention of going there to shovel snow. I'm neither close enough to the stadium or in need of the money. I wouldn't think of taking away an opportunity for someone who does need the money. But what bothers me is that you must think it's fine for a Billionaire to pay someone as little as $12 to do back breaking work and YoloinOhio finds it funny that I would find it Outrageous that these people are being taken advantage of by Billionaires or that you had a smart A** remark about my position. All I was saying was that I find it reprehensible to pay people so little to do a hard job. I'd like to know why taking advantage of people is acceptable?
  5. $12 an hour and a nose bleed section ticket and some pizza to shovel snow? Are you kidding me? I get that there are a lot of people out of work that will jump at the chance to make some cash but what a slap in the face. You can make more money flippin burgers! $12 an hour so multi-millionaires can play a game and get paid by multi-billionaires? Give me a frickin break. Pay them at least $25 an hour and give them a decent seat for the game. It's really too bad that these Billionaires dangle a little carrot out in front of people who really need the money to get cheap labor. Why don't they do something decent for these people. Surprise them with a $1,000.00 check with a memo that says "Happy Holidays". $12 an hour. What a joke!
  6. OP, I fully understand your thought process on this. Actually, I was with Kevin Costner at last Sunday's game in Miami and we just sat there with our eyes bulged out every time the Joshster (that's what I call him because we've become so close) touched the football. Then Kevin turned to me and said...Rob, is this heaven? I just calmly said..No, Kevin, this is Miami but that guy down there wearing number 17 is Jesus and we had a catch just the other day.
  7. If the Bills were one or two players away from seriously contending for a championship then yeah, go get Julio at age 30. If you're the current Bills in need of a lot of pieces with several current players still learning, then NO! He would have no interest in coming to Buffalo. Much better off either drafting a No. 1 receiver and let him grow with the current team or go after someone around age 25 where he could potentially be a Bill for 10 years.
  8. You know who had career completion percentages of 60.1%, 59.4% and 56.9% respectively? Jim Kelly, Dan Marino and John Elway. Three Gold Jackets with accuracy issues. It's not important if you have other skills that help your team win games. They all had those traits and so does Josh Allen. I'm not saying to fit him for a Gold Jacket but Judas Priest, he's 7 games into his career. Give the kid some slack!
  9. I wouldn't say he's done. He's still able to do some things but he's not close to what he was in his prime. What bothers me about him though is how easy he goes down. Sometimes he's barely touched and he falls down.
  10. Allen's completion percentage is 52.9 %. If Benjamin and Clay caught even half of the balls they dropped it would be 66.5% Allen's accuracy is fine.
  11. I think what you'll hear out of Williams is similar to last year. He wants to take some time, talk things over with his family etc. etc. I think ultimately it comes down to whether he thinks the team is going to be a contender in 2019. He certainly will have the ability. Whether he has the desire we have to wait and see. I don't think he gives much thought to his future during the course of a season. I think if he felt this was his last year, we would have already heard rumblings about it. Alexander has already said on One Bills Live that he would like to play another two years and would like to stay with the Bills but he understands it's a business and he'll address his situation in the off season. Personally, I think Beane and McDermott would like to have both players back on deals that work for both sides. It affords them the opportunity to be able to focus on other areas of need. I share this thought process. There are plenty of areas that need to be addressed in Free Agency and the Draft. Why add two more positions to the mix.
  12. After I posted this thread, I found information on Bills Backer bars and saw http://www.brevardbillsbackers.com I'll go there most likely for most games but if I just don't feel like going somewhere, it would be nice to watch from the comfort of my 5th wheel. It looks like that bar will be less than 15 minutes from where I'll be staying.
  13. We're going to be snowbirds next year in the Cocoa Beach Florida area and don't want to miss the Bills games. I know about DTV and NFL Sunday ticket but is there any other way to see all 16 games? Finding a Bills backer bar may not be easy so having a sure fire way to watch the games would be ideal. Anyone know how?
  14. I think your conlusion based on one half of football is flawed. We disagree on this but I respect your opinion
  15. He took play calling for one half. Frazier has been calling the defense since. Yes I know. That's why I said he did it temporarily. Regardless, he did it right? So he showed he is a Defensive Coordinator playing Head Coach.
  16. I think a Defensive minded Head Coach can succeed in today's NFL but he has to really be a Head Coach! The minute McDermott took over play calling for Frazier even if it was temporary, He let everyone know he was a Defensive Coordinator playing Head Coach. If you want the promotion from DC to HC and are fortunate enough to get that opportunity, then do the job of HC. Be the administrator of your coaches. Hire the coordinators to implement your scheme and your vision and let them do the job you hired them to do. Never do their job for them. If they can't or won't do the job to your liking, fire them and get someone who will.
  17. He was holding his arm. Are you saying you've never heard of a concussed Elbow?
  18. Because these types of things are allowed to go on, you're witnessing the slow death of this board and others like it. Eventually people who enjoyed using forums like this will get fed up with the nonsense and stop using it. Then all that will be left is the nonsense. Then the owner of the board will get fed up and close it down. This board won't be the first or the last to have that happen.
  19. The greats don't allow that nonsense to affect them. The mental fortitude to either use negative attention as fuel or dismiss it entirely is what separates them from the pack. Those that would be "devastated" probably didn't have the mental make-up to be great to begin with. Life is not fair. That's a lesson everyone should learn at a young age. Like politics, professional sports is not for the faint of heart. Not just the Media with Politics and Professional Sports anymore. Anyone can be targeted these days on Social Media. I knew a young woman who innocently started dating a guy who had broken up with a psycho. The psycho girl was relentless in her bashing this young lady to the point that she deleted all of her social media accounts and moved out of the area. She couldn't handle all of the threats and being defamed for no reason. She didn't even know this other girl and her life was being ruined. Even though the psycho girl got arrested for harassment and there was an order of protection put in place, it didn't stop her at all. You aren't going to stop crazy! If you ask me, social media has more negatives than what it's worth to have an account on any of the platforms.
  20. To answer the OP's original question, the stadium will remain New Era Field through the end of the current stadium lease. Even if New Era completely left the Buffalo area, it would still have the stadium name. They already paid for those rights and the contract runs through 2022 when the current lease ends. Then they have the right of first refusal in regards to a new naming rights agreement or ending it.
  21. I bet you can't wait for your upcoming 13th birthday. It's an exciting time in a young man's life to become a Teenager!
  22. The OP believes posts like these are nonsense. Please stay on topic or he will attack Yeah, there is that The OP wishes you would stay on topic
  23. This thread was about NFL stadiums, design and architecture, it's not a goddamn debate about whether a new stadium will get built or not. It's a hypothetical, which NFL stadium would you like in a Buffalo? Simple. And I do think a new stadium gets built, the NFL definitely wants it, our current stadium is ancient. Pegs is playing hardball, I think he wants one too but it's all about the bottom line. It's nothing more than fronting and politics, it'll get done. Valium or Xanax would be a good option for you. To get this upset over an internet post about a sports team and stadium is disturbing. I'm not going to hear about you on the news am I?
  24. Yeah, wanting a new stadium in Buffalo makes me a Zero. We could always stay at New Era field until the stadium falls apart we get moved, that'd make me a real winner then. No. We all want a new stadium. What makes you a zero is posting on an internet forum and then getting upset because a reply doesn't fit your desires. If you want nothing but responses that fit your idea of a proper response, then you should start your own forum, make it private and provide rules to your membership that if someone makes a post that you don't like, you will blow a gasket. You really need to lighten up. It's the Internet!
