  1. I barely even remembered to turn on the game, honestly. It was the least interesting Superbowl I can ever remember.
  2. So you think that religion had something to do with the Bills going 9-7? I don't quite understand the connection.
  3. The Chiefs scored 9 points. I think most offenses in the league could have mustered more than that, so yeah, I think that's accurate. But I'm not sure how many offenses or QB's would have put up that many points. Only a few offenses would have done that.
  4. Yep. Has to be one of the most lopsided Superbowls in a long time. Similar to that Broncos Peyton Manning Superbowl a few years back when they had like the best offense in NFL history and got shellacked in the Superbowl.
  5. Only recently. He used to talk trash about Josh Allen. He was firmly in the "I don't think you can develop accuracy and Allen won't improve" crowd, but always left himself an out by saying something like "but maybe I'm wrong and he will progress". He also predicted that the Chiefs would go undefeated and the Bills would only win like 6 games a couple seasons ago. The Bills won 10 games and the Chiefs lost 4 games, although they did go on to win the Superbowl. His reason for doubting the Bills was his lack of belief in Allen. He only came around to Allen slightly faster than most non-Bills fans.
  6. I like the analysis. Obviously, it isn't an apples to apples comparison. The Chiefs had a capable QB that they continued to build around and try to win with. The Bills had Tyrod Taylor who was one of the worst starting QB's in the NFL. The Chiefs could look for a new QB at a leisurely pace while building the rest of their team. The Bills needed to find a QB as quickly as possible. Mahomes stepped in with a very good squad around him that had been built up over the past few years under Reid. Allen stepped in to a terrible squad devoid of talent on offense, albeit with a good, overachieving defense. But it is interesting to see that Reid has been working towards this for a long time. Let's hope that McDermott and Beane can produce a Superbowl winning squad in the next couple of years.
  7. Do they usually do divisional games in that slot? I could see Dallas, but Dallas sucks. The Bills would have some nice interest around the league, I think.
  8. Maybe opening week. Man would it be awesome to beat the champs opening week and signal to the rest of the NFL that the Bills are hellbent on getting to the Superbowl.
  9. What a sickening thought.
  10. They all looked legitimate to me.
  11. I think it should have been Fournette.
  12. He doesn't need to be the best QB in the league. That would be great, for sure, but if he can maintain top 5, that's good enough to win some Superbowls. Aaron Rodgers has been one of the best, if not THE best, QB's in the league for much of his career. He almost never makes it to the Superbowl.
  13. He is too old...
  14. I actually went into the game planning on rooting against Tom Brady, but found myself rooting against the Chiefs against my better judgement. Not happy to see Brady with another ring, but I'm also not broken up to see the Chiefs taken down so badly.
  15. I mean, he was running behind the receiver and his incidental contact was with the receiver's feet, causing the receiver to trip. It doesn't really matter if he meant it. He tripped the receiver. The only thing that can be brought up is whether or not the ball was catchable, because it was quite a bit overthrown, if I recall.
  16. Absolutely, and it is frustrating that the Bills don't have enough clout to get those calls from the refs, because the same thing happened all game long against the Bills. But I guess Brady is still the top dog in the mind of the refs.
  17. Maybe Darnold will be holding a clip board for him...
  18. Ok. I guess it was opening kickoff then, for me.
  19. They got beat on all phases, though. Penalties only played a small part. Their offense only scored 9 points.
  20. Sign him in the off season. Gauarenteed Superbowl.
  21. It had Jeeps every few seconds. Subliminal advertising. And then obviously at the end there was plenty to Jeep advertising. I just don't like the double agenda. Call for unity and all that if you want, but don't try to sell me a Jeep at the same time.
  22. After that blood bath, no. I do not think the Bills would have won it. And I agree about the officiating. They decided to call those calls when the Chiefs are facing Brady, but let everything slide. Sea to me like the NFL wanted a Brady vs Mahomes Superbowl. That being said, the Bills did not lose that game because of officiating. Kelce and Hill murdered them.
  23. You liked the Jeep one? I thought it was pretty lame. Like, if you want to preach to us don't try to sell us Jeeps at the same time.
  24. Clowney did nothing in his 8 games he played this year. He is not the answer.
