Dalton Kincaid/Keon Coleman.....over/under 119.5 combined receptions???
MJS replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Under. Maybe they can get over 100, but I don't see 120. -
Predict Most improved/Most likely to regress
MJS replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Most improved: Dalton Kincaid. He'll be the next Bills player to put everything together in his 3rd season. Regressed: Daquon Jones. He has already shown it, and I think he continues to until other players get a lot more playing time than him. -
I mean, should we pull up a random play where Mahomes missed a receiver? Every QB has those.

Brees did throw it a TON. So his touches are probably super high.

Can fireworks cause superficial eye injuries? Ask Najee Harris
MJS replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nothing good EVER happens after midnight. NFL players should make it a rule to be home by 11:59 at the latest. That would keep 95% of them out of trouble. -

It makes it sound like some city sanctioned event or something until you read that it was after midnight in the street, so it was just him and some buddies being irresponsible, which is how all firework injuries happen. -
All Draught Team Bills vs the 2025 Bills
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Current Bills for sure. QB is everything in the NFL. Way better coaches now, too. -
Alternate helmet to be revealed July 22, per Buffalo Rumblings “source”

A short and husky Josh Allen? -
He'd be even more in the lead, I'd bet.

Anyone who thinks it does is just a conspiracy theorist.

Wow, Tony Romo that high is surprising. I know he was a good QB, but being in that elite tier is interesting.

The least paid players have the least sway over the NFLPA, and that's just how it is always going to be. Increasing salary minimums actually takes money from the higher paid players. So, it isn't that it is players versus the NFL all the time, it is actually players versus players in different economic classes that is the reality. And yeah, players who make more money have more power and more sway. Veterans take precedence over non-veterans as well. This isn't just an NFL vs NFLPA thing.

The impact of the refs is really overblown. They do fine most of the time. Sometimes they blow a call or miss something. Those times suck, and sometimes they really do impact the outcome, but I don't believe it is intentional and often those calls are closer than a lot of biased fans want to admit. And sometimes the fans just don't know the actual rules and are calling for flags on perfectly legal plays (such as holding by the offensive line in certain situations). All that being said, I don't think the refs actually try to help the Chiefs, at least not consciously. It is impossible to eliminate bias, though, and that can creep in from time to time. But there is no larger conspiracy.

I do think that it usually comes down to money. Both the NFL and NFLPA are focused on money for themselves and their stakeholders. And since the NFL is such a money making machine, they can actually be aligned a good deal of the time. They don't always have to be at each other's throats on every issue. It's ok if they are aligned much of the time. When they aren't, it just kind of sucks for everyone. But yes, the nature of it is that they are going to be opposed some of the time, by design.
-
None of that seems like that big of a deal to me, but I don't really care what the NFL or NFLPA does. Until it has a direct impact on my ability to watch Bills football, they can do all their squabbling and legal posturing they want. I'm just a football fan.

Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
MJS replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really. The drought was pretty much all I knew. I was too young during the superbowl years. So, I didn't know any better. -
I think Hamlin makes it over Forrest just from the fact he knows the system already. However, if Cole Bishop isn't ready to start, I could see then keeping Forrest because I think he would be a better starter. But it could really go either way. I don't actually think Cam Lewis is a lock this year, though. His guarantees aren't much, so it wouldn't be too much of a hit if he didn't make the team. Hamlin, however, has a much higher cap hit if cut. Cam Lewis is in competition with Jordan Hancock, though.

Tom Brady had a dad bod early on as well. Look at his infamous combine photo. He didn't get into the crazy nutrition and body stuff until later in his career.

QB is not a position you need to be in peak physical form for. Ben Roethlisberger was fat and still slinging it all over the place. In fact, a little weight does you good. It helps you take the hits and makes it harder to get you down. As long as you don't go full JaMarcus Russell, you'll be fine.

Commanders bringing back their Super Bowl era throwbacks
MJS replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I might be in the minority, but I think those throwbacks suck. I never liked the Redskins look. -
I'll go with Keon Coleman. He could have a good year and I think fans are pretty down on him. On defense I'll choose Taylor Rapp. I think he is a lot better than fans think. Many have been critical of his friendly fire, but he made a lot of key plays last year.

Ok. I was prepared to be annoyed, but this one actually worked out. The Bills have a legitimately good oline.

Ranking NFL WR, TE, RB groups for 2025: Bills 28/32?
MJS replied to Lionel Hutz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Completely agree. That's how I see it. The ranking is really just a WR ranking except for the teams that he wanted to talk up a TE or RB. -

MJS replied to Lionel Hutz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook easily over any back they have. Kelce is basically retired already and plays every down looking like and old, tired man. I'll take Kincaid and his youth and upside over Kelce at this point. Their WRs aren't anything to write home about. They are fine. Better than the Bills, but not anywhere close to the top of the league.
