  1. I feel like almost every team's fanbase thinks they're getting Matt Araiza
  2. Josh was amazing and fearless. I can’t watch it again but the positive is obviously that if anyone questioned before if he’s the guy…that was answered roundly. The negative being that he’s going to have to be great enough to win it in spite of McD gagging away these big games.
  3. Paragraphs, bro. Im not a McDermott fan at all and firmly believe he blew a Super Bowl for us…but no, players are still going to want to play on #17’s team. The power of a legit franchise QB is real.
  4. LA's really passionate about the Lakers...that's about it.
  5. He's not wrong. With a better head coach, it was there for the taking for us. Could have been the easiest road we'll have ever had.
  6. Especially as he gets more experience. I think he was a little timid/quiet when he was on the Manningcast thing but I would bet he’ll be more himself the next time he’s on it.
  7. No. Have you watched #17 play?
  8. I agree. He cost Josh a Superbowl. It’ll be tough to ever forget that.
  9. You do know it’s McD’s D and team don’t you? That’s where the accountability should lie.
  10. Well if that’s your standard, of course you’re fine with just about anything
  11. Makes me dislike McD that much more.
  12. This is so painful to watch. We would’ve had a great shot at beating either team. If only McD hadn’t gagged away our season.
  13. How does Gase keep doing this? It does make me feel like siding more with Brian Flores. This guy is a horrific coach and just keeps landing good jobs.
  14. Agreed. It’s a tougher pill to swallow for me knowing McD blew that game, especially after watching 17 leave his blood, sweat, and tears out there. That just should not happen. I hope so with McD, but I’m not as encouraged as you. He was also horrible in last years AFC championship game and had a year to let that marinate and we still saw him bungle it this year. Exactly. That wasn’t asking Bass to do something foreign. He’s right about the D, wrong about the kickoff as he probably just doesn’t have that familiarity with what we did all season.
  15. Yup, that's what we're stuck with for now. I just wonder what the people who say he's still learning the job think of a guy like Zac Taylor that doesn't need over 5 years of head coaching experience to understand how to make quality in-game decisions.
  16. This is truth. If you watched that game, you could see the Bengals coaches were prepared and calm, and even enjoying those big moments. McDeerInTheHeadlights is lost when things get real.
  17. They have a competent head coach.
  18. Allen's there. The problem is McD isn't on his level.
  19. McD is going on year 6 to grasp in-game decision making and build a D that can get any kind of stop late in a game, including basically building this team to beat KC and hasn’t. Zac Taylor and the Bengals just did it in 3. Congrats to them.
  20. Why doesn’t Zac Taylor have to “learn and grow” from bumbling away a close game? He looks confident and like he’s having fun while McD looks like a deer in headlights in those moments.
  21. I hope Josh does something cooler than insurance. But I get it, those companies have big dollars to spend on ads. Maybe they’d have a little laugh about this too, like a Geico dude showing them how fast an app can give them an estimate and he says something like “you did all of that in 13 seconds???” Or maybe it’s too soon.
  22. It's McD's D. Frazier is an extension of him. It's the strangest thing to me that people want McD to stay and for Frazier to go, as if that's going to make some kind of massive impact.
  23. Wheres his holding highlights? I’ve been told here that’s much more important than punting abilities
  24. Everyone knows McD blew it
  25. Spoiler alert: We will have injuries next season too. And the year after that. And the years after that. Every team does.
