  1. I'm fine with the trade but that's pretty unfair to call him a boat anchor. He was one of our best WR's ever. But it was probably time. The real dead weight boat anchor is McDermott and we kept him.
  2. Haha I remember watching some episodes of that show and not realizing we were supposed to like Ted. That dude would cheat on women but let himself off the hook because he's on his journey to find "the one" and conflated himself as being this great guy that's just so unlucky that he can't find her. At least Barney knew and admitted exactly who he was. If anyone cares about my rant on a show that's like 15 years old or something in a thread about trading one of our best WR's ever.
  3. Right, there's such a huge double-standard there. Like what about McD's horrific postseason chokejobs? I'm not upset about the trade...but we would've been better off if we traded Diggs and fired McD.
  4. If a counselor looked at it objectively, they'd say the McD detractors are of clear mind and and the McD supporters are irrational. The "Frazier called the plays" excuse is far and away the worst one out there. McDermott is the Head Coach. If he doesn't like the way they are set up or what's being called, HE CAN CHANGE IT! People like yourself act like he was on the sidelines thinking "I really hate what we're doing here, but there's just absolutely nothing I can do. I'm just completely helpless to help the team or another coach". It's mind-boggling that you guys think this way.
  5. Vontae Davis for the score, I can’t take it anymore 🙁 I still think of that every time I hear “We didn’t start the fire”
  6. I like Beane but I don’t know if I’d call him one of the best. Obviously he hit big on 17 and Josh has masked a lot of his other shortcomings. Ultimately with an elite QB, which he did bring in to his credit, we haven’t won anything and have had 3 straight division round exits…the expectation should really be there to better than just stagnant. But as with McD, I don’t think that exists. If we have a 4th straight early exit disappointment, I think we’ll probably see the same level of support.
  7. Except for Rex Ryan, we're not very good at "not letting the guy out of the building"
  8. This is honestly probably the best way to describe the McDermott era
  9. Got the mobile alert from the Bills that we signed a "2-time Superbowl champion". This was the first guy I thought of.
  10. I just want the debates back on how many 1st rounders we actually gave up for him. Some of my most fond memories on this board.
  11. If Mahomes was saddled with McD, I don’t think he’d have a SB. He’s just too big of an obstacle.
  12. I wouldn’t recommend the Politics forum either, it’s so toxic. Half the people there probably won’t comment on this because of which side the Governor is on (it would likely be the same if it was reversed) when it obviously shouldn’t matter. Wrong is wrong.
  13. Ridiculous. I feel terrible for the family with the daughter with medical issues. This governor is pure trash.
  14. He played for the Panthers though, so whether he's a good fit for the team or not, that alone places him at the top of our organization's list
  15. We’re unfortunately going to see some bad players get big playing time here next season. Beane kind of cornered us into this.
  16. McClappy lost to “Pey-A-ton” and that mess of a team at home because he can’t be bothered to count anymore either
  17. What? Weren't you one of the clowns who said DeSantis was going to win the primary? My bad if not, you and a couple of other people sound like the exact same person.
  18. Forward progress isn't even really a standard here though, let alone significant. We've had 3 straight Division Round exits in a row and half the fanbase wants him back. He's got it made here, he doesn't have to do or show anything more.
  19. Basically he's content. He thinks it's an accomplishment to just do what we have, and if we do win the Superbowl, great. It's a big problem that he doesn't see this, especially 3 division round losses in a row with a top 3 QB, as a massive failure.
  20. It would be amazing if Josh had a coach like Shanahan
  21. Ahh ok. I thought this was another McD apologetics session. My bad.
  22. One? You do realize we’ve been bounced in the Divisional 3 years in a row right?
  23. I normally kind of like Glenn but he’s so biased here because it’s his buddy Tucker…which is exactly the kind of thing he himself rails against. I saw he mentioned that journalists won’t even press Biden on Assange and Snowden as a comp to this…a sentiment I agree with…but Tucker doesn’t even do that with Trump when Trump had a huge opportunity to pardon either one of them. Nobody wants to call out their friends and it strips credibility from all of them.
