McManus Accused of sexual assault
RoyBatty is alive replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
interesting, actually no highly predictable reactions to the story everything like the accused looks weird, to i totally believe them to they are just in it for the $. i have no opinion either way. i wonder if they allow alcohol on the flight, not a good mixture if they do .. long time away from girlfriends/wives, hours long flight. i can only imagine what the Bills “got away with” in the Kelly era. they would drink hard on the flights. -
totally unrelated question, Read the story about Joe Andrreesen from Lancastet getting a hat on h the bills, story said he could be the second Lancaster Legend to lay in the NFL. who was the first?

Hero worship, why because i haven’t joined the angry mob because Diggs is gone? acting like a scorned lover, Diggs has really set you off? i am glad i don’t have all this anger And vitriol about an ex Bill.

If these is true all the preceding over the top hysterical over-reactions are a nearly moot point. Fact is posters here WANT it to be true.

Buffalo Bills Fantasy Football Auction Values
RoyBatty is alive replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not much of a fantasy football player but I would be all over Keon Coleman, especially at $1. I dont know what 0 or 1.0 PPR means Colean is a potential TD machine, big bodied, contested catch winner, tall, basketball experience catchings, he could easily develop into a to go to players deop in the redzone. Imagine short safteies of CBs trying to defend him. -
Right about one thing, it was a snarky post but the rest of it is ridiculous. You appear to have this agenda that the Bills have lost so many players they have little left. No the "English guy" was not drafted because they need players to "play NOW". If we drafted him to "play NOW" we would not have drafted a guy that has never played football. He doesn't count against the 53 man roster and we can carry him "risk free" for a while as he learns the game/ I thought it was an excellent risk adjusted gamble with very little downside but he is huge, fast and seems excited to play football.

Agreed but I have to temper my enthusiasm, it is about this time every year I read all the hype and think we had a killer draft until reality sets in. For example Dorian Williams and Nick Broeker along with free agent Richard Gouraige I thought were real steals in the 2023 draft and none of them really showed much although we essentially got 2 1st rounds last year so overall very good draft. And the year before of course was Kaiir Elam who has shown flashes but not enough. And I was really upset to see yet another mid-late rd RB pick but as I read and watch Davis it is hard not to get get excited. And Dewayne Carter, a three time Captaln, amazing when you think about it and not exactly a football factory at Duke. Love listening to that guy, he along with Coleman are going to be fan favorites.

Controversal view here but it was the correct decision, I was in the stands with a bunch of bill fans and no one knew what was going on. It was the only game on at that time, obviously the call came from the league to declare in a touchback. Had they not, the game would have effectively been over at that point, it took a series of miracles by Deshaun Watson to come back in that game. Maybe back the then letter of the rules it would have been a TD but that was no way to clinch a playoff game.

A fun game from 1979, Packers at Bills
RoyBatty is alive replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks for the post. Too bad it was such a dreadfully boring game, then again that was the era of Buffalo boring football. -
Agreed. Obviously key is to catch it early. reality is for prostate cancer an incredibly high percent of males will end up with prostate cancer and most will die of something else before the Prostate cancer gets you. In older men prostate cancer is typically a very very slow or metastasizng cancer.

Bills Rookie Media Day Mic'd Up DeWayne Carter
RoyBatty is alive replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall
My God, very happy you are not a scout for the Bills. I like how you declare the other poster's opinion is "wrong". I though the McCargo refernce was off, this is even worse. Marcel the lazy great underachiever. -
Bills Rookie Media Day Mic'd Up DeWayne Carter
RoyBatty is alive replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not even close. McCargo was borderline lazy and a follower, not very bright. Carter is the polar opposite. A leader (team captain), articulate, hard working. Carter is, imo, going to end up being a fan favorit! Great pick and give credit to Beane for trading back to pick him up. -
Another St Francis football alum. He joins the list of Tom Telesco, Brian Dabol, Luke Tasker I played at St Francis.

Smart bank, I wouldn't trust you either. -
Bills sign Chase Claypool, Smoot, Jones
RoyBatty is alive replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chase Claypool is a high-profile WR most fans know, I swear he was signed for both a comp body and to placate some of these WR-crazed Bills fans. -
Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
RoyBatty is alive replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
They kept saying he played two sports for several years in college, what as the other sport? -
Rd 6, Pick 204: OT Tylan Grable, UCF
RoyBatty is alive replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is a hybrid of Michael Jasper (massive and impressive speed) and Christian Wade (rugby). Neither one worked out so I am not expecting much. Was it a risk-adjusted good gamble, sure why not, it will be fun to watch his progress (or lack thereof). -
Gunner's 2024 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
RoyBatty is alive replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wowzer, you have the OPPOSITE of grade inflation on all of these guys. I think ALL of the QBs you mentioned go in Rd 1. I thought you would mention Caleb Williams and his mental stability and prowess to be a leader. His crying episode with his mom is a serious red flag to me.
