  1. We are going over the same ground. Strange you dont mention how many red zone rushing TDs he had? You keep cherry picking whatever stats you want to support your thesis. Why soddenly are you going to to teams stats, PPG, from his individual stats to demonstrate he didnt improve. (BTW the Bills avgd 15 ppg with Allen starting before he was hurt, so 18 is actually an improvement). And Why did you only use the last 5 games for your PPG instead 6? If you dont think Allen improved in the second half of the season I am not going to try and convince you otherwise.
  2. My god. 1) The KID was a raw rookie 2) He improved DRAMATICALLY from before and after he got hurt, he made tremendous progress. 3) You claim again he was abysmal in red zone, but now you add as I mentioned he was very effective running the ball in the red zone, i dont care if he throws it or runs, a Td is a TD. 4) Look at his supporting cast, was that a mauler oi line that was effective at all, esp in the red zone. And look at the receivers and TEs, enough said.
  3. Josh Allen had red zone ability bu t it was mostly with his legs but he did get TDs And his big arm do make plays, two plays off the top of my head, notably the play he got hurt in Houston and the long 75 yr bomb to Foster, And that pre-season TD at Carolina, where he threaded the needle, under 5 NFL QBs would even dare that throw.
  4. yeah, i lust looked up Ryans stats, worse than i thought, he didnt average over 60% completion on average while he was here. I think his arm got tired throuigh the year, that is why he would start out hot but and by game 5-6 really start throwing up some lame ducks.
  5. The opposite of Tyrod Taylor Josh Allen iS Ryan Fitzpatrick but with an arm 3x stronger.
  6. I think Edmunds is the key to the defense improving. The reason the Pats ran so effectively versus the Bills in game 2 is because belichek devised his game plan at misdirecting Edmunds or running right at him. The one factor to remember is the kid is in fact a kid last year at age 20. Here are some of his weaknesses identified before the draft and ALL of them were on display last year. Instincts are average and relies on athletic gifts Can be a step slow to diagnose Lured by misdirection Will take random downhill paths that trap him in the quagmire Patience is lacking Races ahead of plays and voids his leverage and run fits at times Mental busts in man coverage hurt his team Takes time to process moving pieces
  7. I actually think Edmunds might be the key this year for our defense to improve. Last year he had flashes of greatness, also had games, notably versus the Pats where he was a liability. belcihek ran right at him and/or had him faked out constantly out of position mis-pursuing plays.
  8. I promise you if I'm elected president, you're going to see the single most important thing that changes America, we're gonna cure cancer." Joe Biden June 12, 2019
  9. Can you imagine the non-stop laughter mixed with outrage if Trump had said soothing so incredibly arrogant & dumb. This is going to be great watching Crazy Joe or whatever nickname de jour one has for him. You know he is going to have multiple gaffes, Love to see a Trump Biden debate, that would be pay for view quality watching.
  10. I promise you if I'm elected president, you're going to see the single most important thing that changes America, we're gonna cure cancer." Joe Biden today.
  11. Yes he could if in fact the author of the original article is correct and he emerges but I just dont see him catching more than Beasley.
  12. Versatility, absolutely, for emergencies so you let a tackle play half a preseason at guard, let some guards play center, some guards swing to tackle depending upon skill set and body type.
  13. Is this a massive troll job? No it would lead to mass confusion, continually missed assignments, not playing to each players strengths. I want my O Lineman to know who is next to them at all times, know what to expect from them and know their assignment with as little "thinking" as possible. Can you imagine going from tackle one play to guard the next, in the middle of the play you forget you switched position? Do i pick up the blitzer, what gap do i cover, who picks up the stunt, will i have help on this play or do i need to help? It would be utter chaos.
  14. Sorry, next time i wont bold it. And how in the world you think i am somehow jealous of your post is even beyond absurd.
  15. Not it isnt, not at all. 100% correct. I dont have a great amount of hope in Zay's "emergence". And what about this brilliant line from that blog, "Buffalo added John Brown and Cole Beasley to their receiving corps. It may cut down on his targets." Seriously, it MAY cut down on targets to Zay?
  16. I have zero problem with what Brady said and can't fathom why you would consider him sounding like a "douche". He works as hard as just about anyone staying in shape and preparing during the season when it counts.
  17. So what I have learned is McDermott can come up with stupid, goofy nicknames just like the fans.
  18. this thread has really spiraled out of control quickly Dont know about him/her but I am on year 7 i believe
  19. Yeah a charity softball game has a high risk of injury.
  20. Damn thing pops up at the weirdest moments and Grammarly really isnt that good at all, use a conventional spell checker less security issued for sure.
  21. Truly zero incite into McDermott as an head coach, talks about Ed Oliver and Josh Allen, how is that relative to what a good coach McDermott is.
  22. I will be the proud first hater of Rome to respond, i can't believe he is still on the air with the same schtick over and over and over again. He does do a pretty good interview sometimes when he isnt talking about himself. And He does have a soft spot for the Bills, or at least he used to.
