  1. Up until the game yesterday, I was adamantly against the new kickoff rules. I thought the "landing zone" was contrived and severely limits if not eliminates any onside kick. Watching the new kickoff was dreadfully boring/confusing during pre-season, but yesterday changed my mind. Kickoffs are still exciting. Granted we probably had the two longest returns to date under the new system but now if is a play I will watch and not assume it will be kicked out of the end zone. Too many NFL kickers are just too good and consistent getting touch backs. The returns and coverage will continue top evolve all year. I thought the pickup of Brandon Codington was bizarre but his one return was electric and he has already been justified imo. So we can partially eliminate the whining about McD/Beane getting players that are good on special teams. I will actually watch kickoffs more closely now. It will be interesting to see how many long returns or TDs we get in the NFL this year.
  2. Instead of Josh Allen risking injury bulldozing or hurdling into the end zone, we should direct high contested throws to Coleman, that should be a signature play for use with his height, wingspan and physicality.
  3. Redskin, uh-oh, one demerit for you I think he also called them something akin to "high school educated alcoholics".
  4. My mistake #22, the rookie rb Davis, not Benford.
  5. I will have to watch that is in fact he does do that it is losing predictable football at its worst.
  6. Agreed, three bills at least missed easy tackles, I think the third was #47 Benford .
  7. Thanks Virgil, you do a great job on this. One comment, you mentioned he threw it at someone feet, when I saw that particular play i think he was more or less just throwing it away, He he very very few balls which were simply poorly thrown. Totally agree on the J Allen MVP, I though he played an extraordinary game, especially in the second half when he, more or less, appeared to not be denied a victory, especially with those TD runs and a few key first down runs.
  8. Tre was almost universally a Bills fan favorite but injuries and time caught up to him. How the rams justified paying him $10 million is beyond my comprehension.
  9. Please let this be a one page zero added thread.
  10. Hey Buffalo 716, we all GET it already, can you DROP it? Are you the self anointed Buffalo Gatekeeper?
  11. I agree, Bleeding Bills Blue post was great, succinct and properly explains what we real got instead of we traded Coleman for Worthy blah blah.
  12. He effectively got a free release, if he was "jammed" as you wrote, Worthy would have been flying ion his ass like he did in that pre-season game.
  13. Unless worthy turns out to be offensive Rookie of the Year, I would trade Worthy for Carter, Coleman and Van Pran in a heartbeat. All these moving pieces hard to keep straight. You will know, which teams do we get their 2nd round for Diggs,
  14. If you find out will you let me know please
  15. Amazing what you can find out on the TBD message board. I have said "sasparilla" my entire life, I never knew it was actually "sarsparilla".
  16. Houston Texans. In a few short years, they went from a disaster franchise with their perverted handjob QB holding out, "run" by this bizarre charlatan Jack Easterby with some bizarre Rasputin like grip on the dimwit owner Cal McNair. The Texans lost most of their fan base, things were so bad they let perennial fan favorite just leave the team. Now they are letting Cal's wife effectively be the face of the franchise, they fired two inept coaches, gold a kings Ransom for Deshaun Watson. Laast year went to the playoff with a resounding first playoff win by 29 points. They had rookie of the year in CJ Stroud, defensive rookie of the year, up and coming one of the best coaches in the NFL in Demeco Ryans. Now the Texans are stock with young talent with a cheap rookie QB contract and for whatever it is worth they have our "favorite son" Stefon Diggs.
  17. “tennis girl”, lol. i admit you do have a pretty good schtick going on with this routine
  18. relying on hearing vocals from the sidelines or even from the edge in an NFL stadium are fraught with danger imo. High school, yes easy. Pros or even major colleges think it would be difficult.
  19. The 1 color rush games are atrocious, especially when they go all red.
  20. Yes it is easy to defend IF you can see it or know it is coming. I think it would be very difficult to see especially if you are deep as a return man, both lines would be visual obstacles with as low as the underhand pass is.
  21. Have you no faith in the brilliance of TBD posters?
  22. When is this thread going to be locked, my over/under on this is 70 posts.
  23. Interesting to see how this plays out. If in fact the other two are "Better", than Diggs made a major ego driven mistake agreeing to go to the Texans.
  24. Well we disagree. I said I wouldn't be shocked, didnt say the would. Stock full of young talent,so far a great head coach. Last year with a rookie HC, QB they won this first playoff game by 29 points, a young team by all parameters should only get better. We shall see.
  25. Doubt it. Texans fans really dont have the level of love for Diggs (at least not yet) to match the level of animus Bills fans have for Diggs.. Texans fans after last year are wildly optimistic (as they should be) and I think winning 2 playoff games is very reasonable for them this year and no I wouldst be shocked to see them in the Super Bowl.
