  1. Black for black’s sake (BFBS) is THE worst trend in uni styles. Bills really ought to get rid of the black outlines on the unis. As the uniwatch page put it, the Bills since 2011 are a blue and white team with red accents. The black (or… dark navy some people say, but I own a pair of game used pants/shorts and it certainly looks black to me and it’s a distinction without a difference) is a copied element from the Cowboys’ hack job that is their white uni set that has black outlines on the sleeve stripes but not ANYWHERE else, to go along with the three different shades of blue they use (the uni pants just recently were switched to the steely blue from the infamous seafoam green). It’s maddening to uni fans. Or for anyone who “roots for the laundry” as Seinfeld said about the age of free agency and such. It *might* make sense from a chromostereopsis standpoint of red adjoining blue creating a blurry affect, which ostensibly is the case on the blue jerseys… but on the road set we have black outlines between the red on the numbers & sleeves and the white jersey. And it’s between the blue and the white on the helmets. Such inconsistency. In the era of HDTV this is not needed. Even in the Kelly era with SD, this was not needed. It was just red, white, and blue. Simple as that. And the freaking collars that have changed 6-7 times with the different Nike templates (the toilet bowl ring, then it did meet at the V, then it didn’t, then it did, then it met but was just a grayed fabric, and now there’s an elongated V with the Fusion template)… please lose them!; just make the collars the same color as the jersey already. TPegs was part of the Sabres redesign that simplified those jerseys, kicking out the grey pinstriping and changing the dark blue back to the classic royal. Why we can’t do similar for the Bills and make a B+ uni set an A+ is beyond me. Maybe we can hope for it with the new stadium?
  2. Loved his work — acting and directing several episodes — on “The Mandalorian.”
  3. Marcus West joined in 2022, which is recent enough to give him leeway in my mind re: the DL’s lack of development given all the prime resources that’ve been devoted to it. I mean… we’ll see.
  4. For me, I was pretty happy to lose Eric Washington to Chicago. A DL coach who has had THIS much draft capital thrown his way and to not teach and develop it worth a damn until Ed Oliver had a fire lit under his butt this season (which I put more on a self-starting thing) is downright criminal. They had to bring in Von because nobody was improving.
  5. I think it’s Wisconsin that plays U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name before the home game. They really crank it. At the beginning it almost feels like you’re coming to church with the harmonium music and then it breaks out. They also play “Jump Around” by House of Pain just before the start of the 4thQ. Started in 1998 and it’s awesome to see all the students and fans literally jump around. Especially at a big rivalry game. Another college team would do “Mr. Brightside” and it seemed like it was a unique until frickin everyone started playing that all through any kind of game everywhere. It would be cool to have our own signature song that is played at a specific time.
  6. Out of all the pairings when the playoffs started, this is the one I absolutely hated the most. You couldn’t pay me to watch the Swiftie SB. It’s either smarmy KC or the favorite team of my ex-sister-in-law who has made my family’s life a living hell the last 10 years. It’s lose-lose. Considering driving my dog to the ocean here in CT to let him run in the sand on the beach in winter. If the weather is nice that day. And maybe I’ll get to be fitted with this thing so I can forget several things ever happened:
  7. Great? At DT, Ted Washington. No one has come anywhere close since. At DE Bruce, with an honorable mention to Mario Williams early on.
  8. Did you not see Cook’s drops on screen passes this year? It was brutal, especially in clutch situations.
  9. It’s a bit sickening that the Vikings picked Justin Jefferson with the pick we traded to get Diggs.
  10. Milano, as great as he is when he’s in there, is injured so often we just can’t depend on him to be on the field for the playoffs. LBs take a beating, him more than many it seems.
  11. After that ball went right through his f’in hands I don’t want to hear word one from Diggs insofar as any kind of criticism of the team. He failed Josh, the team, and the fans right there. Stay silent until training camp my dude. So skipping the postgame presser is a whatever.
  12. That was on Poyer. Bumped Kelce then let him go right past as he joined coverage on Gray. Doh!
  13. Just to note that the Rams were given permission to use their white unis in the Super Bowl they won a few years ago, rather than the “bone” ones which were officially their away set at the time. I mean… clearly the best decision.
  14. The tour reporters have asked her why — given her parents are billionaires — she plays and I suppose this is exactly why Jessie Pegula has stayed on the WTA 🎾 circuit. Gotta bring home some of that Wimbledon & Aussie Open bacon to fund the stadium overages!
  15. For me it’s Bruce’s sack where he just engulfed Bledsoe from behind. Iconic moment. Pic below, altho I can’t find anything else in a quick Google search… odd. Welcome to the NFL, rookie. Yep, always liked this uni set from the Pats*. The grey facemasks look much better than the red they switched to the next year. It just makes it look better as a standalone piece, but they wanted to tie it into the rest of the uni / team colors. Also, the pants stripe emulating the flags / streams of the logo were a nice unique touch that they changed to bland stripes. And there’s something about the royal blue that’s lost when they went to navy… but in the same breath it is nice to have some defined color differentiation b/w our teams in the same division. Yeah, it was this one… altho I can’t find a better one in a quick google search. Hmm.
  16. For the kiddos, nieces and nephew, I was a proponent of the: 1 thing they want 1 thing they need 1 thing they wear 1 thing they read Christmas hasn’t been festive here in quite a while tho. My mum passed in 2014. Haven’t seen one niece who I was very close with (my brother has severe Lyme disease and I would go over there and help when he had her) since 2015, due to 8 YEARS in family court and she now doesn’t really remember us #ParentalAlienation. I only see my other brother and his kids like once a year; they and their mum do their own thing ~1 hour away. I’m on the autism spectrum and don’t really connect with other people easily. So yeah. Haven’t put up the tree in 8 years and would just spend the day/s with my dog. He passed in November at almost 14 and it was wrecking me. Got a rescue goldendoodle about 3 weeks ago, which was my Christmas present for myself and for him and it’s still melancholy… but bearable now. I’ve been getting things for him this season — walking harness & new leash, treats, chewing bone, clipper set so I can do grooming myself and save some money…. If I need something through the year I just get it when I can instead of saving it for Christmas. There are some in my Facebook circle who go very overboard. But for the most part, it seems to be getting more low-key.
  17. Jesus. And now Los Dodgers also sign Yamamoto to a huge contract — 12 years at $325M. Baseball really needs a salary cap. Or at least a salary ceiling that a team can’t spend over. The ‘luxury tax’ system does nothing but allow the few big markets to buy all of the talent &/or championships. There is absolutely no parity. None. ONE guy on the Dodgers is making more in one year of his contract than 10 teams spend on their entire roster. The players union loves it I'm sure but it’s absolutely TERRIBLE for the game.
  18. If I were McD or on that sideline, I’d attack Hoculi on the field and not stop punching him in the face until…. I am F’IN PISSED!!!!!
  19. I wanna eat some zebra at halftime. This is BS!!!!!
  20. Where does this prick live? A Hoculi still jobbing us. Some of the mafia need to visit him. There’s been 3 BS calls… so far. Painting the field yellow. 😡
  21. All Thanksgiving weekend games should feature throwback unis for every team that can (Panthers & Texans are the only ones that have no throwbacks). They used to do this and then stopped and I have absolutely no idea why.
