I'd watched games with my step dad for a few years but was more of a "casual" fan. We went to one pre season game a year and that was it. I was on tickets to the Rams Monday nighter in 1989 and watching Frank Reich in the last two minutes if that game had me hooked. We then started going to one regular season game every year...including the As Sunday night game against the Raiders, and the Doug Flutie naked boot leg. Each play fueled my obsession and I've upgraded to season tickets 15 years ago and plan on keeping them for life.

I always tell everyone to take in one more layer then you think you'll need. A t shirt and jacket might feel like enough, but after a couple of hours in the stadium you might wish you'd brought your sweater in. Better to be prepared.

I don't think this has anything to do with the renderings. We are "close" to seeing those. If I had to guess, I'd say they need more time to finalize the community benefits agreement that is part of the new lease. Although it could be still needing settlement on other day, minor issues in the new lease itself. We probably won't ever know.

This happens regularly in negotiations and isn't a big deal. During our last set of negotiations at work we extended the prior contract four times before we finalized a contract. It's something that is done if both sides feel they are close to an agreement, making genuine progress, and just need a little more time.

At least it's finally over. Can't wait for the real season to start...
