Bills' ticket prices soar as new season fast approaches
TFBillsfan replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get it. When the product is good fans are willing to pay more. I live in Atlanta and was looking to go to a game with my wife and daughter but that’s a very expensive weekend. Have contemplated seeing them play in Miami or attending a December game. As a fan I’d rather have this problem than when the team was horrible and tickets were dirt cheap!!!!!! -
Excited for the game today even if it’s preseason. Numerous things to watch. >Starting OL playing together in a game for the first time. >Running game with Singletary, Moss and Cook >TE competition with Knox out. Will OJ Howard make some plays >Does Crowder or Austin make some plays or does Hodgins continue his strong play >Haack vs PG. Sure he can punt it a mile but how does he do with directional punting and hitting balls when placement is needed over distance. >Looking for continued consistency with Elam and Benford. Great problem to have if both are performing well. >Debut of starting DL. Do they get to the QB? Do they impose their will in stopping the run and getting to the QB. >Need to see a better game from Keenum Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY just stay healthy!!!!!! Let’s go Buffalo!

NFLN Schedule Preseason Week 2
TFBillsfan replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seattle should finish last in their division which will probably result in Pete getting dismissed at the end of the year. -
Ravens edge out Cinncy if they stay healthy. Pittsburgh will be competitive with a strong D and playmakers on offense. Depends on their QB play but I’m sure they will surprise a few teams. It will be interesting to see what becomes of the Browns this year, culture, team dynamics, leadership, etc, with the Watson situation. I use to root for Cleveland when not playing the Bills, but I have to imagine many fans like me now detest them. Feel like they sold out and knew exactly what Watson did but looked the other way.
-
I would expect the offensive starters will be focused on the run game and a lot of quick passes. I would also expect to see the 2nd tier WR’s sprinkled in to see how they perform with Josh. Great opportunity for OJ Howard with Knox most likely not playing.

We play KC yet again on the road! WTF

For everyone debating Elam vs Benford, it’s a great probably to have! Kudos to both of them as they will be contributors going forward. Same with the WR group. With the quality of this roster, I would have to wager GM’s will be calling Beane about who is available for a trade or draft pick. I do wonder with the play of Duke and Blackshear if Taiwan Jones roster spot is in trouble? Duke’s speed is obvious. Also wonder where Crowder and Tavon Austin stand. Next week will be important for both of them. Lots of positives from this game. Three final thoughts, Matt Ryan looked bad, BillsMafia showed up in force and for all the great work the D did, can we stop giving up big chunks of yards after they make a sack or force the offense into long down distance. For example all too often, it’s 2nd/3rd and 20 and then they give up 15 yards playing soft D. Lets go Buffalo!

Hopefully it’s only minor. Please let the Bills stay healthy this year!

A lot of bad football being played right now. And the refs aren’t any better.
-
IMO, that is a prime example of a ref looking to throw a flag. Hopefully the bar is raised for what a taunting penalty is in regular season.
-
That taunting call by the refs was a horrible call.

Hate seeing anyone injured for the season during the preseason.

I can’t imagine being a Browns fan right now. For anyone that has a conscious they know Watson should be punished far more than 6 games. It will be interesting to see how the fan base responds to Watson and to the ownership. It seems both are tone deaf and keep digging the hole deeper. Watson being suspended for only six games is embarrassment to the NFL. How the Browns structured Watson’s contract to avoid monetary punishment this year is a horrible look for the franchise. It would be very difficult for me to stay a fan if this was the Bills. Hopefully the commissioner increases the punishment and fine.

Any news on when Brown and/or Saffold will be back practicing and in the trenches? Need them healthy and a chance to get some quality reps in before the season starts. Our OL current state is concerning.

TM Ticket Exchange versus Stub Hub alert
TFBillsfan replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably true if you live in the area but for fans that live out of state that doesn’t work. Trying to purchase 3 tickets against the Steelers in the 100 level is super expensive. Was really wanting to go that weekend as my daughter has an extended weekend. Being in ATL may have to see them play on the road against Miami. -
Appreciate all that Hughes has done for Buffalo but it’s time to move on. No one ever questioned his work ethic or passion. He gave it his all and glad he’s helped turn the franchise around. My top three highlights are: 1. His TD return against the Broncos 2. Chasing the ref up the tunnel 3. Getting a bogus fathom 15 yard penalty against NE after stopping them on 3rd down for hitting another Bills players helmet in celebration. Ref said he was hitting a NE player. Assuming this was sarcastic. We’ve lost to TN the last two years in a row and after last season’s embarrassing lost against the JAG’s, I don’t take anytime for granted. Bill’s expectations are thru the roof, but one thing is certain, they better be ready to play EACH and EVERY week. The lost to TN and the Jags cost them the #1 seed last year. Buffalo needs to score TD’s early and take away their running game.

Assuming we’ll be on the road but don’t see us going against the Rams now. At NYJ or at Miami would be my guess.

Former Bills CB Levi Wallace takes blame for 13 Seconds
TFBillsfan replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry but not buying that. All the evidence fails squarely on the coaching staff. Failure to provide clear instructions on the kickoff. Called a timeout before the first play only to give up an easy 15 yard pick up. Called time out AGAIN and still stayed in the same defense to easily give up another big play allowing KC to kick a FG.- 95 replies

Thanks for posting as I really enjoyed the article. The Bills have so many positives right now and to a man they all know they have a roster to WIN a Super Bowl. The reality is now they have to go out and prove it. No more excuses at this point if they want to move past the 13 second debacle. It’s also incumbent on this coaching staff to learn how to finish! Year one in their playoff under McDermott lost to Jax as they couldn’t get it done. The loss against the Texans was another example. Went far too conservative on 4 & 20 to end up losing. Game should have been over on that play but they were far to conservative on D. Following year went far too conservative against KC in the playoffs and the AZ Hail Mary shouldn’t of ever been in the situation. Last year the choke against Jax cost a top 2 seed and we all know what occurred in the last 13 seconds against KC. While the roster is super competitive, McDermott and Frazier HAVE TO BE BETTER this year. Everything is there for them to do it this season!
