the gamesmanship within the gamesmanship
billsbackto81 replied to Golden*Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's funny cause it's true. -
This is a very good point! When you consider the mess that was inherited, the house cleaning purge that followed and the rebuild that began from there. This isn't the Jets or the Browns whose GMs were given the check book to go willy nilly on FAs on a quick fix to the post season. This is a rebuild that has been methodically thought out and designed on vision instead of buying sexy new toys. Soon to be 2 post season appearances in 3 years? Rolling over 80+ million in cap space next year? Hell yes he deserves consideration for GM of the Year! But it is Buffalo.... Front runners are likely: Baltimore GM Niners GM

Good Stuff! Riddick and Stephen A. Giving Props

Max Kellerman. Made his so called mark as a boxing analyst. He, along with others bashed Allen and the Bills organization when he was drafted and now have to back pedal or grudgingly accept the fact that Josh is actually an NFL quality QB. I understand that many may feel that the praise from Riddick, Prisco, Brandt, McShay and Burleson is hollow but as I mentioned earlier what got me were the comments Riddick spoke on McD and his coaching. Detail, Discipline, Culture, Accountability, Family. That's what I want from my HC for years to come. We got a good one guys! -

True but for me it was more about how Riddick broke down McD and his coaching and culture of the team. -
Riddick and his interpretation of what the Bills are is spot on and the most honest evaluation I've heard all year. Don't sleep on this team!!

Tell us your favorite Ref moment today...

I agree with what you said but don't hold your breath waiting for an apology when despite of the bias officiating we dominated the game. We would just be perceived as entitled cry babies which is far from reality. -

True but if we're thinking of the same play the DB never looked back for the ball. That'll draw the flag every time. -
Allen 4th and 1 opinions wanted
billsbackto81 replied to Don Otreply's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are 32 starting QBs in the NFL. Only one of them will make that play, Josh Patrick Allen! The other 31 are walking to the sideline while the ball is still on the turf already conceding defeat. -

I loved the play on words: (paraphrasing) Josh may not be in the same sentence yet as Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson, but he's in the same paragraph. Freaking love that!! -

God there were so many to choose from. Hands on Cooper by Tre (ticky tack) though Gilmore was allowed to mug him to death on Sunday. No call on Josh (roughing the passer while sliding) Hands to the face negating the TO. Phillips I believe? Hand never went above the players neck. BS call to keep Dallas' drive alive. Unsportsmanlike on Hughes, though that one was borderline. The one legged TD that never should of needed reviewing. The Gore 1st down they called short, even after clear review proved otherwise. -
Under the radar star for the Bills vs. Cowboys

Good call. Ed and Shaq have been lights out the last 2 games. -
Shout out to Brian Daboll

Josh should not be running designed runs on 1st down. I will give credit where its due, this was Dabolls best game. He still lets off the throttle a little too early IMO but he had the offense humming right along with mistake free football. Truly a pleasure to watch effort matched with execution. Tip of the hat to you Brian! -
Somebody get that man a turkey leg and send the Dallas GM a side of crow.
