  1. This love obsession over a 1 dimensional QB is starting to become the stuff of legend. Time has proven running QBs get figured out, injured and fade out. Why do you think we're encouraging Josh to be an "actual" QB? Yes the Ravens scheme is flashy and exciting, and dare I say sexy. But we've all read this story before so why is the ending different in this case? He's a brilliant athlete with lightning speed and elusiveness. But he's an average passer that will be asked to do more once the whole 3 TE set thing gets figured out, and it will. And that's if he doesn't suffer an injury or a series of concussions first.
  2. Ravens D is quite comparable to the Bills. Bills pass defense is better but Baltimore is 7th against the rush, the Bills are 18th. And as many like to point out we haven't exactly played the elite of the NFL.
  3. Agreed. I feel Jackson like Mahomes ended up on the perfect team for them, talent wise and coach wise. Jackson has Ingram and Edwards, Josh has a promising rookie and glue factory ready horse. Jackson has a Top O-line and Josh has a serviceable patchwork of players. Jackson has a SB winning HC and an OC that is perfect for the players they've assembled. Josh has a conservative, clap happy defensive minded culture guru and an OC that can't game plan around the players he has. Keep everything the same and switch QBs and you might find the results to be eerily similar. That fact that Josh is doing what he is with the talent around him as he works through his shortcomings and still be 7-3 is quite impressive. But by all means lets keep praising the guy that crapped the bed last year once the bright lights came on.
  4. LOL! Yeah, very little resistance on that one for sure. Frazier did a nice job shifting the D line pre- snap confusing Miami's assignments.
  5. https://timekills.info/ Whole game in 40 minutes.
  6. But C.B, he didn't throw for 300 against them either. Cousins threw for over 300, after being down 20 at the half and abandoning the run game. Rarely will you find a 300 yard passer and a 100 yard runner on the same stat sheet nowadays. To me it's not a big deal, not making excuses. It'll happen soon enough and most likely when he starts connecting on some deep shots. Cousins, Jimmy G, Matt Ryan and Dak (all over 300) won but had no running game to speak of. Minn had 37 rushing, SF had 34 rushing, Atl had 54 rushing and Dallas had 75 rushing. Josh threw for 256 and the team rushed for 168!!!
  7. Is it difficult for you to understand? 1. The Bills are a run the ball, play solid D type of team. 2. Josh is one of the better runners in the league and though he's not putting up last year's numbers, it's still a big part of his game. 3. The Bills have not trailed by any considerable amount pretty much all year which would force them to play catch up and abandon the run game. 4. McD is not a " run up the score" kinda coach. Once the Bills get a 10 point lead they go with a time consuming run offense and protect the lead prevent D. A lot of losers threw for over 300 yesterday. Big whoop.
  8. Incomplete...... I kid I kid... A- for me. Still had a hiccup or two on some short throws but overall solid performance.
  9. Ok http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&statisticCategory=RECEIVING&conference=null&season=2019&seasonType=REG&d-447263-s=RECEIVING_YARDS&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-n=1
  10. What? Dogs at home against a 3-7 team? C'mon man!! That was my prediction, seems about right.
  11. I'd sooner pay him 10 mil a year instead of Star without a doubt.
  12. They seem to play much better when I listen through my BT Headset. They play like crap when I use surround sound.
  13. I was surprised he didn't win it during the preseason. By the way, anyone know what happened to Trent Murphy this afternoon? I see 8 players contributed to 7 sacks today, but our $9 million DE wasn't one of them. ------------ Levi is not the answer at CB2, but neither is Johnson though I feel he's a modest upgrade to Wallace at best. Trent is not as bad as people make him out. If you're looking for sacks from him forget it. His game is contain, sealing the edge and keeping plays at the LOS. And he does that pretty well. Not sexy, but consistent. I do feel like Star he is over paid for what he does.
  14. Perhaps, but it doesn't make me any less of a fan. This is my favorite sport and team of any in the sports world. I've watched every game without fail for over 25 years. I've cried and rejoiced over wins and losses. I've been happier than most when it comes to the Bills, unfortunately I've been sadder more times than I care to remember as well.
  15. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying this season as much as anyone. Just not ready for the rose colored glasses. I like your optimism though. Go Bills!
  16. You ever stop to think that this is their potential? Until they show us otherwise, what you see is what they are. Yes they are improving but as far as true contention they don't pass the eye test.
  17. No, it was expected. Beat Dallas, Baltimore or NE in this fashion and that will be the one I'm waiting for. Just my opinion. Good win though. Cleveland still stings.
  18. Denver had a major meltdown today. Go into halftime up 20-0 just to choke away. I'd expect Bills +6.
