  1. Colin Kaepernick NFL Settlement- NY Times
  2. You're mistaken. A Billion dollar industry paid two players a 10 Million dollar settlement to make the bad press go away. He is out of the league based on his own actions. The settlement and the tryout are both the equivalent of a parent giving a petulant child ice cream to stop the crying. He could of spent the last three years in the AFL or the CFL trying to prove he wanted to play football. He didnt do that because he thinks he is entitled to millions.
  3. Baltimore offered him a contract and then Kaeps girlfriend posted a meme on social media calling Baltimores owner a slave owner and Ray Lewis a house boy. Have a feeling thats not where he is going. People need to wake up and understand this fool got run from the league allon his own. Pretty sure everything he said was spot on. Maybe look up Kaeps stance on Fidel Castro as well. He is a misguided fool who plays on emotions to look intelligent. In reality he is a race baiting spoiled cry baby.
  4. Was watching last night. Got a good chuckle. If you dont laugh you cry.
  5. Ive had the same feeling for awhile. Got blasted in another thread because I said they would lose to the Browns and miss the playoffs.
  6. As talented as the Browns are they were 2-6 coming in. They did everything they could to let the Bills win. Loss to a 2-6 team in the middle of a playoff race because you missed two field goals is definitely Billsy.
  7. 11-5 was doable with a win against the Browns. Now they are looking at best 10-6. They have to beat the Dolphins, Broncos, Steelers and Jets to get there, and none of those games are gimmies. You win by scoring points, and they dont do that. They got to 6-3 by beating bad teams narrowly. It was an illusion, and the chickens are coming home to roost. It was found to be disrespectful to the process of honoring your opponents and was snuffed out from the teams vocabulary.
  8. Its the Bills message board hyperbole. His narrative is in line with "McDermott only signs Christians."
  9. Liked him a lot as a person here, but as a player he struggles big time in coverage. He would be better off fitting into a 3-4 base scheme and not being a 3 down linebacker. They have a younger option in Germaine Pratt they probably want to see for the rest of the year. Wouldnt bring him back.
  10. But the Seahawks arent building for long term success like we are.
  11. Better get ready for him to choose number 3, because he and Beane will get their entire contract here. I am sure of it.
  12. I think Cleveland wins the game in Cleveland, and Pittsburgh gets them back in a few weeks at home. Pittsburgh defense did look mighty scary yesterday though.
  13. He is a below average head coach. He can dress it up anyway he wants, but despite all his motivational speaking and talk about previous regimes making poor decisions his process has produced a similar outcome as Rex and Marrone's. They were good at hovering around the playoffs as well, they just didnt have the Andy Dalton miracle. On the upside he is probably about as good as Vrabel, O'brien and Gruden- on the downside he is about as good as Dan Quinn and Doug Marrone.
  14. Pittsburgh is losing to Cleveland this week.
  15. I usually dont go out before 9am but my neighbor said something about my leaves blowing into his yard (despite me spending full days on my mower and lawn sweeper this fall) so 8:30am Sunday, before church, I was on my mower running the lawn sweeper again. Also back on it from 4-5:30 after the game yesterday
  16. I was thinking the same thing watching the game. That offense looks very suited for what Allen does well. It would mask a lot of issues on the oline as well. Both teams did a great job of getting their talent in space. Stark contrast to watching running backs run into a brick wall for two yards.
  17. Yes, he has been inactive the last two weeks.
  18. He would be much better as an outside linebacker where he can play in space. For as big as he is he doesnt use his strength to get off blocks well.
  19. Its hard to tell how many stars they have because both the offense and defense are run to limit mistakes and play within what the other team gives you. The Bills want to go with the flow rather than establishing the flow. They are reactive rather than proactive. Its becoming very hard to watch. Good teams establish the pace, they have killer instinct. This team is far from that and its getting worse.
  20. They need to beat Dolphins, Broncos, Jets, and Steelers. Unless they start scoring points on offense getting to the playoffs is going to be a long shot. Raiders, Titans, and Steelers are starting to turn it on at the right time of the season, and the Bills are showing us who they are.
  21. It is. And if he picked a player just because the head coach wanted him then he also isnt doing his job. Use whatever excuse you want but Beane's job is to get the best players he can, especially at QB.
  22. This is the way it goes now. If your QB isnt Mahomes then he sucks. Its the way the world works, everything is black and white. The offense is a work in progress. He needs to get the deep ball right. But he also needs some beasts on that side of the ball with him. They have some nice players there now but there are no real blue chippers. Also help if the kicker hits field goals.
  23. If Beane didnt find the Quarterback then he failed. Its the single most important part of his job.
  24. He wasnt great, but if both kickers make all their field goals the Bills still win 22-20. Hauschka, Allen, Poor play calling, and bad tackling all played a part. They lost as a team.
  25. Yes. He throws with anticipation and accuracy. Allen is a qb who needs players to be through the route before he fires. He relies on his athletic ability solely and doesnt really have a feel or rhythm to his game. He will probably be a back up for a long time in the league but I dont have a lot of hope for him as a long time starter. Starting to remind me a lot of Ryan Tannehill
