I have multiple issues with your idea. 1. The cost to move up from 54 into the 1st is going to be very costly in draft capital . Which means the other holes we have won't be filled via the draft this year. 2. Why are we moving up for a safety when it isn't a need whatsoever? Hyde and Poyer are both playing at a high level and both signed beyond this year.

I think that's an excellent idea certainly for this year especially. Now moving forward I'm not sure id keep it. I think here are some benefits a UDFA would have over being a 8-10 round pick. 1. Sign with a team with a perceived shallow depth chart at their position thus likely increasing the odds of sticking .

Outside of Simmons, Davis probably has the highest upside of any LB in the draft . Excellent sideline to sideline speed and he's known for hustle on every play. Evans is a speed and track star at the RB position. D Jeremiah is a big fan of his.
