yea I have to disagree with this one... How a team is run, goes through its daily business from now to the draft has 0 to do with "best run organizations" because everything has changed. the combine and pro day is separate for smart reasons and now no matter what organization or how good or bad it is has to change the process of how they go about scouting these players from the independent scouts to team scouts and all the way up the chain to the GM level. This doesn't make the job of the organization easier by any means. improvement variables between their last game to combine to pro day is gone. as stated earlier in the thread the only good thing about it is every team has to go through this hell this year of figuring out where players ranked based now purely on college level and where they at right now. this will be just as hard for everyone... wont be easier just cause a specific team is a well oiled machine...

this is going to drive the scouting teams WILD, you have combine separate from pro-days for a reason. the days are separated because it is a judge of... IS that player having a better day then average or good day? less to compare to. our stability has little to do with having one less day to make a scout report... also this messes up the scouting report chains out there.. they do scouting report viewing the college year the player has had then it gets kicked up to the person scouting on combine. when the combine scout is done with report the report gets kicked up to pro day scout. This messes up scouting chains at the NFL team level, the media level and to people like us who like to look through all the reports. Now its all on pro day.. what a mess I must also add it sucks for the players as well.. Normally if they are not ready or well for the first day... ill of for what ever reasons they can make it up... Sorry this is just so dumb

I was actually being sarcastic. We do not have the fix for RB on this roster... I still think top 2 RB round 1 or top 4 RB round 2. Id rather have one of the top 2 in round 1. We have had RB's wide freaken open RB's drop 1 yard passes that could have gone 10+ yards. neither their speed or catching abilities that scare defenses... thus my sarcasm

I don't know why threads like this keep getting refreshed.. to much "I told you so" BS Defensive Line is missing a solid one tech DT that draws double teams... We did not have that this year thus the apposing O'Line could pick and choose who to double and when. Get a SOLID one tech DT then lets see how the rest fills it... For now we keep going up at bat for edge players but till we get that solid DT 1 Tech? this book is not fully written yet... Congrats on being right once out of 3 times.

I don't consider this speculation... I consider this good observation. Many of us feel this same way.. Maybe how you looked at it was different? and that is ok right? cause we all have the right to see things how we see them.

For what JJ has done for communities I admire in him.... But this is a football decision... a Business decision... drop the emotions drop the past garbage he has said. IF he is good to go for the next 2 years till we can get out of draft hell then great.. at the right price.. Our pass rush starts with the inside out. there are a couple DT that are over paid that give us around 13.5 mil we can with ease get a good one tech DT that will make Oliver better, then the DE's better then domino effect starts Oline... Beanie is going to have to be a magician here in FA ... cap issues... going to have to make it happen and find us a better guard at the very least. HB round one top 2.. The Draft gods told me one of them will drop to us... hopefully A second Quality CB this may be a pipe dream this year... there is to much to get before they touch cb,, Next man up here. Second round Edge guy will finish solving our DL woes. WR Davis will fill shoes for #2 for now unless a WR is begging to come to Buffalo at a good price... which I can see happening. FA LB.. same quality as a Milano 5th year option on Allen followed by a 5 year 41 mil a year deal. Rounds 3+ LB, G By doing all of this we.. A. Make our Offense Dynamic B. Solidify our front 4 C. Have the look of a more complete team. Unless our GM can't figure out some Magic on our O'Line, we may struggle here again. IF a top 2 RB does not fall to us it will change everything. G round 1 Edge round 2 And we will find out with a better line if our RB's can stand on our own 2 feet.
