  1. AKA The Government in Exile?
  2. Say it with me: STRONG SIDE! WEAK SIDE! OFFSIDE! INSIDE!
  3. Was a smart, well respected man but not the best coach Bills ever had. How many NFL teams can claim both a Yale (Jauron) and Harvard (Marv levy Mastered in English) grad as head coaches?
  4. Erggghhh...Vrabel was playing for the Steelers in 1999, not coaching the Titans.
  5. A consolation prize that is coinicidentally a Raider (like Crosby) and UB grad (like Mack - who btw was also a Raider)! FA EDGE Malcolm Koonce Malcolm Koonce LV • DE • #51 Koonce has to be one of the more fascinating players available this offseason, and there's no guarantee the Raiders allow him to walk. The former third-round pick out of Buffalo was expected to explode in 2024, but suffered a season-ending knee injury right before the season opener. Now, he will be able to test the market. In 2023, Koonce recorded a career-high eight sacks, and six came in the final four games of the season. He recorded three sacks of Mahomes in that Christmas Day upset, which is still the last time Kansas City lost at home.
  6. yeah Bills should hire a HC who went 0-4 in regular season and 0-1 in playoffs vs KC as Eagles and Jags HC. Makes sense to me!
  7. That is a great tackle. I was also taken back by how Dorian was first Bill to get to PR, albeit he dove and missed tackle, and how he then got up and ran back 45 yards to make the TD saving tackle. HUSTLE! https://www.chiefs.com/video/nikko-remigio-s-44-yard-punt-return-gets-chiefs-into-bills-territory
  8. Carter had lingering issues with his wrist and regularly appeared on late season injury reports. He had wrist surgery late OCT and struggled upon his return. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-dewayne-carter-wrist-injury
  9. Ingram played as the 6th DB or 3rd safety in Bills D this year. He replaced Cam Lewis in that role when Lewis was hurt or playing S. Ingram is more of a slot CB or S. Not sure they played him outside even unless in mop up part of games
  10. Yes, maybe in total yards surrendered because BUF was easy to run on. Real NFL QBs feasted on the Bills pass D since McD has been here. The Bills pass D under McD historically only confounds mediocre or young QBs.
  11. Butler had no great NFL success in BUF or with HOU before. McDermott grabbed him when he was fired by Bill Obrien (who he had worked with at PSU too) at end of 2017 season and he became DB coach (2018-2021) and then DB Coach/Passing Game Coordinator in 2022-2023 for Bills. He was a high school team mate of McDermott in Philly which is why he likely was hired. Even with that prior connection, McDermott chose Babich as his new D Coord over Butler. So he parted ways with two coaches he had prior history with - interesting. Butler spent 2024 with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and was just named 2025 D Coordinator for them..
  12. I am not an NFL executive but would guess if OBD trades for Maxx or Myles they would not have a #1 pick in 2025 left to use on a DT. Maybe have Coleman go work with Moulds in offseason like Shakir did last year.
  13. Frank Lewis played his 6 years with BUF 1978-1983 with no PCL in one of his Knees. 269 catches for 4638 yards and 24 TDs with Bills. He would have caught it!
  14. I keep thinking this is the case too but the Rams beat Bengals in Superbowl after 2021 season. Chiefs beat Bills in 13 second divisional game but then lost to Bengals in AFC championship game.
  15. Bills did not play the Steelers in 2024 regular season.
  16. Yes Dwight Drane started for Leonard Smith in that Super Bowl. Smith had a nasty infection in his knee from turf burn and, as it turns out, never played in another NFL game. Smith hit like Taylor Rapp on speed.
  17. Some perspective here. Mack will be 34 in FEB 2025. That means he will be 1 year older than Von was when he signed with Bills in 2022. Mack decided to come back but previously stated he was considering retirement. IMHO best to let him pick a warm weather climate (he is from FLA) to pay his last contract.
  18. Bills rushed 3 DL and had Williams spy Lamar. Solomon, Jefferson and Epenesa were the rushers. There were 7 Bills in coverage scheme. https://www.nfl.com/videos/lamar-jackson-s-24-yard-td-strike-to-likely-trims-bills-lead-to-27-25-with-1-33-left
  19. I posted yesterday that the Chiefs have given up 784 yards on 147 carries or 5.33 YPC in their last 6 games of the season and in divisional round (excluding the Season Finale where they played backups vs DEN). They can be run on as HOU showed last week.
  20. I remember Chiefs shut Cook down in mid-Nov game and Bills only got to 103 total rushing yards on Josh's TD run for the last TD. The Chiefs have struggled versus the run since late NOV game vs Raiders up through Houston Playoff game. In their last 6 games (not counting last regular season game of KC backups vs Broncos) the Chiefs have given up 5.33 ypc on 147 opponent rushes for 784 yards. The Raiders, Browns, Steelers and Texans all put up big yards rushing on the Chiefs. In 2 games, including their playoff game, the Texans put up 233 Yards total on 46 carries for a 5 Yd Average. The Bills hardly used their 6 man rotation in 1st game vs Chiefs as the higher usage rate came after their week 12 bye. The Bills will run on KC and that will cause stress on their coverage if Brady uses Play Action out of the Jumbo formation. The TEs and RBs should be open.
  21. Clete Blakeman is the ref this week and Patty is 6-5 now with him as Ref.
  22. Flag Happy Crew but have also been Referee crew for Mahomes/Chiefs worse record/crew @ 6-5. Cletus Blakeman, what a name! https://atozsports.com/nfl/buffalo-bills-news/buffalo-bills-nfl-officiating-clete-blakeman-kansas-city-chiefs-patrick-mahomes-afc-championship-game/
  23. If you are referring to Harbaugh, he has only won one after 2012 season with Flacco at QB. Ravens also won another in 2000 with Brian Billick as Head Coach.
