So I was listening to "The opening drive" with Wilcots and Jordan palmer on the way to the office today. Palmer said without going into the details, he can promise Bills fans that he knows personally that this gesture has made a large impact on Josh. Talked about how lots of players will urge fans to donate to their good causes but that this was unsolicited and he's not seen anything quite like it. He went on to talk about how he understands all cities love their young qb's but he thinks the connection between Allen and the city of Buffalo is next level. It was a really cool listen from a dude that has Allen on speed dial

i dont disagree. but whats impressive about the ranking is that he doesnt have a td pumping that average way up. i'm a little annoyed he hasnt housed one yet in his 2 years, but he's a real asset. elite feel and vision on the field.

Earlier in the year on a podcast he said we white fans are hyping Allen because we were running out of white qb’s at the top of the qb list.... mind you, this was During his first 4 games before the drop off in play. Blatant racist. And I can’t believe that network just lets him go unchecked and blather on about it.

Nick Wright on “first things first” always has some gems... this mornings was Allen’s game doesn’t mean a thing because it was against the Seahawks defense and Tua is already the best QB in the East. This was coming from a guy that, just 2 weeks ago, praised Kyler Murray for out dueling Wilson.... but Allen’s game doesn’t count. Impressive takes.

Also is there a team with a better win resume than us right now? 5-3 fins 5-3 rams 5-3 raiders 6-2 hawks and our 2 losses are to teams that are a combined 14-3. Geez. He’ll most likely drop down to 3rd or 4th after our bye but it’s still impressive as hell.

Right. I think we can agree if we had played that schedule and were 6-1 the media would be totally slamming us for not playing anyone. I’ve not heard a peep from anyone in a media position about the hawks cupcake schedule up to this point.

So guess what would really concern me is the fact that our record when behind at halftime must be horrendous. But I haven’t gone back to look at the actual numbers.

Ya. The Vikings should have flat out beat them if they just kick the chip shot. Seahawks haven’t had a very tough road to 6-1 cam Newton hasn’t thrown on anyone this year and he carved them up even when they had adams on the field.

I think I read early in the week they weren’t even gonna bother with testing out Carson’s foot until Friday. So I guess that’s something to watch for tomorrow.

right. i was in and out of that game. i didnt notice it early on but definitely noticed it late in the game. maybe it was by design because of factors you mentioned or maybe it was because he was out of ideas and said "screw it. we cant freaking stop them so lets give this a whirl"..... i just remember thinking "wow! they sorta have wilson on his heels here. they might be onto something that others can us"

Well I can tell you from the last bit of the cardinals game I watched when the cards brought 6 and 7 men up to the LOS with none in dirt and dropped almost all of them sometimes and then heavily blitzed on others it made a real difference in the end of that game. It’s the exact reason Wilson threw his bad INT in OT. Cards were covering solid that way and manufactured a good amount of pressure keeping Wilson and that line guessing late in that game I have absolutely no numbers to back my claims. I just remember noticing that the defense was onto something late in the game

Right. D came out of the half and forced a punt and the offense promptly went 3 and out..... and then 3 and out on the very next possession.
