k. So here’s my weekly “it’s been since 2017 since we scored on defense so we’re due” post. ..... it’s been since 2017 since we’ve scored on defense so we’re due... tre came up 3 yds short yesterday darn it! Also is there a team with a better win resume than us right now? 5-3 fins 5-3 rams 5-3 raiders 6-2 hawks and our 2 losses are to teams that are a combined 14-3. Geez. He’ll most likely drop down to 3rd or 4th after our bye but it’s still impressive as hell.

....... The bills played today? how about Russel Wilson and DK Metcalf amirite?

Right. I think we can agree if we had played that schedule and were 6-1 the media would be totally slamming us for not playing anyone. I’ve not heard a peep from anyone in a media position about the hawks cupcake schedule up to this point.

So guess what would really concern me is the fact that our record when behind at halftime must be horrendous. But I haven’t gone back to look at the actual numbers.

Ya. The Vikings should have flat out beat them if they just kick the chip shot. Seahawks haven’t had a very tough road to 6-1 cam Newton hasn’t thrown on anyone this year and he carved them up even when they had adams on the field.

I think I read early in the week they weren’t even gonna bother with testing out Carson’s foot until Friday. So I guess that’s something to watch for tomorrow.

right. i was in and out of that game. i didnt notice it early on but definitely noticed it late in the game. maybe it was by design because of factors you mentioned or maybe it was because he was out of ideas and said "screw it. we cant freaking stop them so lets give this a whirl"..... i just remember thinking "wow! they sorta have wilson on his heels here. they might be onto something that others can us"

Well I can tell you from the last bit of the cardinals game I watched when the cards brought 6 and 7 men up to the LOS with none in dirt and dropped almost all of them sometimes and then heavily blitzed on others it made a real difference in the end of that game. It’s the exact reason Wilson threw his bad INT in OT. Cards were covering solid that way and manufactured a good amount of pressure keeping Wilson and that line guessing late in that game I have absolutely no numbers to back my claims. I just remember noticing that the defense was onto something late in the game

Right. D came out of the half and forced a punt and the offense promptly went 3 and out..... and then 3 and out on the very next possession.

Motor was just on for an interview a bit ago. Solid bit. Anyone with access to tv this morning can probably catch it again on the rerun.

it was actually 26 points and it was the 2nd lowest total of the chiefs 8 games. Also one of the 3 games this year they've been held under 30. The defense, for the most part, did their job that game. They obviously couldnt get off the field like they needed to at the end of the game and so thats what everyone remembers. But i was much more disappointed with the offense coming out of that game.

Titans d is rough. 25th in yards allowed per game and 18th in points allowed. Raiders, at 4-3, are a solid team IMO. 21st in yards allowed per game and 25th in points allowed per game. so going back to that guys point about not taking advantage. The fact we couldn’t run against the titans 31st ranked run d(at the time) is pathetic. But we did take advantage of a bad raiders d.

I think they're pretty solid vs the regardless of context. They are only allowing 3.9 per rush. Good for 5th in the league.
