  1. Eh. Conversely, find me a team that wants to see buffalo right now. He can. Don’t be so dramatic... I get that it’s sorta your thing. But stop it.
  2. Here's a nugget from Fairburns "10 final thoughts" before the finale. And just to clear it up DVOA puts strength of schedule into the equation. 3. If you’re looking for a stat to illustrate the Bills’ defensive turnaround, here it is: From Week 1 through Week 6, the Bills ranked 30th in defensive DVOA, according to Football Outsiders. From Week 7 through Week 16, the Bills rank sixth in defensive DVOA. The nine points the Bills allowed to the Patriots was a season low for Buffalo. This defense is a strength again.
  3. I'm gonna leave this in here because this post is made up of video clips and i cant seem to find the "Jones and Foxworth" thread. I have a feeling Foxworth did this to take some heat off of his prior comments but i suppose now i'll take him off my "list".....
  4. I guess my response to that would be, shouldn’t it be a bit scary to opposing teams that our QB is so good at the moment, our OC is designing plays for him to rip 30 yard friggin lasers while rolling out about full speed to his left in a blowout? Yikes.
  5. Agreeing with Greggtx plants you straight into the South Pole, bro. Sorry 😂
  6. Good stuff. Regarding point #2. I hated it when people said Allen needed to stop rolling out and tossing back into the field. Over his first 2 years I can remember plenty of plays where we got huge conversions and gains from that ability. You are right. He’s now about perfected it. Making him roll to his left is a defenses only real hope for a pressure to rattle him. Even that’s not certain anymore. And I don’t even think Allen rolling to his right should be considered a “pressure” anymore. If he starts rolling that way opposing fans may as well kiss that play goodbye. He’s gonna drive a stake through you when he rolls that way. and then onto point #8. I read a really cool write up on “The Athletic” about how Beane went to Farwell going into last offseason and told him to make a wish list. Top 2 guys on the list were Matakavich and Taiwan Jones. Beane went and got both and now here we are with a punter that is 5th in net average and a kickoff coverage unit that’s making stops inside the 20 look routine. Pretty cool.
  7. Zero with a FRRRREEEZZZZINNGGG cold take here. Lolol. I tried explaining back then that agreeing with Greggtx wasn’t necessarily the right direction to go in. Nailed this rebuttal to said cold take. Nice. ....Also got a chuckle when I saw usual suspects trying to lay down money on under 12 wins. I notice we don’t see nearly as much of either posters anymore. Funny how that works.
  8. Do you recall back a week or 2 before our first matchup with the Pats how he said NE was the 3rd best team in the AFC?. just classic @Penfield45 ..... CLASSIC. Im fairly certain that flowed right into him and Gene talking about how there was no way would could keep pace with the fins for the division.
  9. its great... i deleted my post though because i didnt see somebody else already posted it just above mine.
  10. You havnt been impressed with his constant bull rushes against backup rb’s on 3rd downs all year? 😂 Get the man a gold jacket
  11. And thats totally fair... explaining away their success against good qb's or cherry picking facts to support a lame point isnt.
  12. the d has been completely different since the jets game. if you cant see it that says way more about you than anything else. look at you just trying to explain away any solid performance against good qb's. this is foolishness. i mean..... "until the pic 6, pitt looked like a game"?? whats does that even mean? it was the 2nd freaking quarter. they had scored all of 7 points. what exactly are you getting at there? good lord dude.
  13. LOL. i see you conveniently left out Wilson, Herbert, and Big Ben all top qb's this year that we totally manhandled in this 2nd half. you arent fooling anyone man. stop it.
  14. well you're wrong... again.... rudolph just named starter.
  15. its been hinted that they might due to not having a bye all year. But with 2 straight home playoff games on the line i cant see it.
  16. Right? Lets pull out every qb's worst 5 games of the season and compare.... this reasoning is beyond stupid.
  17. i'm with you man.... his value to the D is LARGE... The problem is I've seen 3 different FA rankings lists for this offseason and all 3 had him as the TOP off the ball LB and top 20 available player. He's gonna have options and he's gonna have big offers.
  18. So i think its pretty clear the coaches have been more aggressive, the D-Line has gelled and Milano coming back has made an impact. These numbers back that up! Our Defense is now: 10th in yards allowed per game! 14th in points allowed 13th in Sacks 8th in Passer rating allowed 5th in turnovers 17th in 3rd down %...... They were 31st back in mid-october.... IMO this all comes from new players finally finding their groove, a good stretch of health, and the coaches finally trusting these guys enough to unleash them. The run D still leaves something to be desired but I would argue that this unit has been playing top ten caliber ball for over a month now.
  19. i mean.... it should bother you personally that you had the ability to say some of the things you said....
