  1. There are enough holes/needs on this team where more than likely 3 of those picks would be starters. But for example say they pick a a RB with one of them. Is he gonna start? Probably not, but is a solid RB2 a need? Yep It’s all hypothetical and in fun... Yes that could happen. I just think this FO is more of a Pats draft style of valuing picks.
  2. I like a few others on here feel the Bills will try to trade down into the 2nd using one of their first to gain more picks. Cleveland has picks 35 & 63 in the 2nd round. The value of those picks line up enough with our 22nd overall. I would love to have picks 21, 35, 53, 55 & 63. You sell it to Cleveland by saying “would you rather have 5 picks in the top 63... or 4 picks in the top 33?” That’s damn near 4 1st round picks. But imagine if the Bills could fill there needs and have 5 picks in top 63....
  3. I’m just saying I think he maxed out in college and won’t be the animal you say in the league. Like Danny Shelton
  4. Not a fan of Via. Not a fan of Hernandez. Via I think get away with a lot of things just due to strength. He kind of a one trick pony and I feel he will struggle in the League. Hernandez I feel just doesn’t have the length.
  5. 3 different schemes in 4 years. He has the size, arm strength, mechanics etc. Obvioisly him being at WKU hurts him slightly. But it I think he has big potential. The thing that’s gonna vault him up in early 2nd or somewhere in the 3rd is, Knowledge, what’s between the ears, Character, Leadership etc. Think he checks a lot of boxes and I won’t be surprised if he goes top 20 picks of round 2. Yes somewhere around 50.
  6. Ferguson’s release is gonna hurt him. Folks have said the Memphis offense he ran was QB friendly too. He brings the ball way down some what like EJ did. But yes they are right there together. Just think the Senior Bowl practices help some of these guys. I give Falk the slight advantage.
  7. Yep that’s why see a trade down. They get Phillips, then get 2 LBs, a DE, TE and OL with first 6 picks. But a trade down must happen.
  8. I’d be more willing to bet Falk and White go in the Top 100. White possibly going Top 64.
  9. Who’s gonna bet on a WAG?
  10. Falk is PAC12 all time leader in passing yards, he’s got talent and showed pretty well this week in mobile. I’m just assuming teams reach for these guys as they always do. I just feel the Bills are eye balling one of these 3rd round type guys and they’re gonna pull the trigger. Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Mayfield And Maybe Rudolph go rd 1. Jackson early rd 2 That leaves White, Falk and maybe Ferguson. Lauletta shortly after. i just don’t see there not being a QB drafted for over 2 full rounds, and the Bills getting their pick of those 4. Couple of those guys go in the 3rd. Meaning Bills pull the trigger rd 2. With the 7th QB drafted.
  11. Based on there is about 8 worthy QBs of being drafted in the top 3 rounds. To ensure they get someone worthy they will reach with the pick from the Rams. Instead of waiting til 3/4 the way in round 3. Bills will still get a Vet QB, let Peterman and Rookie battle for Backup.
  12. Meaning probably 6-7 QBs will be off the board and I think Falk and White go around pick 75-95. So mid 3rd. I feel yes they are 4th rd guys, have some potential. But a lot of teams need A QB. Even if it’s just insurance.
  13. I think our last pick in the 2nd will be a QB. I also think we trade pick 21 for an early 2nd, a 3rd round comp pick and a 3rd in 2019 draft. Draft Harrison Phillips at 22. That leaves Bills with three 2nd round picks and two 3rd round picks.
  14. Supposedly at the Senior Bowl Luke Falk was leaps ahead of QBs when it came to anticipation and timing. Not sure how his accuracy and velocity were. But id suspect Falk and White will be in play day 3 early in the 3rd
  15. Players I’m looking at... With a first round pick trade, gain an early 2nd and comp 3rd. 1.Harrison Phillips DT 2.Hayden Hurst TE Chad Thomas DE Nick DeLuca ILB 3. Marquise Haynes OLB/DE Rankin or Crosby OT Frank Ragnow G/C 4. Matt White QB Dont see us grabbing a QB in round 1. Unless someone slides who they feel is a top 10.... Allen, Baker? I think it will be a FA QB.
  16. Seriously Murphy bores me!
  17. No he won’t. He’s been hurt way too much, and his stats don’t say $9M per.... he definitely not $3-4, but he should score 4 yr $22-25M, 5.5-6 per. If he were able to play all 16 games this year he might have been in the 7-8 per range.
  18. We all know a QB change is coming so there’s no reason to put that. I want the Bills to resign EJ Gaines and sign Jeff Janis for the #4 WR spot, ST and return man.
  19. I think he took the spot of a Senior who would die to play!!! He will have plenty of opportunity to Showcase his potential and interview. Its like in the Military when someone get a line number to promote, but knows they are getting out. Basically taking the opportunity away from someone else.
  20. If Cleveland lands a vet QB build up Oline they could be a turn around team next year.
  21. Jackson just doesn’t scream 10 year franchise QB. More like 3 year wonder dual threat and fades away.
  22. No team will give a top 45 pick for Smith. It will be a late 2nd more than likely a 3rd plus a conditional pick in 2019. Like a 5th that could turn to a 4th with production and play.
  23. Tyrod has everything to do with this. It shows the potential someone like Alex Smith can bring to this team. You may not want to accept that Alex Smith is a top 10 QB and constantly plays at or above that level but he does and has shown to be a QB that should be respected. The first 6 games of the year KC was dang near Super Bowl favorites, Smith had a great year all year. The coaching blunders and defense let KC down. That being said this team could have easily won 10 games this year. 10 games with Tyrod. With Alex Smith I feel the Bills beat the Jets and the Bengals. Some games we won barely may have not been as close. That’s 11 wins! Build through the draft etc the Bills could contend in the next couple years. Tyrod Bottom 5. Alex Smith over and over has proven to be a top 10 QB a majority of the time. Think about what that could provide over a QB at the bottom.
  24. 50-60% of the time Alex Smith is easily a top 10 QB. But 50-60% of the time Tyrod is a bottom 10 QB. And I don’t want to hear about how many ints he throws, or him running around etc. He’s at the Bottom!
  25. They would cut him... which may drop his value. But I doubt it with the amount of team who need a QB. I’m sticking with a 2nd. Dont know if teams with high 2nd Would deal them. May not want too and shoot for early 3rd.
