I just can’t muster the Brady hate some of you have. Im in my 30’s, so he’s been the bane of my sports existence for as long as I know, but I don’t mind him post-NE.

Mark Cuban is completely incapable of attracting stars to Dallas so this may be a good thing.

Pretty sure the GOP’s entire strategy was to hope Kemp could pull Walker across the finish line on election night. Ever since then there’s about 50 Warnock commercials to every 1 Walker commercial. So, expect Georgia to send a wildly progressive false preacher back to the Senate because Georgia Republicans are incapable of putting forth a competent challenger to a weak Senator nobody down here really cares for.

Dalton out there like “help me help you” Not sure what else he can do out there. He’s playing great these past few drives.
-
Not going to lie .. that almost makes me think we may end up signing him, given the secrecy in which Beane moves.
-
That was a reason given, but since then it sounds like Cooper wouldn’t get vaxxed and Jerry Jones shipped him out over it.

The only person I would worry about "offending" per se, would be Poyer, as an OBJ deal for next year pretty much slams the door shut (it would seem) on him being here next year. I tend to think Poyer already knows that, especially with us paying him a little extra this season to show him our appreciation, but that's the one... Not a huge worry, but if OBJ isn't helping us win THIS YEAR, I could see Poyer feeling slighted given he's giving this team his all this year, for that sole purpose.. to win a Super Bowl.
-
I don't necessarily disagree, I just think the report that he may not play this year was very convenient for the Giants... to come out right after he visited them. I want OBJ here, but will admit that some of the hype has worn off with him not working out for anyone.
-
If he truly can't play this season (not sure I buy that), then why would the Cowboys want him for his price tag either? That story came out the day of/after he met with the Giants. Color me skeptical that it wasn't put out there by the one team who OBJ makes the most sense for if he can't contribute this year.

The day after Jimmy G goes down for the season. Interesting…

Any chance Russ goes in the wayback machine for one of the Chiefs game? No?.. oh, ok. Seahawks game is tough, but man that Chiefs schedule is cake. Raiders game final weekend is sneaky.. Raiders will be 10-6 if they win their next four games. Next four games.. Rams, Pats, Steelers, Niners...

Would the Bengals Defensive Blueprint Work Against Bills/Allen
SCBills replied to BillsGuyOutWest's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure they'd want to do it, unless necessary, in the regular season game.. but in the Playoffs, as other have mentioned Mahomes is great at scrambling, whereas Josh is a runner.. Bills would likely just bludgeon those light boxes with QB runs until they get out of it. -
Ok… well we play the Fins again. If they lose today, but beat us, they have the tiebreaker anyway. We need to beat them, potentially, regardless. Chiefs, we have no control over.
-
Chiefs. It’s not even close. We still have a chance at knocking off the Dolphins, at home. Chiefs keep finding ways to win, and their schedule isn’t exactly daunting after today.
-
Let’s hope around 7:30-8 pm we can all come back and say the Chiefs issues are catching up to them. Until then, they’ve taken a ton of swings to help Mahomes on offense (OL, WR, RB, TE) and are undefeated since we played them. Unless you believe they’re a paper tiger (we know they’re not), it’s hard to really point to all these flaws when they literally haven’t lost since playing us. Again… I would love nothing more than to discuss later tonight how they have issues of their own and no longer control their destiny to have Mahomes never play a road playoff game.
-
I don’t trust the 49ers, at all. Good team, headache in the playoffs, but I’m not overly impressed. My only concern, if I’m a Dolphins fan, still remains after today .. can Tua and the Miami offense operate to the same level in the cold. We know Hill can. He’s done it in KC, but we still haven’t seen Tua go into a cold and/or windy, snowy game and show he can do it. Home field for Miami is probably twice as important for them than Buffalo or KC (even though we’ve never seen Mahomes on the road)

Bills running game is always going to be interesting because everyone knows that come postseason, Allen will be unleashed. Can’t do that week in, week out, in the regular season - hence the need to develop a reliable running game - but come playoff time Allen draws, Allen designed sweeps, Allen quicker to scramble etc.. Will be interesting to see if there’s less of that if we can reliably get 5 ypc out of our backs.

Would Cole Beasley come back to Buffalo?
SCBills replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think McKenzie has been solid the past two weeks. Hopefully that continues, and perhaps even grows as the season progresses down the stretch. That said, if we don’t land OBJ, I’d absolutely reach out to Beasley to gauge interest. Like John Brown, maybe he doesn’t have a ton left, but we only need (now) 5 more games and the postseason out of them. Like John Brown, he already has built in chemistry with Allen. If he’s willing to sign a cheap contract and stay off Twitter.. welcome back. -
Chiefs at Bengals Game thread - 4:25 PM Kickoff
SCBills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Today feels like “Moving Day” in major golf tournaments.. Setting up for the stretch run. -
I mean, if he wants to come back on a cheap contract.. sure. … as depth to our hopefully Day 1/Day 2 OL pick(s).
-
He hasn’t been playing until injuries hit the past two games. 5 for 63 and 5 for 36. Not trying to scare anyone. Chiefs defense is suspect and their offense revolves around Mahomes & Kelce, but they’ve always been obsessive in adding weapons (and now an OL). I personally don’t think their starting OL is much better than ours, but they signed Juju, signed MVS, traded for Toney, signed Edwards, drafted Moore. Do you think the Bills & Chiefs are the same teams that played Week 6? Hopefully they slip up today, but they’ve not lost since they played us. 5-0, to our now 4-2. Theyve been steady, whereas we went into a swoon and are trying to find ourselves again.

Ah, ok.. much better. Zelensky has dissolved the media, banned free speech, banned opposition political parties and is now banning opposition religious institutions. All while still supporting Azov and having plenty of documented human rights abuses being leveled at the Ukrainian army themselves. War is ugly, and Russia is in the wrong, but Zelensky isn’t some sympathetic figure.. he’s systemically enforcing authoritarian tactics while we just keep sending him money. In a never ending proxy war that will only keep getting people killed.

Rams fans are fine with punting on this season by leaning on last years Super Bowl, but I’m not sure how long that lasts.. Anytime anyone trades a high pick or hands out a big contract, people inevitably start invoking the Rams this season, but I don’t think they truly grasp how all-in and reckless they were in building that Super Bowl winner. They basically did our one Diggs trade, but over and over and over and with way more picks involved. Their star pass rusher left in FA. Their QB is breaking down. Their star DT flirted with retirement. For the sake of their GM’s career with LA, he is incredibly lucky that the Bills or Chiefs didn’t make it out of the AFC.
