  1. I mean, it honestly doesn’t say a ton… yet. EDGE typically takes a while to develop, unless you’re drafting in the top 5. Guys like TJ Watt developing so quickly are rare, and he had 7 sacks his first year. Good, but not dominant as a rookie. Point definitely valid re: Star, Addison etc.
  2. While I believe we need to A) draft with more urgency or B) become more aggressive…. We had KC beat. That loss is on the coaches.
  3. Salary aside, I like Cooper on a team with a lead dog. He’s a 1b, not a 1a in my opinion. Better than a #2 WR, but not close to the Hop, Diggs, Hill, DK, Kupp etc realm. If a team like the Bills could make it a fit, he’d light it up. But going to a run heavy team with a sus QB… screams to me that Cle desperately needs to know if Baker is the guy and a $20M per Cooper is the best they can give him, knowing WR FA’s aren’t going there.
  4. Surely you understand what the poster is saying, no? Look at the years WR’s have with Allen vs the years WR’s have with Baker. Allen elevates everyone he plays with. Baker, the opposite.
  5. The comments in that tweet thread are going about as expected… Poor Amari
  6. Honestly, who cares. If someone posts a trade rumor that you think is ridiculous, just move on. I get it when someone posts something from “EPSN”, but this - albeit far fetched - isn’t that. Relax. It’s almost FA. Let people speculate, my goodness.
  7. As much as I’m weary of McCaffrey’s injury history, I’d do this. If we aren’t willing to pull a LA Rams and mortgage the future to win (I’m not saying I disagree with being more conservative) you’ve got to take some risks. Buffalo has shown, knock on wood, that we can keep players healthy. McCaffrey also won’t be a workhorse here. Singletary is likely still the lead back and CMC comes in spell him, two back sets, and play in the slot. He’ll get his touches, but they will be more in space and less grinding through big bodies.
  8. If I had to guess, Beane is going to have a number for some top FA’s, but it will require them taking a bit less to play for us. Example: If we want Kirk, 3 years/$45 mil. But there may be teams that offer 3 years/$50mil. We’ll be in a lot of rumors, because how good we are and league-wide reputation makes us desirable, but I’m preparing myself for Chandler Jones, Christian Kirk etc going elsewhere. Hope I’m wrong.. but I do think we may make an expected splash move or two.. unlike last year, there is way too much smoke in regards to us and bigger name FA’s/trades.
  9. If I had to guess, they’re offering more money. Bias, of course, but all things equal, I don’t see how a guy from nearby turns down a legit contender to go to the AFCW thunderdome.
  10. Adding DK to the mix makes this ridiculous, but yea.. this is absolutely realistic. As much as I’d cringe at, yet another, high defensive pick… I can’t lie… a starting DL of Jones-Davis-Oliver-Rousseau is an absolute monster.
  11. Oh, I get it. It’s still a metric I never want to be reminded of in regards to last years Bills Defense.
  12. Nothing triggers me more than people referring to Buffalo as “the top ranked defense” but I agree… Moving off Hyde would be quite the head scratcher.
  13. Carolina makes all the sense in the world. Low key media market. Only two hours from Clemson and four hours from his hometown
  14. Great point about the draft. The past two years we’ve used our highest picks on guys we knew would take time. So.. let’s do it again?.. with guys he doesn’t even have starting. Stop it. We need our draft picks to hit in Year 1 now… not give us crumbs in their early, cheap years - then finally flash in Year 3/4 right before we have to pay them.
  15. Really just the Breer comment about a big name player reaching out to the Bills. That’s the only one I’ve seen.
  16. Don’t love it. Don’t hate it. If we cut Star, post 6/1, most of this makes sense. That DL would be stout, especially if any of the young guys make a jump. His RB situation is bizarre though. Singletary, McKinnon, Bolden, Moss, Chandler…. 5 RB’s?
  17. He’s certainly not known as a beast blocker, but he’s a legit WR talent and I’m sure he can block better than our 11 personnel featuring Beasley/McKenzie last year.
  18. Im actually open to this. This wouldn’t just be “2 TE sets” in the traditional sense. Diggs/Davis, with Knox/Engram is quite the 12 personnel matchup issue for anyone attempting to defend us. Run out of it. Pass out of it. Flex Engram out to the slot.
  19. I don't mind the Kumerow signing, but I would agree that with Neal/Kumerow, it's a legit argument to wonder why Matakevich/Jones are still on the roster.
  20. Prior to this signing, we had Diggs, Davis and two late round picks that we have no clue about. Kumerow gives us a special teams player as WR depth, who Josh has experience with. How could anyone be upset with this? I highly doubt he's any higher than WR5 come September.
  21. I don’t trust someone who immediately trusts the, obviously, panic-induced rapid response given out re: Nuland’s unplanned admission. Maybe it’s nothing, but it sure doesn’t seem like nothing, and the govt/media coordinated response should make everyone very skeptical.
  22. I voted no, but I wouldn’t be outraged if we went ahead with it. That said.. war with Russia isn’t a game and nuclear war would change the world forever. Also, Ukraine/Russia is far more complex than most being manipulated into pushing our government into making life-altering decisions are realizing. We’re basically going to war over a family dispute across the ocean. Look up their history.. this isn’t some out of nowhere aggression. Putin is an evil man, but innocent people are being decimated by evil around the globe (China, Yemen immediately come to mind) and we look the other way. This could all end if Ukraine and Russia came to a peace agreement. I don’t believe Putin wants all of Ukraine. If others feel different, ok… but we’re choosing an option to make Ukraine the next Vietnam. That benefits nobody, aside from politicians and Warhawks who want to use Ukrainian blood as a lubricant for a proxy war against Russia.
  23. Then Jennifer Griffin came on Hannity immediately after to read some Pentagon talking points to try and refute Tucker.
  24. I hate this thread so much.. Mahomes gets heavy investment in his OL, a 1st round RB, Kelce, Hill, Hardman… constant reinforcements.. Josh Allen: “May I have a crumb, sir…”
