  1. Perhaps all we need is growth, some better injury luck and a tinkering here and there. I won’t say that can't suffice. On paper, even with the question mark at MLB, this roster (once healthy) is far more talented than the one that finished the season. That being said, on paper, when compared to Burrow and Mahomes, both have better OL’s than we do and with Burrow, clearly better proven weapons.. Allen and Mahomes probably equivalent in that department.
  2. Not gonna lie … that Tim Graham tweet is a curveball. It’s obvious there’s smoke. This isn’t some fan/internet driven story. It’s been confirmed by both connected reporters and connected athletes. I don’t doubt at all that Beane is out on the Cardinals current asking price. As is, apparently, the entire NFL. I do very much doubt, if it is to be gleaned from Graham’s tweet, that this is (or was) some far fetched dream. I think odds are probably less than 50/50 that we trade for him at this point, but the posters being all “ahhh see!!!” are taking a bizarre premature victory lap … Graham’s tweet is the outlier, not the consensus reporting. I do give his reporting more weight than say, Albright, PacMan Jones, Jeremiah etc., but it’s certainly a change in narrative from everything we’ve been hearing. “Bills don’t leak”… except to Tim Graham? Who knows … I am starting to not care at this point. I think Arizona is being ridiculous and it is what it is now.
  3. Some of that is junk… just like most bills targeting all kinds of people that never see a vote. Some of that is legitimate legislation to protect kids and womens spaces…. Because, again, you’ve managed to lump the T’s in with the LGB’s.
  4. How are lesbians, gays and bisexuals being harassed? Be specific. And if you utter the words “Don’t Say Gay”, so help me God…
  5. NFL about to send out a memo about Philadelphia man, Meek Mill.
  6. Who’s harassing them? If someone wants to be trans, be trans. Live your life. Why does that mean we need to push gender ideology in schools, medically transition adolescents experiencing gender dysphoria and allow biological males to compete in womens sports and/or inhabit womens spaces? Then, if one is to speak out, they demand consequences. If one is to challenge the narrative, they violently protest. If one is to use their platform to oppose any aspect of their movement, they are targeted with death threats and verbal attacks. Who’s harassing who? Ill let someone who’s more passionate than me about 2A address your idiotic “assault rifle” comment.
  7. This is the way. Stop pushing back on stuff like this. Let them do it. Then sit back and wait as every other minority starts voting Republican. Let them give black people priority over Latinos. Let them allow violence and crime in their Asian communities. Let them destroy education in Indian communities. These are all ethnic groups more socially aligned with Republicans, yet tend to vote split or lean Dem. Let them experience the policies they truly want for them. It’s the only way.
  8. The fact we are a country awash in guns .. and that won’t change no matter how much you want it to. The other fact is that we are a country awash in mental illness. This looks to be driven by a disturbed trans individual, the shooting potentially motivated by their ideology. (A community that has become increasingly rigid, confrontational and violent) Many shootings are also done by lonely, isolated young straight males. We need to figure out why so many people in this country are angry, depressed and violent. That would go much further than trying to ban guns in a country that is awash in them. All that does is remove them from the hands of law abiding citizens.
  9. Seems pretty clear the shooters transgender ideology played a role in this killing. Quite enough smoke out there from various legitimate sources on Twitter. I struggle with commenting on the trans community. I truly believe it’s a mental disorder and I don’t want to belittle or attack people that are truly going through something I can’t understand. That being said … when they force us into compliance and, as of recent, have resorted to violence (look up the event in New Zealand), it’s time to take notice. Real glad the Sabres are pulling the “wear the pin” bs tonight. Had to sit through Bulldog’s idiotic political rantings on WGR this afternoon just so I could hear about any developments from the league meetings. Im pretty open minded … I’m starting to lose my patience with this agenda. The Pride/LGBTQ movement is soooo far from the one I supported growing up. Parades, events, awareness … I still believe in it. I still believe in equality. I’ve grown to despise this once inclusive movement hijacked by extremists.
  10. If they sign Phillips and still bring in Calais Campbell for a visit, I’ll start to let myself dream…
  11. As long as they give him a strong OL and decent running game, they have every right to demand Josh chill out on the hits he takes outside the pocket. There is a time and place to unleash Allen, but when he tears up his UCL, spends all week trying to find a way to get cleared to play, and then tries to punch the ball out on a turnover with his bad arm … it’s clear he needs to be coached on this.
  12. Ed Oliver is the one guy holding me back from wondering how creative we may get at LB. If we move him and roll with 4 big bodies (FA/Draft) I could definitely see us getting pretty creative in the back 7.... I just don't see how we do that with a guy who already gets washed in certain situations in Oliver.
  13. Interesting.. Cover 1 Air-Raid hit up a Rams podcaster on Twitter and asked about Rapp. The podcaster said he's up and down at Safety and always saw Rapp as more of a pseudo-linebacker.
  14. No big moves yet, but I have to admit.. Beane is upgrading everywhere on the roster: LG WR4 WR5 RB2 IOL depth S depth
  15. Have to wonder if Rapp saw the Safety market is a disaster this year, sees what the Bills did with Poyer, and decided to see if he can earn a multi-year contract here for the future by joining the Bills for a year. At least, that's my thought process. Rapp seemed like an ok starter option in free agency.
  16. This seems super random...
  17. This Harbaugh press conference at the league meeting isn't awkward at all.... The second he sits down, first question to him "Lamar just tweeted....."
  18. Do you move off Tre White after next year in that scenario? Bills have an out after this coming year and I think that could be on the table regardless of what they do this year.
  19. Ask, and you shall receive.
  20. I think a KC fan was on here and told us they really only have one more lever left to pull … that would be a Chris Jones extension. I have no idea why they wouldn’t do that. He’s dominant and only 28. Spotrac has him with a 28M cap hit and then a UFA in ‘24.
  21. I think we need a couple things: -OL improvement. McGovern is a good start. Edwards, also helpful. Could be as simple as a Year 2 jump in Kromers scheme and Brown getting better. Would love a Tackle at 27 though. -Improved pass rush. Again, could be as simple as just getting Von back at some point. Would love an added vet pass rush specialist though. -WR2/3 upgrade. Could be Hopkins. Could be a high draft pick .. Problem with the draft is who knows what’s there at 27 or RD2 for that matter. I even think someone like Zay Flowers in the slot could be that missing piece, but will he be there?
  22. Even their big splash Orlando Brown signing .. they front-loaded it because they have room to pay cash to cap before Burrow & Chase hit. Bills/Chiefs would be playing cap games with that contract to load up this year knowing the future cap games they can play with a massive QB contract.
  23. Unless he’s a noticeable difference maker - Id be 100% ok cutting or trading Tre White after this season. White’s 2024 out alleviates any real or perceived cap issues and if we extend Hyde one year to match Poyer, we can draft a corner to go opposite Year 3 Elam, still with the benefit of a vet Safety duo behind them in their rookie year. Regarding Dawkins, he’s another down year away from being moved inside to Guard. If I’m Beane, I’m not touching those two contracts. They both need to win their future spots on the team this year. Id rather extend Hyde and Jones, then throw in a small draft comp bump for them to pick up the 1-2M we’d still need OR trade Oliver, sign Hopkins, restructure and then see if we can get a 1-2 guys like Calais Campbell, Poona Ford or Justin Houston/Melvin Ingram etc.
  24. KC is in the best position right now because they moved Tyreek Hill and hit on draft picks. Have a ton of draft picks this year as well. There’s really no sense in arguing … Veach has killed it. What is true, is that Kelce is getting up there in age and let’s see if their draft picks keep progressing. If they do, we will continue to chase them unless Beane absolutely crushes this draft and guys like Bates, McGovern and Brown all make jumps to solidify the OL (all on affordable multi-year contracts). The Bills can also look better than KC cap wise if they move off a big contract like Tre White for some reason after this season. Who knows what will happen. The Bengals are a different story. They have so many big $$$ players coming due and the wild card is whether their owner can pay beyond their typical financial philosophy. He does not have the cash flow of the ownership for BUF and KC.
