  1. It’s absolutely insane. We’re reacting at home EXACTLY the same way we did after 9/11. -Western way is the only way -X people are bad -Suspend personal freedoms under the guise of imminent danger -American involvement in a country that has nothing to do with us is necessary -Wrap yourself in the flag to deflect any criticism
  2. If Jameson Williams is there at 25, I think we take him. He should be back to full speed/ability by the middle of the season, at the latest. And if he never got hurt, there is zero chance he’d be there when we pick. Elite speed/talent out of the slot. Fits in perfectly with Diggs and Davis.
  3. I see both sides of it for sure. Easy for us to (now) say they should trade him… Many of us would have killed for a Derek Carr type QB during the drought.
  4. Clemency review to forgive court ordered fines of ex-felons in Florida. Nikki Fried, amongst others, were involved with state GOP on this.
  5. This entire topic was discussed in the other thread, with links to the bipartisan reform done to allow clemency review to forgive, on a case by case basis, the court-ordered fines they have to pay in order to receive their voting rights back. Ex-Felons having to pay court ordered fines to receive voting rights isn’t Florida- specific, btw.. I believe ex-felons should be able to vote, and I’d like them to expedite clemency review for those that are unable to pay their court-ordered fines. Like I said in the other thread though.. this is quite the hill to die on if this is your big “A-Ha” in regards to Jim Crow 2.0.
  6. Still pushing that talking point even though you failed to make it in the other thread. You were exposed as not understanding Florida law regarding ex-felons and voting access, so I suppose I’ll ask you again.. Give me some specific examples of modern day “Jim Crow”.
  7. Valid point ha. Cowboys to overrated skill players is Bills to overrated rotational defensive linemen
  8. Who had the country of Ukraine trying to cancel Coca-Cola on their 2022 war bingo card?
  9. Isn’t Brian Griese the guy who came on WGR and laughed at Chris Brown’s assertion that Josh Allen was an MVP candidate heading into the Niners game in 2020?
  10. WHEN we win a Super Bowl, there will be players who, even if they aren’t on the team, we will remember as the building blocks that got us there. Cole Beasley will certainly be one of those guys.
  11. Dak Prescott/Lamar Jackson dilemma with Derek Carr. Not good enough to make you a year in/year out contender. Not much postseason success. Will require substantial investment. However… arguably a Top 10-12 QB and do you really want to start over when you know your QB is in the upper third conversation?
  12. You sound like Blockbuster execs when discussing Netflix
  13. We helped overthrow the Ukrainian pro-Russia government. We pushed Ukraine to align with the West without ever really having an intention to integrate them into NATO. We funded, and Canada trained, neo-Nazi militias in the south and east of Ukraine to battle Russian separatists. Adam Schiff stated “We arm Ukraine to fight Russia over there so we don’t have to fight them over here” Lindsey Graham, Amy Klobuchar and John McCain went over there in 2016 promising 2017 to be a year of aggression towards Russia, but then Trump got elected and it never materialized. Yes, we got them to give up nukes. We’ve basically used them as a proxy for the West to stage aggression towards Russia. They’ve been a corrupt government that we’ve been able to buy a lot of influence in, and line the pockets of the sons of politicians. Nothing excuses Putin’s full scale invasion and brutality, but we led Ukraine down this road.
  14. I follow plenty of people on both sides.. and many of them are open to discussing issues Western media won’t touch. Aaron Mate, Jimmy Dore, Maajid Nawaz and Krystal Ball/Saager Enjati are all willing to discuss how we are being fed a narrative and America/NATO are partly responsible for leading Ukraine down a road that inevitably led here.. All the while with the West never having any intention of protecting them, as we see.
  15. Its fairly easy when you spend some time learning about situations from independent sources/journalists while not gargling the approved narrative du jour
  16. Im not exactly in favor of keeping Beas, but I love the guy as a person. The funny thing is, they won’t say a word about guys like Davis or Brown, who are the types of guys that Beasley was speaking out to protect.
  17. This term is exactly why I think we need to, not only move off him, but some other guys that we will/may move off… That term is “rock solid” We have too many “rock solid” guys and not enough game-changers. We have 3 actual game-changers, and one is entering the season coming off an injury. Allen, Diggs, White.. that’s it. Nobody else has shown the consistency required to be viewed as a true game-changer. Lots of “rock solid” guys though… which can be enough if we just depend on Josh Allen to go Super Saiyan every Playoff run… but that’s not fair to him, and also can come up short when our coaches decide to spaz in the final 13 seconds.
  18. -Ghost of Kyiv -Snake Island -Holocaust Memorial was destroyed -Nuclear Plant was hit by Russian artillery All stories have turned out to be entirely, or mostly, false. -All reporting is sourcing unverified Ukrainian officials -Zero discussion aside from Tucker, Mehdi Hasan over how America/NATO is partly responsible for stringing Ukraine along while provoking Russia.
  19. Could be in response to us approaching him about taking less or he could just be reading the tea leaves.. Last year of his deal. Rumored interest in a legitimate TE2 Verified interest in Jameson Williams, a slot WR
  20. Made them pay court-ordered fines, with the ability to go before a clemency court to have them forgiven on a case by case basis. Figured I’d clarify that for everyone since you’re now goal-post moving and incorrectly framing the position. Again, I am probably more on your side in regards to felon votings rights than opposed, but if that’s all you’ve got in regards to “voter suppression”, we can probably close the book on this discussion.
  21. This. Love Beas. Like McKenzie. It’s time to move on from both of them if I’m Beane/McDermott. Diggs & Davis are a legit duo, but the offense can go to another level if our 3-wide includes a legitimate All-Around WR/Playmaker with speed.
  22. I love the guy, and he had a great few years here, but sign me up for a guy like Jameson Williams to take our offense to the next level. Regardless, with Knox’s emergence, it affects the portion of the field Beas works. Kind of redundant - especially if we’re looking to upgrade TE2
  23. I’m for allowing ex-felons to vote, generally speaking, but that’s a weird hill to die on if you’re going to attack someone for “voter suppression” Also, to your post, not exactly.. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.clickorlando.com/news/florida/2021/03/10/felons-can-get-voting-rights-back-sooner-under-floridas-new-clemency-plan/%3foutputType=amp
  24. Lindsey Graham on Hannity, then doubling down on Twitter, calling for the assassination of Putin. Here he is in 2016 with McCain and Klobuchar talking about a plan to go on the offensive against Russia in 2017. As an aside… Adam Schiff, in front of Congress during the Trump Presidency, made the case that we arm Ukraine to fight Russia over there, rather than over here. I can’t imagine why Russia views the Western role in Ukraine as provocative.
