  1. Carolina makes all the sense in the world. Low key media market. Only two hours from Clemson and four hours from his hometown
  2. Great point about the draft. The past two years we’ve used our highest picks on guys we knew would take time. So.. let’s do it again?.. with guys he doesn’t even have starting. Stop it. We need our draft picks to hit in Year 1 now… not give us crumbs in their early, cheap years - then finally flash in Year 3/4 right before we have to pay them.
  3. Really just the Breer comment about a big name player reaching out to the Bills. That’s the only one I’ve seen.
  4. Don’t love it. Don’t hate it. If we cut Star, post 6/1, most of this makes sense. That DL would be stout, especially if any of the young guys make a jump. His RB situation is bizarre though. Singletary, McKinnon, Bolden, Moss, Chandler…. 5 RB’s?
  5. He’s certainly not known as a beast blocker, but he’s a legit WR talent and I’m sure he can block better than our 11 personnel featuring Beasley/McKenzie last year.
  6. Im actually open to this. This wouldn’t just be “2 TE sets” in the traditional sense. Diggs/Davis, with Knox/Engram is quite the 12 personnel matchup issue for anyone attempting to defend us. Run out of it. Pass out of it. Flex Engram out to the slot.
  7. I don't mind the Kumerow signing, but I would agree that with Neal/Kumerow, it's a legit argument to wonder why Matakevich/Jones are still on the roster.
  8. Prior to this signing, we had Diggs, Davis and two late round picks that we have no clue about. Kumerow gives us a special teams player as WR depth, who Josh has experience with. How could anyone be upset with this? I highly doubt he's any higher than WR5 come September.
  9. I don’t trust someone who immediately trusts the, obviously, panic-induced rapid response given out re: Nuland’s unplanned admission. Maybe it’s nothing, but it sure doesn’t seem like nothing, and the govt/media coordinated response should make everyone very skeptical.
  10. I voted no, but I wouldn’t be outraged if we went ahead with it. That said.. war with Russia isn’t a game and nuclear war would change the world forever. Also, Ukraine/Russia is far more complex than most being manipulated into pushing our government into making life-altering decisions are realizing. We’re basically going to war over a family dispute across the ocean. Look up their history.. this isn’t some out of nowhere aggression. Putin is an evil man, but innocent people are being decimated by evil around the globe (China, Yemen immediately come to mind) and we look the other way. This could all end if Ukraine and Russia came to a peace agreement. I don’t believe Putin wants all of Ukraine. If others feel different, ok… but we’re choosing an option to make Ukraine the next Vietnam. That benefits nobody, aside from politicians and Warhawks who want to use Ukrainian blood as a lubricant for a proxy war against Russia.
  11. Then Jennifer Griffin came on Hannity immediately after to read some Pentagon talking points to try and refute Tucker.
  12. I hate this thread so much.. Mahomes gets heavy investment in his OL, a 1st round RB, Kelce, Hill, Hardman… constant reinforcements.. Josh Allen: “May I have a crumb, sir…”
  13. So what’s the plan? Turn Ukraine into Vietnam? Seems so… Good for those who want proxy wars against Russia Not good for actual Ukrainians
  14. They’ll give Ukraine planes, but they don’t want to go in alone and risk Russian response while NATO pulls a “hey, wasn’t us..” and then also not have planes coming in to replenish their Air Force.
  15. The opponents of the Florida bill want to groom children, so perhaps this discussion is better had over in “The Lincoln Project” thread.
  16. USA: “We’ve given Poland the green light to send planes to Ukraine” Poland: “How about we give you the planes and then you give them to Ukraine?” USA: “Whoa, whoa, whoa… let’s not get crazy”
  17. Good move, if true. I'm sure he's not expensive, and he provides a reliable vet EDGE to rotate with the young guys.
  18. From a talent/age perspective... Watson >>> Russ If this happens, good.. Finally get a good QB over to the NFC to compete with cakewalk Rodgers. Although, we saw Kyler look incompetent at times without Hopkins. In the one year post-Hopkins in Houston, Watson didn't exactly look very good - He put up most of his numbers in garbage time.
  19. I’m in Atlanta and Greenville (SC). My office works with a ton of leasing agents and realtors… 9/10 referrals are people moving down from NY & NJ. Florida is great. DeSantis can’t be Governor forever, but since his election, the states voting demographics have gone from a registered Dem advantage to a registered R advantage, with Indy’s leaning heavy to the right.
  20. DK’s vibe last year didn’t seem to indicate a dude that wants to hang around on a rebuilding team. If he tells the team he’s not interested in re-signing after this season, they’d likely entertain offers.
  21. This doesn’t move the needle for me. Id, like most, be on board trading for DK. I understand how much money we’d have tied up in Diggs/DK long term, but I just do not see how anyone stops a passing attack of Diggs-Metcalf-Davis-Knox as long as we stay focused on protecting Josh with a strong OL. It will require sacrificing investment at positions like say.. RB/DL rotation, but it’s worth it IMO
  22. Then we can just grab a RB next year. Most plug n play position in the NFL. No need to prioritize getting a guy to sit behind and/or supplant Singletary.
  23. Get 1st place and you only have to play two of them (at home) This helps us get 1st place in the AFC.
